Thanks girls. I know, it was 39 when I took her in and 41 when the doc took it. She's never been that high. They said "She may start to have a seizure but don't panic it's harmless" I'm like fuck! Nurofen and calpol aren't really helping this time. I was really panicked last night. It's going down but shooting back up. They said if she gets worse to bring her back in doc we'll see but I think she's getting better. It's gradually coming down a bit.

I'm not too worried about work but my line managers can be assholes. hope you're all keeping okay.

flowerbomb - wow that is a bargain, where is that at, I'm going to check if there is one in my area.

So when do you ladies plan on telling your employer, or even your manager just to make them aware.

its at mybabyscan burscough. should be £49 but on offer for £29. all the other places local to me were £89.

I told 2 of my co-workers, the girls I share office with. They have know me for years and would have suspected something anyway! I am not telling the management until 12 weeks scan so probably will do that after Christmas, all they can really say is 'Congratulations' I returned from maternity July 2016 so been working for a while lol x

Well my manager was searching for someone to do my job for ages. The other day she introduced me to someone as her "saviour" and said she wouldn't know what she'd do without me. I sat there smiling but inside thinking oh shit I'm gonna ruin that for you!!

Flower I did see something about scans for 29 on facebook. Not in my area tho 90 quid for me it's outrageous how they charge that for a 5 min scan. I spent over 1000 throughout ttc, mcs and my daughter. X

Shepherdess gaviscon works for my reflux. The girl at the chemist told me now reflux is considered a pregnancy illness. So you can get stuff for it on prescription free xx

thanks, I've bought gaviscon advance but I really struggle to take it it makes me vomit. I was on ranitidine last pregnancy and have been on omeprazole since so hopefully I'll get out straight onto ranitidine this time

Hi everyone,

I THINK I am a July mummy. I don't have my due date yet but that is my current best estimate. Which would put me at roughly 7 weeks now, does that sound right? I am not able to calculate exactly at the moment because I did not have period after coming off the pill, so I have been trying to go by possible date of conception and the Clear Blue test I took.

But anyway, I am really happy to be here. Currently nausea is ruling my life. I find I have to eat every 2 hours just to keep it somewhat at bay. But I know I am lucky that so far things have been going OK.
I won't have my scan until January and so far this forum has been a real lifeline to talk and read about all these changes taking place.

Looking forward to chatting with all of you more frequently

I've really gone off food today and keep getting hot flushes / chills is this normal for 4-5 weeks pregnant?

Oh I know PB. I don't do temps they're the worst. Already bribed at the hospital to take more nurofen so she's going to the Disney store when she's better. Will have to steer her away from anything I've bought for Xmas. I was desperate haha. She's napping now beside me in my bed. Takes me back to teething, she was the worst for this

My morning sickness is here with a vengeance today too. I've given in to just being sick to get it over with for a bit. Its awful but like you said it's reassuring to have that symptom. Oh did you get your progesterone sorted? xx

Hey JenKat. Sounds like you're July hun . I'm 7 weeks tomorrow give or take. I have dodgy cycles and on and off ovulation so I'm probably off too. We'll find out at our scans lol.

I have a 3 year old little girl, is this your 1st?

Morning sickness just started for me and crackers/rich tea biscuits are my life right now lol.

I haven't had morning sickness, but horrible nausea and not able to even look at food for the past couple of days. Today I'm hungry constantly. So worried my symptoms are leaving me and mc is coming guess I'll know for sure tomorrow x

That's ridiculous though, you could have lost your baby from their incompetence. Lucky you had some left and didn't chuck it!

She'll only be getting a small thing now since Xmas is almost here and she's been spoiled with it being her last Christmas on her own. Plus her birthday is January. But I did promise lol xx

Shanivy, yep this is my first pregnancy so all this is very new to me. My first scan isn't until January so I am working with an estimate at the moment

The nausea has been crazy at times, and today I just feel exhausted. I went for a short walk and that actually seemed to help. The cold air and movement seems to make a difference.

Scan went really well today. Little bean is measuring just over 1cm and we see the flickering heartbeat today made it seem much more real. Confirmed I’m 7 weeks. First midwife appointment tomorrow as they can’t get me in when I’m between 8 and 10 weeks. I have another reassurance scan when I’m 10 weeks on December 8th

Ah, that's lovely Kayla. Must gave been so good to see the heart flickering away.

I'm booked in for my scan tomorrow at 12.30 and can't wait as it's also my birthday. I'm praying so hard that it all goes okay as it would be the best birthday present ever.
