Any update Alexis?

More brown spotting and it's much darker. Af will be here by the morning exactly 14 days post ov. Madness how we dtd before during and after LH surges and nada. If no blockages and sperm is excellent what the hell is happening !! am not sure what all these pains are down below it's very sharp and feel a like knives.

I have acupuncture tmrw to help clear out my uterous better ready for implantation. Oh well

If by some hopeful chance at isn't in full flow in the morning, please cancel the acupuncture. I seriously only got those stabby feelings when pregnant and I got them before a positive test so the last thing you want is to take a chance on something that might "clear you out" if there's even a glimmer of possibility.

Hi ladies - hope you don't mind me joining your thread
We have been trying for around 13 months now - we have a nearly 4 yr old that was unplanned so assumed that baby number 2 would come no problem

Little did I know how hard it would be!

Husband has had his sperm all checked out and it came back ok. I've had my blood test for day 5 & day 21. My day 21 came back as 24 when they tell me it should ideally be 30?

Dr has now referred me to fertility which I presume is at local hospital (don't know why I didn't ask) she has said they may not accept me as my Bmi is higher than it should be.

Has anyone any experience of this? I'm turning 40 next week so times not on my side

Welcome Nicky! Can't help with the docs query I'm afraid as haven't got any experience myself but just wanted to say hello and we all in hanging in with hope together x

Strange how you always start With brown spotting a day or so. Mine has always been pretty much flow straight away. Especially if I start overnight. During the day sometimes a bit of brown befoee I go red but never spotting like you say.

It ain't over till she's in full flow and if you having these weird pains I agree with GG about the acupuncture. I'm not sure exactly how it's meant to help but if there is any chance of a bean I wiuks be too frightened to do anything to my body x

Yeah I lots of cramping over night and I had red blood in the morning so went to my appointment. On cd1 today cycle 15...I don't think I will ever get pregnant without help now on cycle 15 now. Most women would habe been pregnant twice over or even 3 times in that time frame. Maybe my egg quality is poor dye to being age 34 ! Who knows. I am not even upset this time around as Its just what I expected now...guess I have accepted it now

I had cramping over night and red blood in the morning..i even did a test to check for sure bfn. ...just the usual ! On to cycle 15 now...not even a sniff of a bfp in all that time

I think acceptance is important though as it will help you on your way to preparing for IVF if it comes to that. It felt like a huge step forward for me when I finally accepted our situation for what it is even if it's not what I want it to be.

Different acupuncturists clearly work quite differently. Mine specifically doesn't want to treat me during af.

Well start of a new week hows everyone feeling? I am stiff as a board from the waist down hubby and I went walking on sat for 3 1/2 hours round trip up the coast with lunch in the middle lovely time together but killed my legs off. Then competed yesterday at dressage on the ponio. Came back with a 4th and two 5th between me and my friend who is now sharing him so not too shabby. Lovely little weekend all in all. Don't want to go back to work today but hoping it distracts me from the fact that peak fertility is pretty much over and can't test until AT least a week today. Managed to DTD Saturday but was too knackered yesterday...we have been well covered this month though. Probabky the best month ever since starting TTC so def time to get the ball rolling at the docs if this isn't out month.

How's everyone else starting their week off? Xx

Got a cold but managed to dtd every day around ovulation so feeling like we've done as much as we could this month. Have switched from every other day to every day around ovulation as with my OH drinking cranberry juice it doesn't seem to make a difference. Feeling vaguely optimistic.

Probably around 3rd/4th March. Most months I don't bother testing, just wait for AF to show. Hoping that by amping it up and dtd every day it will help. Also had my first AF that really first normal after all the weight loss so hoping that will help.

I'm a tall girl so woukd need to lose over 2 stone to get comfortably under 30. Small price to pay I know but just gives me something else to think about. Hopefully it won't come to that for us but does get you thinking x

There always seems to be something else to worry about in this minefield. Of course it's not something you want to hear but at least you're prepared for it. They should still refer you and you should still get investigations but most places won't treat you on the NHS if your BMI is over 30. This happened to a friend of mine and she was totally unaware her weight would be an issue and was absolutely devastated. It's so unfair as she's fit and eats well but has PCOS so she's finding it tough to lose. She's been told there's no other way round it though. I believed they're more relaxed if you go private.

You will achieve it if you set it as a goal trust me! . My bmi is 24 but I have been eating a lot of cramp the past few weeks dye to my low mood. It's cramp I can't seem to dig myself out !

Hopefully you dont need the help. I know I will need the help so need to to make sure I don't gain!!

Tried to lose some last year when we started trying and lost just under a stone bit half that crept back on as didn't keep it up. Everything else just seemed to get in the way as it always does. Hopefully with spring on the way can up the exercise a bit to help too x

I had to lose 9 stone to get my bmi in shape. I recommend low carb diets - you can lose 1-3lb a week - I lost about half a stone a month.

So my DH had his SA last week, today I went back to the doctors to get the results of my 21 day bloods confirmed - consistent with ovulation on 2 months out of 3 - hooray! However it then came to my husband's results for his SA last week, low count, low motility and abnormal shape. The doctor said we would be incredibly luck to ever conceive naturally with results like that. He has to do another test to compare it but not looking positive at all, I just want to cry my eyes out!
