Eeeek loved picking my dress up, it made it feel so much more real. What kind of dress do you have? I'm testing on Sunday so if you want I'll be your test buddy lol.

I have been feeling fine all evening... No cramps if anything just very mild ones but nothing more.... Scared to get excited! So I shall remain on the fence.

I'm 13dpiui today.... Majorly on eggshells!!!! I feel ok other than this morning my stomach felt like I'd done loads of sit ups lol. Not going to say too much cos in the past I've gotten excited and obviously not got a bfp so I'm praying and hoping this one is different!! This time last cycle I'd had spotting and cramping so I'm desperately hoping the fact I've not had that this time is a good sign! x

Can I ask how you felt having the IUI? Does it hurt? lol

Hi and welcome! I have had an icsi/ivf which means they take my eggs out f the body and than find te best sperm cells an put them back into the eggs. I had to do some injections which I was scared of, but I got used to it. Te egg collection didn't hurt much - I got pain killers before. I'm sure you will do fine! Good luck

Cariad bach iui is a bit like a smear test. I didnt feel much but I had been prodded and poked so many times by that point.

Well, we’ve now had our IVF consultation! Apparently it’s ok to go ahead, but if the suspected hydrosalpinx comes back it will have to be abandoned.

I’m going to be on the Long Protocol using the Oral Contraceptive pill for 12-14 days, Buserilin injections for 1 week, Buserilin and Menopur injections for another 11 days, then Ovitrelle injections for 2 days. All the mixing and injecting looks quite complicated! DH is going to inject me so that I don’t have to look at the needle when it goes in!

The drugs will be delivered in a couple of weeks, they cost £900! I was thinking that its going to be hard to find a time that’s the same each day to do the injections. We’ll be house-bound for a while! Mind you I don’t think we’ll be going out boozing for a while anyway!

I’ve now told my manager and she has agreed planned sick leave after egg collection and embryo transfer which is good.

We’ve got a bit of time off work now and then it will be wait for AF and start on those drugs! As my friend said: “Let’s get this party started!” I’m sure I won’t feel in any sort of party mood though! But its good to think that we’ve made a start towards increasing our chances of having a baby.
