Ladies doing IUI or IVF - 2016 (11 BFPs so far!)

The blueberry omelette was marginally better than being plain but it wasn't a revelation sadly

A number of my follicles grew a whopping 6-7 mm in 2 days so I'm 20 mins from taking my trigger injection! So glad this is the last lot of injections in this cycle. Egg collection on Monday, the day after I turn 40! Hoping it's a happy birthday present

Oh my! Xing fingers for a nice bday gift! That would be so nice!!

Thanks tigerpaws! Fortunately the embryo made it to yesterday and 5 cells by the time it was transferred on day 2, so now I'm officially in the 2ww after many months of waiting for this moment! X

Yes the size was good. In the morning they were hoping for 2-4 cells and it was at 4 with cells nice and even and quality good-fair with a little bit of fragmentation seen. Between then & the afternoon it grew an extra cell so was still developing which was a good sign.

I'm just praying that all the dietary changes I made help this little one to develop well. X

How are you doing dear? Any hope? When's test date

Hi tigerpaws,

Test date is Wednesday next week. I'm 7dpo (effectively) so I have been telling myself it's too early for symptoms. The meds I'm on give me a whole host of pregnancy-like symptoms but at least I know that's where they're coming from! I've not been feeling so well yesterday and today but trying to convince my excitable brain that it's down to other things eg the hot weather, what I've eaten etc. I know that from Wednesday my brain is going to start going crazy imagining things though!

Ugh, just had the most horrible dream where some doctors were looking at my ivf results and laughed and said I was a couple of cycles away from the menopause and there was no chance anything would work! Gotta love the 2ww :-/

Hi Katie & tigerpaws - sadly it was a negative. At least my mind didn't play 2ww tricks this time and for the last week I was essentially expecting this. Still very gutting. I think I've got one last try left in my life with my own eggs.
