@Iris I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope that you can take some solace in the fact that your body can get pregnant...you just need a helping hand to keep it that way. Every loss must be incredibly painful more than I can imagine. I have never mourned a loss....just a constant BFN until Nov.
I hope your Jan appt can bring some answers for you xx
Thank you lovely, a massive stack of paperwork arrived for me and dh to look through. It’s really helpful being able to have something for us to focus on.
I know 18 months isn’t the longest time to have been trying but at times it feels it.
How are you getting on? Have you started to relax a bit more now? X
18 months absolutely feels like a lifetime that's how long we had been trying so don't ever beat yourself up about that.
Hopefully just feeling like you are doing some productive will help. GG was on this forum and was similar to you had a lot of early losses and she has her miracle baby now so never give up hope of a natural conception. I had just swallowed the thought of IVF when my positive came totally out of the blue.
I'm good thanks. Struggling with yet another cold that is flooring me. Morning sickness kicked in this week....altho obvs not fun it is reassuring in a weird way that everything is still happening. OH has been an angel round the house cos I have been hopeless now for nearly 3 weeks. Just want to sleep or lie a hot bath so I can breathe.
Got my 12 week scan date for the 21st Jan so just looking forward to that and a visit to my family first weekend in Feb to hopefully share the happy news I think only then will it feel like it's really happening x
Char - sorry you're joining this thread. Have to say it was a lifeline for me. Hope you're not here too long.
What area are you in? Can’t believe they wouldn’t help you but glad Tommy’s would! XIris, I don’t know what area you’re in but just wanted to say the nhs in my area wouldn’t help me either as my 3 losses weren’t consecutive. I contacted Tommy’s direct who immediately said they’d be happy to see me. My doctor then made the referral. I had to travel to Birmingham for the tests but I think it’s worth it to get it done...plus they’re specialists. Worth looking into x
Glad it was worth it for you and it’s helped for when you get your BFP xI’m in Scotland so had a 5 hour drive each way. I feel it was worth it though, they done a full batch of blood tests that day and are writing to my local hospital to request I get early scans when I fall pregnant and if I don’t then an ultrasound to check everything looks ok. They’ll do a telephone consultation to give me my results so hopefully only need to actually travel there once and they’re happy to answer any queries over the phone too so it’s worthwhile for anyone in a similar position x
Thank you Nikki.Welcome chatty char. Sorry to see you join but happy to have you. I am here less now as I think you know but I still like to pop in and update and catch up with everyone. The ladies on this thread (and a few more that have moved on) have got me through my toughest days xx

I also like to pop in when I can. It's nice to catch up with everyone. LTTTC was truly one of the hardest things I've ever faced and I'll be forever grateful to the support on this thread.
