Ladies doing IVF or IUI - 2015 (9 BFPs!)

Had my nk cells test today glad that's done if the results say I have it hope that will explain a few things but if not one less thing to worry about!!
Been trying to do some working out and I recon if my body plays the game we will start IVF the week after Christmas so will have to see how it goes

No the embryos will be thawed tomorrow then they grow them to day 3 as with a fresh cycle, potential transfer Wednesday! Its like being on a knife edge wondering what the result will be, and barely any time to prepare for transfer!

Hope you get some answers Laura, my NK cells were slightly high so they gave me an intralipid infusion and steroids last time and just having steroids this time.

The scan yesterday showed I have 13 follicles altogether. Most of them were small but two were over 18mm. However, they like at least three so I'm continuing with the stims until Monday when I will have another scan. EC may be Weds.

Only thing is I had to had infection swabs done again and today I got a letter through saying I have mild thrush. I hope this isn't going to affect anything. X

No idea about the thrush Phinixgirl but doubt it will affect anything. Are you doing this on the NHS? Sorry if i have asked before... I hope they grow some more over the weekend but 13 sounds great!

It is on the NHS, yes. My acupuncturist thinks I might have 7 they can use but the biggest one now might have gone. If over 5 then can blastocyst. My stim dose was very low as I'd previously over-responded to clomid so they needed to be careful. Hopefully one of those at least will be good enough to use.

The letter didn't say anything about it affecting my IVF treatment, just to get something from the chemist or my GP. Hopefully that means it will be ok. X

If the largest 2 are too mature by next week then I expect several more of the medium ones will be just right. If you have an infection during a procedure they might just give you an antibiotic.

Yes we should get a call today about the thaw then a day 3 update on Monday before the screening!

I feel better today after almost a week and just had reflexology. Still very bloated and lying on the sofa but at least its going in the right direction. NHS where i did ivf will not do any more blood tests and next thing will be scan but not sure i can wait that long! Might do a blood test privately next week to check. Still does not feel like it has happened and scared to be too happy since had mc before xx

Got the call! All 11 survived the thaw hooray! Update on Monday! I am so ready to be pregnant at last and be a mum. Have you done a HPT yet MariaIsabella? Would a digi make it seem real for you? As I've never had a BFP I tested the trigger shot along with my opk just to see what that 2nd line is supposed to look like! Here it is!

Wow, thats great! I though perhaps 60% would survive!!! Cant wait for thr update on Monday! Will they transfer Wednesday for sure?

Did a digital CB test that showed up Pregnant 2-3 Wednesday so happy with that scared to do one again next week if it's the same but trying to enjoy this now. Waiting for sister and having a girls night in watching Strictly come dancing haha

Potential transfer will be Wednesday or possibly Thursday she said today, we won't know if its going ahead until just before. I am feeling very happy today anyway as we've had 2 other good bits of news too!

Just had a call from the embryologist, 6 out of 11 are good quality for biopsy so she will go ahead. They would expect more but said more might catch up and be suitable.
I suppose if it was all amazing we might get our hopes up too much again! She will update me today before sending them off for the results.
We only need one anyway!

Wow lots happening!! How exciting, really hope we get more positive news!!
This weekend I had to endure a baby shower and find out my step sister is expecting her 2nd!! Was so upset, it was a lot to deal with in 1 day!! Only long term Ttcers know how I feel! Xx
