**** july mummies 2018 *****

I am exhausted... My back was quite sore last night so I couldn't get comfortable. DD waking up looking for a cuddle did not help either.

And the hot flashes?! What is that?! It feels like I am about to get a cold but I know that's not it. Now off to work I go... great. Xx

Snap (minus cuddly child). It's going to be a struggle at work today today for sure x

morning girls

shanivy, my lo hated the fireworks. she was so excited and loved the bonfire but as soon as the fireworks started we had to leave. thankfully for us there wasn't traffic

my nausea seems to have upped its game a bit, but it could be because I've eaten crap all weekend. I guess this is the one time it's not too bad being on a farm, I can moan away and take little breathers without having colleagues looking at me or anything. I've got anti sickness bands from my last pregnancy so I might put them on now

Sickness bands? Do tell. Yeah...I felt a little iffy doing the horses first thing. So much nicer knowing I can just be sick anywhere and not worry. In work now waiting for colleague to open the door to our office. Feeling better but wondering if I'll be needing a brown paper bag with me this time next week, lol.

Anyone ever had teeth pain? Feels so strange!

I was in so much pain last night and again today, making me feel all hot, sweaty and sick. Got the worst headache too. Sat at work thinking omg I just need to go home! But I can't.

How is everyone today?

Jem my teeth have been a little sensitive recently to. Once you have your exemption card go to the dentist.
Everytime I get pregnant I get a twitch in my left eye, so annoying!
Nausea is super bad in thr car but I get car sick anyways it's just got worse. I'm 6 weeks today :) only 2 days to know if I have a sticky!

Hope you are all well, and enjoyed bonfire night! :D

anti sickenss bands... an elastic band which have a big bead on, you wear on your wrists and when placed correctly the bead sits between two tendons, a pressure point which is supposed to aid nausea. I originally got them when I went on a cruise years ago for sea sickness but they helped last pregnancy. you have to keep them on for a few days before they take affect and don't work for everyone. they're not expensive though so worth a go

that's little one off to grandma's for the day so off into the sheep pens I go. it's a beautiful frosty day here. have a good one ladies

Yes, my teeth feel funny as well. And I have a headache too... in fact my whole body is aching today! It is going to be a long day at work... Just hoping DD is good to mummy when I get home! x

I'm so annoyed about this pain. Nobody is taking me seriously, I've spoken to my cousin and she said nothing they can do if I'm losing the baby and that maybe I have a low pain threshold. The doctors have said just wait and see what happens.

I get all of that, but what am I supposed to do in the meantime when I'm crying because of the pain?! I give up :( nobody is bothered about the pain, but they can't feel it. If only I could make a doctor feel what the pain is and then they might do something :(

I am very sorry you are left to feel this way :( Are you taking anything for it? Do normal painkillers help? x

My God Im exhausted. DD liked the fireworks for all of 2 minutes. Took 30 minutes to get parked. Watched literally 2 minutes and she told me she was tired and "lets just go home mummy". Took 45 minutes to get home out of the traffic. Thanks for that love (!)

Haha how nice of your DD :D Traffivlc and parking is the very reason we stayed home. DD watched fireworks through the window and was bouncing with excitemement. We will take her to next display so probably New Year x

You're smarter than me. She watched other fireworks in the car and couldn't wait to go. But when we got there she was apparently over it  I'm afraid new year will be from the window lol.

Have you thought of how youre going to be with 2? How different it will be? Xx

JemRose you're really having a hard time of it. I don't think You'll lose the baby hun, I think it's just the stretching. It can be bad for some. Remember I said your uterus almost doubles by 7 weeks, that's a lot of stretching. Hopefully it won't last much longer but I'm sorry it's so bad for you. I remember feeling like it was inbearable but it eased by 6 weeks. You can take paracetamol I've never heard of trying to overcome it yourself. Pain is pain hun. Try some to see if it eases Xx

PeanutButter happy 6 weeks!!

Thank you, I've been too worried to take Paracetamol, but nice to know I can take it! I hope it stops soon too, I don't know whether to go A&E or what. But I'm so not happy to wait until the beginning of December to see a midwife! x

Honestly I try not to! I really find it hard to imagine trying to split my time between a newborn and a toddler. DD is used to always having 100% of my attention and it is very very likely that the new baby's need will come first in the first few weeks. I am trying to stay positive, what will be will be. We will have daddy with us for the 1st 2 weeks and I am hoping my mum comes for 2 weeks after daddy is back to work. Then maybe I can get my aunt to stay for another 2 weeks haha! It will work out somehow.

We will probably get a travel cot with a raised base and changing unit on for the living room. That way DD won't be able to touch him/her without our supervision.

The thing that worries me most is sleeping arrangement. DD and I are still co-sleeping. I guess daddy will have to take over but he is normally not back from work until 10pm which means I will have a newborn and a toddler to feed, bath and prep for bed. I guess may all end up sleeping together for a few hours fun fun fun :D

How about you??

Ffs it won't let me quote.

JemRose paracetamol is fine. Just stick to low dose and don't take for a long time. I was afraid to take anything in pregnancy until I got bad tonsillitis and the doc was like you better take them for the infection/temp lol and i gave in. Allergic to penicillin and asthmatic so doc I was out of options with me being pregnant aside from paracetamol lol.

You could phone 111 and see what their advice is if you're worried. The NHS advice is to phone doc/midwife before taking anything anyway . Going to a&e outright you'll end up there for hours and they'll prob sent you home anyway hun. I still think you're okay if it helps Xx
