Blue flower, was supposed to be ivf but I ovulated right before egg collection :( so nothing to collect iui was to save the cycle.

Congrats Esperanza on this exciting, and also nerve wracking time. And Lucy and MissJ im so sorry it hasn't worked out for you. One of my closest friends here has just had ivf, all grade D worse quality, she tested yesterday 12dpo and BFN and had a bright red bleed but only for few hours then stopped?? Anyone have any idea? She said her nipples are very sore, shes got her BETA tomorrow, she had 3 put back but all bad quality.
As for me, well what can I say, I had my D&C tue, I didn't like it one bit, I was heavily sedated so felt nothing but afterwards was dying to pee but couldn't go on bedpan ended up having a catheter, and I was so spaced out but at the same time adrenalin pumping through my body, we left hozzie at 3pmbut it got worse, teeth chattering, muscles spasms, shaking....went back to A&E they were so uncaring had to wait for 3 hours to be seen, by whichpoint it was midnight and Id been up since 6am I was exhausted but couldn't relax was horrendous, eventually I had a massive panic attack in ther hospital and abit of a breakdown....they think the whole thing was the start of a breakdown as my bloods etc all shown ok. The next day I had another panic attack and ended up at the docs and now im on anxiety medication....they did give me anti depressents too but I only took 1 and it knocked me for six so I came off them I don't think im depressed just extremely upset and angry. Ive been feeling aloit better the last few days, haven't needed to pop one of my anxiety tablets thankfully, its been a scary week.
I think the tipping point was whern they came to administer an anti D jab and the nurse said 'This is because you are Rh - and your baby was Rh +, it just made the whole thing seem so real, I had a baby who had there own blood group and now that baby is dead and been removed from me. This experience has been the worse Ive ever had and I even said to DH the other day im not trying again, obviously ive now decided other wise haha, but wont be for a good while as I really feel I was so close to a breakdown these last 4 years have obviously just took its toll x

Sorry to see more bfn's :( I haven't really posted during this IVF cycle as trying to keep my mind clearer rather than being so caught up in the cycle but looking like another bfn for me, quite surprised as had a good feeling and of course heartbroken as it seems to get harder and harder with each cycle.

Sorry to hear what you've been through Gemma, sounds awful x

Well after this mornings BFN. AF paid a visit this afternoon just to confirm things... Oh well. Treated myself to a pear cider in the garden :-) xx

Oh Gemma, bless your heart you've been through so much and I'm so sorry to hear it. Definitely take some time to come to terms with things, cannot imagine the heartache you must feel. Huge hugs, I'm thinking of you hun. :hugs: x

Thank you hun, totally gutted but hopefully the clinic will agree to go again straight away. Just waiting for a call back. Xx

Clinic finally called back. We start round 4 this week, got my baseline scan tomorrow.

I'm having one of the worst af's - TMI alert! - extremely heavy bleeding, lots of clotting and quite painful cramps. :(

Scan should be nice and awkward tomorrow! Lol. X

It may have been a chemical then if af is unusually bad. Hope your next cycle is the sticky one.
 
I'm so sorry to hear about your experience Gemma! It's probably good to take some time!

About your friend, could she had have an implantation bleed? Than it might have been too soon to show on a hpt.

Had my baseline scan today which was awful as I was bleeding so heavily still. Everything was looking as it should so I'm starting Gonal F again today and back next week for a scan. They were so nice and spent a few minutes just chatting to us about IUI and IVF which was nice because sometimes I feel rushed to leave but they took their time with us today and were very sympathetic and kept asking if I was ok.

I got a bit upset which I wasn't expecting, I think because it felt a bit overwhelming to go through the cycle dates etc today and I just felt so deflated. But I'm thankful we get another go which is what I told the nurses so I'm going to try and be healthier this time - exercise more and just cut back on junk. I'm going to try and be even more pro active this cycle - it can't do any harm.

I'm glad you could start straight away! I still consider myself as pregnant - spotting seems to have stopped (touch wood), but it might start again. I have a scan 2nd of May so will see than how things are.

Hope you don't mind me stopping by to see how you are.

Hope you graduate to tri1 soon!!

Hi girls, I've been following your journey and keeping my fx for all of you! Not having experience of the procedures I can't contribute any info but I do admire your strength and probably soon will be joining you, depending what my consultant says. I just wanted to share positive thought with you - I've found an article about study on ivf and iui and is proven that in the summer success rate is higher than at any time of the year! With summer coming up in big steps :dust:
