I've never seen anybody deny that they made a mistake that night, and all the other nights of their holiday.
There's no argument on that one really.
They are paying the ultimate price now though, aren't they?
In my mind the person who is guilty is the person who took Madeleine away.

i didnt say it came from sky hun, to be honest people are jumping to the defense (sp) of the mcanns when they MAY be guilty - NO ONE knows for sure what happened that night so although its unfair for people to assume its them its also unfair for people to protest their innocence at this moment in time
i am sure the polive have to look into every angle and i hope to god they are not using the parents to push the blame onto just to close a case

i think its just weird how maddie was the only 1 that was taken, why not take the 3 of them? n they found blood in the kate and gerrys car that they hired 20 sumat days after her kidnapp, if she was kidnapped how could they have got maddies blood in the car?
im not accusing them or trying to corse arguments it just seems a little strange

Just a quick reply from me here but shoot me down & I may be wrong but I don't believe the parents are guilty of murdering their daughter.
Even is the mother has been alleged of accidentally killing her daughter, in panic mode, Madeline was checked on at 21.30,not by her parents but by a family friend. Mother checked at 22.00,Police called by 22.10, how on earth could she hide a body within 10 minutes,in aholiday resort that she doesn't know that well and Madeline not be found? the are was searched within 30 mins by people who knew the area inside out!
How would she not have been found?
How would the parents have managed to move the body & dispose with all of the medai following their every move?
Yes,the mother is a doctor & so is the father,in panic mode if they hurt their child accidenatlly,they may not have known what to do but they were dining with 3!! other doctors,sorry but the Portugese accusations don't ring true to me.
If the parents had been checking on the children themselves all night,ok maybe a possibility but as stated above,the 21.30 check was by another one of their friends.....

We have all done a lot of judging agains the parents,but as stated in another post,none of us unless you are angelic can state that we are perfect parents, I imagine that at some stage we have all done something that may have been frowned upon by someone & sorry but I say can't we leave them alone until they are proven guilty,they have enough guilt to live with.

thought it was an hr and a half before anyone checked on the kids cause it was when they was apparently eating that she went missing.
now their saying that her neck was broken on the mirror forum and her body would be there if her neck was broken.
im confused by everything being said just want this case closed

i was reading the newspaper this morning and it says that the mcanns told portugesses police that they arrived at the restaurant at 8:30 where friends were already there. but a lady that works at the restaurant says they did not get there until 8:58 so what was they going 
the parents n family have returned to englandAlso on sky news yesterday it said the last person to check on the kiddies was a male friend of theirs, And he admits he didnt actually go in just listened at the door. Then obviously kate went and checked and found her gone, So she could of gone way before they think??

To me this is Neglect whether they are doctors or not. The police need to regonise the other part of the story that these parents were willing to leave 3 children under 4 alone while they went to eat.

actually they can return home and be formal suspects - they listed their UK address as their official address and in Portugal apparently you are allowed to return to your official address whilst being an official suspect. They're an unlikely flight risk - they're too well known and have a family etc.
I also thought the family friend who checked on them didn't actually go in and check, just checked the windows and doors etc. Don't quote me on that though.
I have no opinions of who did what tbh. I still think the parents were incredibly negligent and blase about their children's safety, but I wouldn't like to guess what actually happened that night.

No no parents should leave their children alone. But dont you feel the police just cant sweep this under the rug as other parents will start to believe it is ok to do so.
The police and alot of people still feel very sorry for them, I feel more for madeline than them. The police should get their heads screwed on properly and see the parents as normal people,
I know what the police would of had to say if it was me and my hubby that did this, Being 24 and 27 and not professionals but both workers we would be charged from day 1 by police for neglect
