Minutes in it Cheryl my baby daughter was born at 1.31pm 8 pounds. Gas and air only. Established labour from 11am! Pushing for 20 mins! Was intense but amazing and she is so beautiful. My iPhone won't upload photos and in hospital overnight as platelets got even lower in labour and they want to check for bleeding xxx

Bubbles, congratulations!! That was swift too by the sounds of it!

It's fab to hear labour described as amazing!! Normally anything but that, which is always worrying for expectant mamas.

I have a feeling I'm almost next in line due date wise haha!

T84 I don't know what the leak is though , unsure if it's water. I haven't gone ... I feel like a hypochondriac X

Just having a nosey as I'm an April mummy but couldn't read your post and not comment. I think you should get checked hun, my waters went with a very slow trickle with my first little girl and I had to be induced as I didn't go into labour. The MW on the phone at the hospital was convinced I was leaking urine but I was convinced I wasn't so I pushed to be checked and it was good I did as I was right! They only like to leave you for 24 hours if your waters have gone due to the risk of infection (my lg was on IV antibiotics as she got septicaemia). So even if it is wee its really better to be safe than sorry xxx Good luck xxx

Well had the consultant appointment this morning and they decided that the combination of big baby, my huge tight bump, head still being free so no sweep, increased fluid the other week and being checked twice for reduced movements is enough to be induced on my due date. So Friday at 8.30am is when it's all happening unless he mircaously decides to come out of his own accord before then x

Baby Joseph born on the 15th at 3:44am. All natural until his head got stuck and ended up in theatre for episiotomy and forceps delivery. Been a bit traumatic. Weighed 8lb 11

Congratulations emcb! I had the exact same thing happen with my daughter 15 months ago so I know exactly how you feel. Make sure you don't leave hospital until you are ready - I stayed 3 days and even then when I went home I found it so much harder to cope with getting in and out of bed etc when it wasn't a hospital bed and having someone check I had taken my painkillers on time! X

Thank you! Still in hospital as needing blood transfusions at the mo, slight chance might get home tonight but more likely tomorrow.

Just been discharged, care wasn't that fantastic, left alone a lot of the time so will be glad to be our little family at home x

Wow can't believe you were out that quick! There was no way I could have left before the three days I was in, it was like I'd been run over by a bus, you must be made of sturdy stuff! X

so many babies!

was in so much pain most of yesterday afternoon/evening, stomach was going rock hard as usual but it was sore and crampy pains mostly down my left side but then i had a regular nights sleep - no idea what that was!

I kinda hoped it was the start of something as I don't feel mobile enough to do much nesting so baby may as well come now!

will be very busy today though emptying rooms to have all the carpets cleaned tomorrow.

hows everyone else doing? Anymore babies?

Nope - no signs here! My own EDD is tomorrow (I'm 41 w by NHS estimates on sat)

You never know Atlantis! I've just realised that lily was born on my original due date and by my dates! So just shows we know more than nhs and your baby could be here tomorrow!!! Xx

Aw thanks Bubbles, well in that case I would need to get cracking with some house work today then don't I?

I'm crazy busy and just started getting quotes for some decorating work to be done on the house lol x
