***June 2018 Mums***

yay urban!

Ditto with your points, i’ve got a few pink things, not that I am particularly bothered about gender and colours but am a bit worried midwife made a mistake coz she was a pain and it’ll be a boy! I feel really small and don’t always feel pregnant so I am concerned too, people have said I am small but that a bump is forming and I just want to tell them to shut up!!

Ahh I’m glad it’s not just me haha! I wasn’t worried that the lady made a mistake with the gender but now everyone keeps saying it it’s worrying me! Such a pain!

Yeah I feel huge but I keep getting told I’m tiny! So I’m living in tight clothes haha! Most people don’t want a big bump whereas I want one haha! This is a pic of me today, 22 weeks exactly!

There are some lovely names being chosen here. We have a shortlist of 4 - I'm not sure we will get much further before the birth haha.

I think you've a lovely bump Urban - it's not huge but I wouldn't say it was small either, you're clearly pregnant!

I sympathise with the worrying about gender. I went back to have final measurements done yesterday (all fine!) and had the sex confirmed by 3 sonographers *phew*. I still won't buy anything that isn't white/grey though!

Your bump is bigger than mine urban and i’m 24 weeks now! def going to mention at midwife appt on Monday as I am quite worried!

Saw a midwife today, who was lovely. No protein in urine, took blood pressure and I heard the heartbeat :)

Aww good stuff princess.
Love hearing the heartbeat!

Hope all you ladies are doing well. I'm blooming shattered this last week! On countdown to maternity leave now lol xx

When do you go on mat leave Spriddy?!

Lovely that you got to hear the heartbeat princess!

I'm bumbling along nicely. Managed to pick up a vomiting but over the weekend, which I really didn't need, as I'm 5lbs down now, and people were commenting on how 'tiny' my bump was before that. Baby seems to be wiggling about nicely though so not to worry. 17 more days until my 24 week MW appt. It seems like an AGE between appts now the scans are done. I need more milestones to get excited about haha.

I'm putting 2 week holiday in end April 1st week may n then start. I'm down for 4 overtime shifts next month though just for little bit extra cash but don't feel like it if I'm honest! I'm 23 weeks today and have midwife appt tomorrow. Feels like ages since last time saw her

Hi ladies,

Not checked in for ages. As this is 2nd baby for me and I am low risk I last saw midwife at 16 weeks and now not again until 28 weeks! It is so long between appointments.

Overall I am really not enjoying the pregnancy at all. My anterior placenta means I barely feel baby compared to first time round which worries me, together with the fact that I have spotting and bleeding intermittently every few days. Ive been checked out and cervix is closed and no sign of pre-term labour so its been put down to one of those things, but its horrible. Feels like I am leaking when I walk, and it makes me so anxious. I literally cannot wait to get this baby out and not be pregnant any more. Sorry for my pity party!

Hi ladies,

I’ve not checked in for a while! Got a few weeks to my next midwife appointment as mines at 25 weeks for some reason so I feel your pain! Especially as I had a little scare the other day as I wasn’t getting much movement, then the next week she was having a party in there! It’s sooo nice now to see my belly actually moving! It’s crazy!

I finish work on 4th May but my mat leave doesn’t start till 6th June due to holiday so I cannot wait!

One annoying symptom I’m having and I wonder if anyone else is getting it is restless legs! I’ll be sat watching TV and all of a sudden I get a really bad urge to move my legs, I go all tingly from the waist down! And then I can’t stop...it’s horrible! Anyone else got this?!

Summerwine I get completely what you mean! People don’t think before they open their mouths!

Pregnancy is quite stressful isn’t it!! I had someone touch my small bump today, I wasn’t impressed!

Also felt a lot more movement yesterday and today which has worried me but hoping it’s just moved into a different position and as I’m getting bigger I feel it more often? I’m sure it’s supposed to sleep a lot!

Ahh yes I was exactly the same I had one day super active then quite a few very quiet, so I did call the midwife but she said as I’d had no pains or bleeding that I should be ok but if I was still really worried then to call back later in then day and then if I wanted some reassurance to book a midwife app but then I got a few sporadic movements so I calmed down a bit, like you I just assumed she’d got in an awkward position!

Hi ladies, it's great to see how well you're all getting on. I've been quiet recently as been having a tumultuous few weeks in life elsewhere so feel like I haven't had any chance to appreciate my growing bump or focus on exciting baby things, including checking in on here much. My husband and I are now putting ourselves and our baby first though which is a relief.
What a lovely bump Urban! I've 'popped now and certainly looking pregnant, my 22 week scan (everyone else' seems to have been about 20 weeks!?) is Monday so I'm really excited. Is anyone else going to the London Excel Baby Show in March?
Hope you all have lovely weekends x

Been for whooping cough vaccine today just waiting to see if the achy arm sets in as I've read it's normally a few days of aching

I got my whooping vaccine today spriddy, I was shocked by how much it stung compared to the flu one! 22 week scan complete, babyHS was a real pickle and it took an hour to get all the measurements but all good and we remain none the wiser on gender :) x

Hate to tell u this but there's probably worse to come mine has hurt so much ever since and it's a hard lump! Sorry! And now it's glucose tolerance test tomorrow but it's also 24 week viability mark for me! Glad scan went well in the end hs think we've got some right monkeys on our hands lol x

Do you go to docs for whooping cough? I’m clueless!

Anxiety is in full swing at the moment, stressing so much about baby movements it’s ridiculous. Have a 45 minute assessment with a therapy person later so will see what they suggest is best for me! I hate that I’m making my husband worry about me as I’m panicking over too much movement one minute and not enough the next. Aaarghhh! 14 weeks to go.. I can do this!

They should send you a letter for your Whooping Cough mine did! My arm was dead for dayyyyys!

Owh i'm the same with movement Princessaxy! I very nearly went up to the hospital the other day but luckily a midwife call calmed me down. I think she'd just got herself into an awkward position! But seriously if you are worried call the midwife, I was so reluctant to as I didn't wanna bother any one (the joys of working in the NHS where you're constantly hammered not to speak to anyone unless you're dieing haha) and I finally gave in and called and she couldn't be more helpful and reassuring! You should have an urgent number to call on your orange book (if everyone has orange books haha).

I'm 24 weeks today my first was stillborn at 27 weeks so from now onwarrds i will struggle to control my anxiety. Its sad we dobt get to enjoy pregnancy xx
