I bearly felt the needle and it just felt a little funny when the liquid was going in but that was it. I found the blood test I had this morning more painful. Got a nice bruise on my left arm xx

Not done I yet, I'm all talk! Yes its much more painful in the vein than stomach fat, haha!

Just had my scan, my left ovary has moved and at the moment is in a better position for EC so preying it stays that way! Lining good at 7.3mm and I've got 2 follies at 10mm and a few more around 7 and 8 and lots smaller than that. I think Monday will give a better idea of what the numbers will be. Had blood test and will get a call later about whether to start cetrotide over the weekend x

Well at the moment it's pencilled in for bank holiday Monday so we'll see what happens next week xx

Cd9. Just had scan, lining is 11.3 so that's good. Not quite as much follicle growth as I'd thought, I've got 8 between 10 and 13 I think she said, maybe one at 14. I'm hoping that most of these reach the magic 18mm together otherwise it'll be a small EC. 8 would be perfect, I've got around 10/12 other smaller follicles below 10, many of which are below 5 so I can see why the dose has been low as wouldn't want all those growing and risking ohss. Ovary is positioned fine for EC so hope it stays that way! Back again weds.

How are you getting on Jasmine? Xx

Lining sounds very good! Minimum they like for EC is 7mm and I will thicken even more! The follicles grow 1-2mm per day so that would be perfect for next week! You might start to feel very full by the end of this week!

Yes I've never had a lining problem thankfully. I thought it might have happened quicker but looking more likely for EC Monday as planned which is fine. I'm expecting to start to get bloated and uncomfortable in a few days! Had a random crying attack making lunch, oh dear, hormones! Xx

I've got my first blood test tomorrow since starting the injections and bloods and scan on Thursday. I started taking cetrotide yesterday, finding that it irritates a little bit. What does the scan do? Xx

The scans track the follicle numbers and growth and the blood test check oestrodiol levels aren't too high I think. You should get a tough idea of how many eggs are likely to be the lead ones to make it to egg collection.

Yes the cetrotide is much more stingy isn't it. I'm started to look a tad bloated and my boobs have felt a bit sore today too xx

The blood test estradiol level also indicates that the follicles contain eggs.

I feel good about the appointment, I think we will feel better discussing it with the consultant, I am up and down but trying to focus on having a break and looking forward to trying again. No it's not long which is great how are you feeling? Xx
