Madeleine McCann

I was the 1st person to jump on u guys about how they didnt do it, the last time there was a post about maddi. But i dunno know did u see his face when he came out the police station last night, it looked guilty to me.

i take my hat off to the pair of them if they are guilty cos they have fooled the whole world not many people can do that  :?

I guess that's down to interpretation. I thought he looked like a broken man.

He doesn't have a face that's easy to like. He doesn't come accross too well to lots of people. Doesn't make him a murderer though.......

Thinking about it, I can't help feeling it's a bit of a chess game going on here. There's obviously lots more happening than we know about. I still think the public is being 'played ' somehow, but I can't quite put my finger on it......

I'm a glut for a good conspiracy theory though :D

the thing is until they find her or someone confess's, everyone in the world will think up what they want. I would love them not to be guilty i really would, i just thought last night he looked guilty....i dunno guess we will just have to wait and see

It was suggested on the news this morning, by a family friend, that the portugese authorities are just trying to wind things up now and get some kind of closure. Think about it though, they have exhausted every lead, they have no idea where she is and have probably given up hope (the authorities not the parents) of ever finding her. Yet it is a massively public case and they need to be seen to "solve" the case. From their point of view it makes sense to name the parents as suspects, as it is a development, and a development looks like they are doing their job properly.

I still dont believe for one second that the parents are responsible, and will refuse to believe it unless they confess.

The media and internet here is so full of rumours and gossip, and ive said it before but I really hope these kinds of posts on this forum doesnt become a part of spreading those rumours and gossip, its very irresponsible and dangerous.

GGG i couldnt have put it better.
i really dont believe the parents are guilty, i think the portugese police are totally clutching at straws because they have nothing left to go on.
I'll be the first to hold my hands up if im wrong, but whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?

You're probably right GGG. They've done this before. A girl went missing in the same area a few years ago and when they'd exhausted every lead they accused the mother and put her in prison. They never found the girl.
One of the police officers on the Maddie case was involved.

The Portugese have lots to lose here. Tourism is their only boom.
industry.

I'd like to think this is just a ploy to flush out the real perpetrator, but I tend to agree it's more a desperate measure to gain closure.

Unfortunately it'll backfire though, as the backlash we are already witnessing proves.

Can i also just say about the mccanns media attention.

arnt they damned if they do and damned if they dont?

i mean people are saying its suss because they were trying to get too much attention for the case, but if they just stayed away and tried to shun the media then wouldnt people also say they were trying to hide something and theirfore guilty because of that  ?

Shit just read some of the comments on the mirror forum and they are talking about sedation its all fucked up if u ask me

To be honest from the very start ,no matter what anyone says, the parents should have never left the children alone in that room. Its their fault, if they hadent then they would probably still have Maddie today. im not just saying that about the Mcaanns but also all the other parents that went to dinner with them that night.

However i still dont think they murdered Maddie, but as said only time will tell. I just dont like to call someone guilty on minimal forensic scientific eveidence and media speculation.

To me this whole case just stinks of the Azaria Chamberlain case and the JonBenet Ramsey case. Both times the parents were blamed, found 'guilty', jailed and then found to be completely innocent all along.

Media speculation. So they sedated her to death, then her dead body bled into a car 25 days later???

There are no hard facts being presented here.

It's a game of wait and see now.........

there were madelienes blood specks on kates clothes, on the appartment wall, and also on her cuddle cat..
these specks could have easily been transferred to the car without madeliene being put into the car.
death was also detected on kate.

remember, those people on the mirror have more facts than than before the british news do, because they are translated from portugese news

and the Portugese newspapers are credible??

blood specks on Kates clothes??? I thought they sedated her and overdosed, where's all the blood come from?

According to the British media, the blood stains were so minute they were barely detectable!

the 'smell' of death??

She's a doctor!

I seriously won't believe anything until somebody presents some facts.
Innocent until PROVEN guilty!

well who says we finish this at that then?
finish this thread now and the next post will be when the truth comes out?

sorry Kimbo. I wasn't asking you to stop talking about it! It's only natural to debate it. It's good to debate it!

The blood could have come from a number of situations, what if they overdosed madeleine, then panicked and shook her or something to wake her up after they realised that her life couldn't be saved?

I agree there is alot of speculation, but if you think about it by week 5, the media attention had died down considerably, so it would have been easier to dispose of the body than straight after...
