Eek PB happy 10 weeks xx

Mw appointment was fine. We need to decide whether or not we want the nuchal scan or just a normal dating scan so we'll have a little chat about that today and decide.

I'll be consultant led due to a previously broken pelvis and back and the Lletz procedure. She did warn me that my previous back injuries could cause me problems and I'm like, "they already are" lol.

All god though, she's so lovely.

Is anyone having any breathlessness??? I don't think I had any with dd until later but been losing my breath the last day or so.. hmm.

Me!! I've been experiencing this for a while now, totally didn't expect it so early on! x

Me too. Comes in waves. I'll have a few days where just getting up and walking to the kitchen has me breathless, then a few days where walking up the hill I'm fine. Walking up the hill on a breathless day is beyond challenging though, lol.

Its driving me nuts tbh. Glad to know i'm not alone though

I had breathlessness with dd not so much this time.
Yeah she's nearly 4 months bought her some Ellas kitchen food things to try can't wait heh. She's teething but too young to understand teethers.
I'm 10 weeks today, double digits scans on Wednesday can't wait x

Aw its so exciting at that stage. I remember feeding Ivy for the first time like wtf am I doing haha. She liked ellas kitchen too. Happy 10 weeks lovely xx

Had my booking in appointment the morning, all went well and I am low risk which is good news. My midwife is lovely.
Took bloods and urine sample so will send them off for testing. They also showed us round the birthing unit, it's lovely, very home from home
I have my 12 weeks scan on 28th December!! eeeek not long to wait now!

Took bloods and urine sample so will send them off for testing. They also showed us round the birthing unit, it's lovely, very home from home
I have my 12 weeks scan on 28th December!! eeeek not long to wait now!

Glad it went well. Oh thats so interesting they showed you around the unit. I didn't see mine until I was in it lol. December is gonna fly for us all I reckon! xx

Haha, well it was very quiet, its a midwife led unit so no doctors, if I need a doctor i would be sent my ambulance to a hospital 20 minutes away, hopefully I wont need that thou and everything will be normal!

Yeah, I'm consultant lead and will be on main unit as will probably be c section at the end of June. Mw is actually quite concerned about my back and pelvis so will see what the consultant says.

Lucky! your scan is before mine, I'm gutted I have to wait until the 30th x

they originally said 2nd January but i was like do you not have any earlier lol, then she said she had 28th as the last slot, I took it haha!

Me too. I'm 39 so Dan and I just had the downs/Edwards/Patau talk and have opted not to even have the nuchal scan. Just going for the dating scan.

I wouldn't abort regardless as the testing is not conclusive and anything very serious will most likely be picked up on later scans so I don't want to worry over possibly nothing. Dan is fully supportive which is ace. It's a little mini us, whatever it is x

GG my mom just had the blood test for it (she was 43) and then said she needs to do that needle thing because it came back high chance and the needle thing can cause mc she told them to fk off she wouldnt care if baby has downs. (lil sis is OK btw).

They say that the dating scan should be between 11-14 but if they manage to take all the measurements at your 10 week scan, it will be your dating scan xx
