I'm fine mc is in full flow now and still no answers to my heart issues. The lack of consistency is awful. Everyone has different opinions and different views!

Sjenkins sorry your so scared about your private scan and have cancelled it. It really is a scary time in tri 1 and as much as we look forward to the scans they are also very scary as they can tell you so much. I hope your anxiety lessens ready for your 12 week scan.

Glad your booking in appt went well blueclass and that you are low risk so that you have more flexibility birth wise. I wish I could chose the birth centre but my mw was reluctant due to my previous births, an emergency section and then a retained placenta. I'm quite gutted as the birth centre is just 5mins away and the hospital about 35mins.

We have our downs blood test at our 12wk scan, think they do it after if I remember correctly. Still no date for me in the post, I'm 11+1wks today. Think I may phone mw tomorrow if nothing in the post tomorrow xx

Ours gets done at 10 weeks and then at the 12 week scan they look at the fluid and they will have the blood results already so I get a result whilst having the scan. Xx

That's good. We get a letter in the post with the risk. But they do tell us the fluid level at the scan. Funny how different nhs trusts do it differently xx

Yeah I'm surprised they are different. I think it's a good that they will import the fluid level into the computer then it calculates the risk. It's good that I don't have to go home and wait and we can discuss the outcome there and then xx

My turn to worry today. Yesterday morning I suddenly felt very uneasy about how much better my sickness has been. I told my self not to be silly and to enjoy feeling better. Then lastnight I had brown spotting- cue panic! I've managed to calm down about it today. It's only a tiny bit and I know brown blood is old blood and all that but blood is never what you want to see. OH has booked a scan for me in the afternoon to put our minds at rest. Wishing it could be over already, lol. With DD I had bleeding behind the placenta and had to rest for 6 weeks so we also wanted to check its nothing like that.

Good luck for today Bunny, hope all is ok. I've had 3 periods of bleeding so far so I have my fingers crossed for you all is well.

Good luck for your scan on Sunday too Blueclass and the following Sunday Millielaura.

I have done a lot of twoing and froing between midwives and hospital today and found out my scan referral hadn't been sent over by the mw's. Finally all sorted out and I have my scan on Friday 20th Nov at 11 am so just 1 week to wait Feeling excited now and nervous lol xx

We just got back from the scan. It doesnt seem like good news. She wasnt 100% sure and wants me to come back next week. I think she thinks I might have my dates wrong but I know I dont. Going to go to another scan just now with a doctor that has much better equipment to confirm but I dont really have hope. Sorry to bring more bad news to the June mums.

That's the day after mine kanga, i just want next week here now!
I keep getting pulling pains in my right side and thought I could feel a lump, doctor asked me to get sonographer to check it at scan next week but did say it could be a ligament. And no rhinitis apparantley just a virus, but I think they put everything down to a virus these days!!
