CCTV of a woman and two men with a girl matching Madeleine's description at a nearby petrol station is also being analysed. Their car had British number plates.

And sniffer dogs picked up a trail from the McCanns apartment which led to a neighbouring flat which had been used by a British couple or family.

So how come they have this and dont seem to be doing anything with it? The people that have taken her arnt going to stay in one place and make it easy for them to find her...

they didnt find the clothes, they released them as an example of what she was wearing. they may call off the searches, searches find bodies, they obviously think shes still alive so theres no point in searching, if you had kidnapped a child you wouldnt parade them would you?

it will be detective work that finds her, not searching. i also think shes out of the country by now, the police may have reason to believe the same. they cant comb over portugal over and over.

dont for a second believe the police are telling us everything, they tell us what they want the abductor to know. i took criminal psychology, they will have a profile of the abductor and everything. they will definately not have given up on her.

they found some items that they thought was hers! it was on the news and on the website

they wont have given up on her, theres just no point in searching the area again, they prob think shes been moved. i think she has. i hope to god they find her, can you imagine how much she will be missing her mum and dad?

they found some clothing but it wasn't hers. They also released pictures of the pyjamas last night, and I think that's what was confusing.

They haven't given up on her. They have been searching for a body and they simply haven't found one, which means they are concentraing their enquiries elsewhere now. I don't believe we're being told everything either. Portugese law states that police can't talk about their investigations the way British police can.

It's scary to think that this was an organised and planned crime. To think that peodophiles could actually get together to do this sort of thing is scary beyond belief.

I'm still praying for a miracle......that poor, poor little girl....

The latest developments today sound like they have maybe got lead....a few sightings of a man in a white van spotted by the apartment around time she went missing...also an amercian man who lived in the village hasnt been seen since the day she went missing-he drove a small white van and most importantly he had just lost custody of his 4 year old son There were reports he had a pink pushchair in he back of the van.....

its her birthday, her parents are never gonna get this day back. i hope whoever has taken her is treating her well. she must miss her mum so much.
