Okay ladies what can I take for constipation? :wall:

As in from the chemist or Asda or something any ideas? Me and prune juice have had a falling out because it's useless:roll:

Wow Shepherdess 11 weeks! That is awesome, and so is having a bump! Mine is most definitely appearing, way earlier than with DD!!

Laura I can only imagine how happy your mum must have been. Seeing the reaction of the closest family is priceless.

GG well done to you!! If I lived closer I's come round just to try that burger! Best of luck x

Shan... I am the same. Just can't win with this stupid constipation. And the cramps are so uncomfortable! I am buying lactulose on Thursday. Not a major fan of taking anything while pregnant but needs must!! x

JJ Re.letter, last time I had appointment om Monday and letter arrived on Thursday the same week, this time I had appointment last Thursday and still waiting for the letter x

KHTW I'm really not wanting to take anything either. I had cramps the other night in the bathroom nearly passing out from them. Oh was like "are okay in there is it the sickness?" And I was just like yeah the sickness lol you don't even need to know about this. :roll Gonna try one more day and then like you I might take lactulose. I know from experience by the time your uterus rises it can't get so much more painful ughh!! Xx

Dd is going to see Santa again today with nursery this time. Part of me wasn't going to give permission lol I'm bricking it!!! She's also got a trip to the park on the 13th and me and my fil were seriously considering going to the park and spying lol. Parenting really doesn't get any easier ladies. I'm struggling soooo much giving her independence and trusting other people to take her places and take care of her. . She's only 3 and stil my baby! I wish I was working this morning to get my mind off it :/

I totally get you shanivy! our nursery sent a letter about a cinema trip and I was like no way, she's only 2.5 not risking it. in the end they said I could of course go to but we had a dentist appointment anyway. I hate other people taking my DD out and about. even her dad I'm like "don't take your eye off her for a second, hold her hand, carry her through busy crowds" I'm so silly

Shan did you know your DD is way closer to being 4 than 3 lol!!! But I so know what you mean. I am super overprotective... DD is 2 and we still haven't been out just the 2 of us and leave her with babysitter (grandparents). Honestly it is so difficult. She is my world x

Can I be added for 19th July please as my due date?

Lucky Laura, it does start to go a bit quicker. It was dragging awfully for me, and it's still slow but I'll be in my 9th week from tomorrow and week 8 has gone really fast!

Shepherdess yes!! A cinema trip really?! Fuck no lol. I was like excuse me since when do nursery have to do trips!! I'm the same with OH. Make sure she holds your hand, don't let her walk on the traffic side. Stay off your phone, pay attention etc. When I'm at work I'm like did she eat, what did she have, did you see if she needs a drink, make sure she washes her hands, is she in bed. Lol poor him he just lets me go on too xx

KHTW haha please don't lol she has to go into primary school next year and I can't even think about it. My mum lives in NI . But my in laws have babysat her. They have her when we're both working lates which thankfully doesn't happen often. But at my house so they can put her to bed here. But I still check up on her and nobody's ever had her overnight. They keep asking can they take her on holiday abroad just them and I'm like noooooooo xx

Take her abroad?!?!?! Are they nuts?! Hahaha not in a million years! hahaha

Our DD never stayed overnight anywhere either but she has recently been spending 2 days a week with her grandparents in our house. Hubby was asked to help out extra at his work over November and December so he works all days Thu and Fri now. So his mum and dad come round to sit with her until I come back from work (3.15). I must say that DD has been loving it!!!! We are going to ask them to babysit next week so we can go to cinema... getting braver :D

We may as well do it now, once the new baby comes that'd be us 'stuck' at home for another 2 years :rotfl:

PB I just saw this on another thread and I don't think your 10 week scan will be your dating scan
''We have a VERY wriggly, kicking, waving baby in there cooking. I’m actually only 11+1 so need another scan next week so they can do the screening bits that I was too early for today.''

I just saw that too. My dating scan is at 10+5 so I think if you're having testing and they can't get everything they'll bring you back in? Hm

Oh actually NHS says the downs Edwards and platau can be done from 10 weeks, I thought it was 11 xx

strange... yes perhaps it depends on baby's position and not so much the weeks. I don't think I'll be scanned before Christmas :( x

If baby is moving lots, it's probably just impossible to get a good enough still to do any useful measuring.

Is anyone else suffering from a really bunged up nose? I know it's a pregnancy thing to help while our immune system is compromised but getting really fed up of it now. It's really affecting my sleep.

yes GG I'm so stuffed up in the morning. big green bloody snorts haha yuck. I gpt it bad last pregnancy to. it so weird though as soon as you give birth all these weird niggly things stop
