It wasn't clear from looking online whether that's something that should only happen later when you've got a lot more to carry around!

I'm sure my DH would have been laughing too but he's gone off with work for the week, thankfully he's back tomorrow... I find that sometimes little pregnancy things stress me more when he's not about to tell me I'm being daft!

aw yay shanivy gret you've got your scan before Christmas. are you taking your lo? we're not now but only because she's in nursery on the morning of the scan, if it wasn't booked and paid for I'd have taken her

Sorry shepherdess I completely missed this! Argh lol. No I'm not taking her I'm too afraid to. My scan is 2pm. My mil is taking her, though she thinks I'm going for a scan on my back. Is this your private one then hun? I'm booking a 3D scan for later on so I think we'll take her to that though xx

Just wondering, has anyone ever had like, a sneeze or a cough and had it coincide with a sharp(ish) pelvic twinge? I'm assuming it's more something to do with the muscles down there changing rather than something to worry about?

I was so exhausted today I had to leave work... this is the worst I've felt and I never felt like this last time. I'll have to get my head around it!

Just sorting myself out with a ticker so it can say how far along I am even if the OP has disappeared for now

Although it could be worth asking a moderator if they could edit the top post?

Oh yeah. I get this. And a twinge if I get up too fast or turn too quick lying down. It's okay don't stress about it. I'm like *sneeze* ow! *sneeze* ow! Oh thinks it's a funny the dick xx

Haha I did this the other day it was a massive sneeze and I literally googled “can sneezing cause miscarriage” cos it hurt so bad! I’m not telling my OH about that one he’ll tease me forever!

We should maybe ask Dee to transfer the admin rights to one of more frequent ladies. I'm sure she won't mind x

I'd honestly leave it be for a while. I really hope she and her pregnancy are okay, but the last thing she'll need if she's going through something horrible is the blow of a message that, while perfectly reasonable and well meant, could be really upsetting and add guilt to other emotions.

Might be easier to just start a new thread and let her join back in when she can as I really hope it's just that she's been busy and nothing has gone wrong.

Just want to say thanks for your words of support yesterday ladies. I went to bed early and am feeling much less emotional today. Just the ups and downs of pregnancy.

Been reading back through the pages, such great advice here. And it's exciting that some people's scans are coming up soon. I have to wait until January which seems like forever!

On the slight pelvic twinge whilst coughing or sneezing, yes, I've definitely had that. The first couple of times it really scared me, but I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I feel silly because I wussed out of work and then spent the afternoon watching reruns of Merlin and thinking "you know, I feel like a fraud now,I feel much better'

Then again I suppose literally getting horizontal on the couch helps on that front!

Rachel84, welcome! Happy to have you here. I wanted to ask you, as you said you are 8 weeks along, can I ask what date you are counting that from? It's just because I still don't know how far along I am as I didn't have a period before getting pregnant but using a combination of different things, including Clear Blue PT, I think I am roughly 8 weeks. I want to see if that roughly lines up. If it's too personal to tell me no worries at all, I just thought I'd ask Thanks!

Wow, been away for a few days and missed so much!

PB, glad your scan went well. And welcome to all the new group members.

It's so exciting everyone is getting scan dates. I have mine on January 4th so looking forward to a good start of the year

I'm 6+1 and had somehow escaped any morning sickness up to this point..... Until I had to catch a flight at 9am this morning. Felt rough as anything. Told myself I was going to get some work done when I got home, ha! I've been lying on the sofa since I got in.

Hey, no problem, my 8weeks is worked out by the midwife though. My personal due date puts me 8+3 as I'd been charting I knew my o date. I did try explain it to her but clearly not well enough. Ah well. I'm hoping the dating scan will agree with me. Anyway the dates she used was period 27th Sept and ovulation date 11th October. (I'd tried to explain I ovulated CD11 not the 11th. Haha. Anyway)
My dates are period 28th sept. Ovulation 8th Nov and we bd 8th/9th. I don't know how helpful it will be but I had my first postive test 25th Oct. On the 27th Oct I did a digital and got 2-3 and on the 5th Nov I finally had the courage to test again and got my 3+ on the digital. Hope something in my babble maybe helped?
Must be a little frustrating not knowing your dates but great you fell on so quick. Have you heard when your dating scan is yet? Hope it comes around fast for you so you can finally have a proper due date.

Hope everyone's okay this evening. I'm glad to be home, after an hour nap I actually feel hungry... Must be those chips I'm waiting for!!

Come home to my OH with a cold.. Ugh you'd think it was the end of the world!!! "please look after me" excuse me but I've been feeling like shit for 3 weeks and get called moaning myrtle. You've had a cold for less than a day and it's the worst thing ever?!

no it's my NHS 12 week one, I meant if nursery wasn't booked and paid for, hoping to do something nice like a pub lunch once we pick her up and tell her

yes to whoever asked (I can't keep up) sneezes are the worst right now, I was sure I felt a proper pop earlier I was scared to go to the toilet

Sorry PB...never thought you meant that in a nasty way at all...I actually agree that it would be good to be able to keep it updated.My bad, sorry...was just suggesting a new thread may be better than someone messaging her. I'm so losing track of everything at the moment, I can't even remember who said they would and it's irrelevant anyway.

Really sorry if I was a bit blunt...it seems to be my go to today. Had a day off today and struggled so much getting a few horses in for the farrier. When I got back in the house, I felt like I was going to fall straight on the floor. Felt bloody awful all day and have let Dan do the animals as he's been working from home. He's a total star. He's gone to get me some chocolate milk from Tesco and a chocolate milkshake from McDonald's as that's about the only thing I really fancy this evening.

I think I may have said I could maybe eat a little cheese and tomato pizza but I was in a bit of a nauseous daze when he asked, so I'm not entirely trusting my memory, lol.

So, PB...sorry again for any mix up and hope all you ladies are feeling okay. If I'm like this tomorrow, work is going to have to cope without me. I'm having to cling to the walls just to get to the loo.
