I'm ok, getting quite nervous about it not working...and really not liking the cetrotide injections xx

First blood test over with, scan and 2nd blood test on Thursday. I hate cetrotide, makes my belly itchy xx

I do too, I've a horrible bruise from this mornings and it was hot, itchy and red for hours with a big lump that looked like an enormous gnat bite, boo to cetrotide xx

It feels like a nettle sting, even a shower hasn't helped. Might put an ice cube on it xx

It was horrible when I'd been doing 3 injections per day for a few weeks, it was all bumpy and sore and bruised and I ran out of skin to inject!

Feeling very despondent today. Mixed scan results this morning, I've got 2 at 17, 1 at 14, 2 at 13 and a few at 10. Loads of small ones that won't do anything but still get drained. My Monday blood test indicated 4 eggs. Still looking at EC Monday but worried the two 17s will be over ripe by then and so I might only get 3 good ones. The nurse was a different one and kept asking if it's our first IVF implying that it's hard first time to gauge drug reactions but seeing as this will be be our only chance I feel very down about our chances now. All the talk of my amazing amh and pcos and I've got loads of tiny useless follicles that still might give me ohss after EC and the possibility of not many eggs to fertilise, if they even do fertilise

I don't think they can get over ripe, does anyone else know? The trigger does the final maturation, I think they can get to 22 mm or more.
Will they alter your meds to slow down or speed up the growth? That's what they did with me.
Keep positive if you can! X

The nurse indicated that they can get over ripe....maybe I'll do some googling. My side was increased a little over the weekend and they may call later to increase it more once the consultant reviews the scan and the blood test comes back, the nurse wasn't sure but I think maybe it will xx

I feel really tired since starting the medication, has anybody else felt like this? I'm not sure if it's usual or not xx

I have, it's eased a bit the last day or two but I've struggled to get up in the morning, it's certainly making me sleep heavier xx

Good not just me then! I went straight to bed after taking my injections tonight for a couple of hours. Really been struggling to keep my eyes open. Doesn't help that I have to be a the hospital at 7.45 am on the day I have a blood test, yawn xx

Dee don't worry when I had my scan I had lots at 17mm and the odd 20 (this was a Tuesday) I could not have EC until Friday because they could not fit us in earlier!!! The trigger shot makes them bigger so more time will be in your favour. When I had my scan I had 7 or so on one side and the same on the other but some were only 13mm etc, when it came to EC I had 20 eggs so the trigger and extra time gave me more eggs!! I did not have the blood test just the scan. Don't worry things can change between now and EC xxx

Yes I felt horrid on the stimm drugs at times. I think it's when your follicles are growing and getting big, drink lots of water xx

Had my scan, a bit mixed. The follicles are looking good, had three on each ovary that are between 16mm and 18mm, they were looking at EC on Sunday but I have fluid in my left tube. I have to go back for another scan tomorrow morning. The nurse said either they will drain the fluid when they collect the eggs or freeze the eggs, get my tubes clipped and then that have a frozen egg transfer instead. So dont know what is going to happen now as the doctor needs to decide xx

Oh sorry there might be a complication, fingers crossed tomorrow the news will be different. Good size follicles so that's good xx

I know it's just another hurdle to overcome. The scan I had in January showed no fluid so I wonder if it is caused by the medication which they said can happen. Xx

There are so many hurdles... It's stressful isn't it good size follicles Hun fingers crossed all goes ahead as planned tomorrow, i remember worrying about OHSS one the day of transfer as I had 20 eggs collected so I thought they would not do it but it all worked out fine in the end
