Ladies doing IVF or IUI - 2015 (9 BFPs!)

Don't we all! Age is a funny thing for sure! Xx

I'm keen to know what the scratch is like Dee and RAFMrs, good luck! My treatment is the full immune protocol this time too.
I certainly don't feel my age either, I probably feel 10 years younger and the doctor said "you're still young" when she put the embryos back last time which was nice! Its hard though seeing friends 6 years younger on their 2nd child with no problem.

I'm also interested to hear about the scratch - we've been told we won't be offered until after a first failed cycle. I've read that it increases chances so why not offer to everyone?! We may try and push for it at our follow up appt.

I've had a scratch before, I'm having private treatment but use a different clinic for a scratch. It's really not too bad as I remember it but get a refresher next Thursday so will let you know fresh. I truly believe it did help my last cycle and worth the £150 I pay.

My clinic only offers the extra tests and procedures after 2 failed IVFs because it works on the 2nd go for most couples apparently.

Hi Blueflower can I join you ladies :-) hoping to have another ICSI March /April time following our bfn from first at the end of last year x

On a health kick from tomorrow, fertility smoothies & loads of positivity xxx

Sarah x

A good number of us to kick some IVF Bum in a good way for 2015 :-) x
OH tried his smoothie last night, the grimace wasnt a good sign lol but it looked worse than it tasted ;-p

So we have been told to call the clinic in tge new year to find out where we are in the waiting list....is tomorrow too soon to call?!? Desperate to find out lol xx

I've been given one more cycle of clomid then move on to iui with menopur 75iu, 3 cycles. Rescanned today and endo on right ovary measuring 1.5 cm. if that fails will then move on to ivf.

Think 2015 is going to be a busy year!!!

Oo exciting times... this is our first ivf cycle. I'll be notifying IVF clinic on cd1 in 12-14days time then should be starting short protocol on norethisterone?. Look forward to lots of advice and support :)

Hi kkheartsbaby, you have the same IVF plan as us. I start taking norethisterone on 14 Jan! Good luck. x

My drugs have arrived! I posted a photo on my journal. 3 boxes this time! The stuff for the drip looks massive and the extra injections look scary too! Made me feel a bit sick when I opened them, like opening a gruesome Christmas present!

Yes I wont be too far behind you all being well though the main concern for them is ET as they took almost an hr getting through cervix during hsg so if mock ET unsuccessful then they are having to perform procedure to stretch cervix eeek! My luck really.

My clinic will sedate for ET in some circumstances, I think yours would be one of them! Maybe it's worth asking. x

My first HSG was painful and they weren't able to proceed as the tube wouldn't go through, then I had a hysteroscopy under anaesthetic and after that the tube went through fine for IUI. So sedation could work for you. Did it hurt as well?
