Thanks Dee, good luck to you too!! This is my third, first iui resulted in my daughter, second one was bfn, so fingers crossed for the third! How about you? What drugs are you using? Keeping everything crossed xxx
Oh that's great your first worked! We were going to do an unmedicated iui but at the last minute decided to use clomid cd2-6 in the hope I'll ovulate both sides as one ovary and tube are not great. We'll see...first tracking scan tomorrow. What about you? Xx
Hi ladies, quick a quick stop. Been keeping bit of a low profile lately. Still no sign of AF and still waiting to start treatment cycle no 2, booked in a scan for Monday to see what is going on as this cycle currently at 7 weeks and 2 days. Fingers crossed..
Just had my first tracking scan and the good ovary is in the lead! Hurrah! Crap ovary not doing much so not a worry, the good ovary has a definite leading follicle at 12mm so probs will only pop one egg which is good. To be rescanned on Friday. Lining is 8.3mm which is good apparently, seems pretty thick for cd10? Relieved things seems to be working out so far though xx
Dee - that sounds great, fx for a nice egg to pop out.
Lucy - aw hun I'm sorry af is messing you around, she is such a bloody cowbag! Hope everything is ok.
Afm I had a scan today and I've got four follies, two at 10mm and two at 8. We are expecting the two larger to keep going so I've got to carry on with gonal f and be re scanned on Friday.
Dee - had my scan today too and my endo is at 8.5 and I'm cd 12 I think! So sounds good!
Am expecting IUI to be done on Monday with what my follies are up to so far. I have one 10 on my left and the other 10 on my right so I could potentially ov from both sides!
I think we'll be very close! Although I was told it needs to be 36 hours before...I feel very anxious about all the timings, worried I'll ovulate before they do the iui. What have your clinic said about dtd before? Mine said the sperm needs to be at least 36 hours old xx
We are always told to abstain for 2-3 days. I worry too, I sometimes think that the iui should be done sooner after the trigger but I guess they know best. There are some clinics I think in the USA that do the iui twice to ensure they got the right timings. They don't do that here that I know of. I'd try anything though as I'm sure most of us would!
My clinic sometimes scan me during the iui to see where the sperm is being injected but they haven't done this every time... I think it's a good idea but don't feel like I can ask lol!
It's hard isn't is putting al your faith in someone else, especially when we're paying £800! 36 hours seems ages after the trigger but they must know what they're doing I guess :-/
Hi ladies, just had my iui done. Mine is 36 hours after trigger too, and it worked with my daughter so I guess timings must be right?? I am stressing we missed it though. I think as women we just worry about everything.
I feel quite crampy now, but the nurse said the iui was perfect so fx.
How are you ladies? Yay to being in the 2ww at similar times xxx
Google has come through for you! I think 36 hours seems to be average but it varies between 24 and 48.
Thanks for the good luck, I feel pretty unsure about it already though. When is your next scan?
So my second scan today and the normal nurse was back today and she couldn't find the 12mm dominant follicle so reckons other lady measured two together, Dominant one is 11.3mm today, another scan Monday. Hope she's right and i don't ovulate over the weekend by mistake, didn't expect thiis to happen :-/
That's not very good. It is weird how different people have different opinions. Bad when it involves your body. I suppose with the ultrasound scans they are just looking at shadows from sounds but still.
