**March 2018 Mummies - Tri 2**

My sister gave me her moses basket so ill keep it in the living room for the baby during the day and the bedside cot for night time. The babylo cosy sleeper is £100 but im going to hold off and wait if its reduced in January sales.

Merry you will definitely be able to hear the heartbeat at 18 weeks!

Only 2 weeks and two days until our 20 week scan, wow time is flying compared to the 1st trimester!

Hoya haven’t been on here for a few weeks but moving over from Tri 1 I’m due 19th march could I be added please? Merry I had the next to me crib for my daughter.. although didn’t end up using as an open sided crib as I didn’t realise they couldn’t be used in this mode with divan style beds. But it’s quite big and spacious my daughter only outgrew it because she started to pull herself up to standing in it at 6 months so had to move her into a cot which I was going to do around that time anyway as I was planning on her going into her own room from 6:7 months. I’d deffo recommend tho!

Hey girls,
Am back from holiday which was just lovely! I had my 16 week check today and heard the heartbeat which was so nice! I won't be finding out the gender either but also think another boy.xx

Back from midwife appointment - heard heartbeat really clearly as soon as the doppler touched my tummy which was reassuring and lovely to hear! Now can't wait till the twenty week scan in two weeks, looking forward to seeing how much baby has grown!

I'll update the due dates on the first page, just let me know if I've missed anyone!

Posted in Feb and not here lol.

Consultant couldn't find heartbeat yesterday (18 weeks) but a scan showed all is well and baby is super active.

Consultant wasn't concerned. Apparently it's normal to sometimes find it before 20 weeks because baby can be low

Great news Merry and TS :)

Have your bumps now popped girls? I was waiting this to happen and I could feel it last week before bedtime. Felt like a balloon was trying to get through very tight space. Boom and its showing now.

Went to see midwife (walk in clinic), she said I can pop in whenever I feel like and listened to the heartbeat. Baby is just under the belly button. :)

xx

Glad all is well ts2573!

My bump popped suddenly around the middle of week 15, now it's *very* noticeable! I love it :) Maybe twice a week I get sore stretchy pains in my abdomen, and then the next day it's grown again. We're both surprised how quickly I'm growing, if it doesn't slow down soon I'm going to be HUGE!

Nope. I'm getting fatter but no noticeable bump. :(

Hi ladies, sliding on it to Tri 2 finally :) it's VERY quiet in Tri 1 now, I think I was the last one haha!
Unfortunately still being sick, if anything it's getting worse.
Violet is very excited to be a big sister and it's so nice now she knows, Although she does keep telling me my belly is huge which I'm not so keen on :) especially as I've lost weight!
I can't believe how many of you are team yellow, I can't wait to find out!

TS your bump will appear one day :) Do you still wear normal clothes?

Haylian, yay nice to see you here. My weight has not changed it checked it the other day. I tend to eat healthy. How about you?

Do you think girls jeggings are more comfortable than dresses? Jeggings feel like give a bit more support. xx

18 weeks today and wearing my bargain £9 New Look maternity jeans. They are a little big but the hairband trick is getting too annoying now. Bump is well and truly here lol. Depends what I wear but sometimes its more obvious than others. Nonetheless I am loving it!

Hello! Please could you add me to the list on 8th March :).

Nice to meet you all. Some I already know from TTC boards - hello to you! xx

Maybe I was wrong. I don't see it but hubby just told me I'm looking rounder today. He would normally get a slap but he picked the right day.

Welcome, babylove. How are you doing? When did you find out you are having a girl?

I booked private gender scan next week. Really looking forward to it.

Loveandpeace, I was looking at jeggings online. Not sure which ones. I still wear my own but keep them very low. So comfy.

TS maybe your tummy popped ?

Hi hun,

Great thank you :) finally got a nice hard bump and have only been sick twice so feeling lucky!

We had a private gender scan on Sunday just gone (I was 16+3)... such an amazing experience, so plush in those places and the quality of the scan is so much better than nhs scans, the nhs one looks so grainy compared to our Window to the Womb one.

GL at yours and enjoy it!

xx

I had 2 private scans before and it's worth paying cause the experience is a lot better. I was able to ask questions and look at my baby the whole scan.
So going back to the same clinic for gender scan on Wednesday.

Did you get photos and a video? x How quickly during the scan they tell the gender? :) x

Welcome Babylove!
LOL @ TS.
Charlotte if you get good maternity jeggings let me know as I have been thinking of getting a pair as well. Its hard to know online.x

I went into town at the weekend and got some bits from New Look and H&M, I had ordered stuff from Debenhams and Seraphine online but most of it didn't fit so a faff taking it back.

new look had 25% off jeans so got 2 pair for 30 quid! I'm either wearing my jeans or legging/tunic dress. I got quite a lot of stuff the first time round but I'm a bigger starting weigh so some of it doesn't quite fit right.

I've got midwife next week and looking forward to hopefully hearing the heartbeat. Everyone at work knows now and quite nice everyone being happy to hear the news :-)

Not exhausted like in T1 but trying to get to bed by 9.30 otherwise almost asleep in the afternoons!

Exciting all the gender scans coming up, I spent a lot of time wondering if our little one is blue or pink!

Has anyone given any thought to when they might start maternity leave? HR sent me apregnancy notificaiton form and ask for a rough date - not held to it just for staff planning purposes and I really have no idea! Like the idea of having a bit of time with my little boy and getting him used to part time nursery routine before the baby arrivies so thinking maybe 34 weeks.
