**** july mummies 2018 *****

Have a look on New Look flowerbomb, some nice ones on there. but know what you mean about everything being stripy lol x

I've just booked in to have my flu jab on Friday, I've not had it yet and it's been playing on my mind with whats in the news lately about this flu spreading from australia.
I've googled so many times if its safe to have it lol.....my mind goes into panic mode with anything lol.

I haven't had mine yet and the midwife hasn't mentioned anything. ive got my scan on Thursday so ill speak to the midwife then about having it

Had she not? Mine offered it me on my booking in appointment but I said I'd think about it.
I keep reading stories about what can happen if you get flu and it scares me!

Katybaby, you should get a self referral to a local physio now you're pregnant. I see mine for the first time on Thursday and honestly, I really hope she can help sort me out as my back troubles are really starting to affect me now. Granted, there are underlying issues, but if you're feeling discomfort like that this early on, I do think you should speak to your midwife and get physio started. just try a normal pillow between the knees and one behind your back for now to see if it does help. If it does, go and buy a pregnancy pillow. I do feel for you though. I'm lucky in that it is bed that eases my back/leg troubles, just the other 17-18 hours a day that I struggle with, minus the odd nap, lol.

Fingers crossed you can find a way to ease it though.

Jemrose, will you go back to the GP? You probably should if the antibiotics haven't sorted it. Ideally, you should be symptom free before the end of the course, so each day you're not taking AB's while you still have symptoms, it could be getting worse. I'd definitely give them a call.

I can't believe I'll be officially 14 weeks tomorrow. It's a real milestone for me as it was 14 weeks that I had a D&C when I was 26, for a baby that was never going to mature to term. Things do happen for a reason and I'm very glad I didn't have that partner as the father of my child, but it's always been on my mind, so to get past 14 weeks will be huge for me.

Hope you all have a lovely day xxx

That’s a good idea about the physio... I was surprised it started so early too.

So happy for you reaching 14 weeks! It’s a huge milestone for you after what’s happened. It’s gone surprisingly quickly so far

So I have been feeling so rotten at work today that I cba to work, so looking at maternity clothes sales online. £31 spent in New Look on 2 dresses, 3 tops and a skirt - I call that a bargain! And some £9 jeans reduced from £35 in Mothercare. Very happy :D

Amazing bargains!!! :D I’ve been looking at maternity clothes but a bit cautious with it being my first I don’t really know what I need or when to get things...

No she didn't mention anything. I'll bring it up on Thursday and see what they say.

Anybody else has no appetite?I honestly could go hours without eating and drinking and it has nothing to do with nausea... x

I had mine the same time as my booking as that's how the appointment worked out. Flu pregnant is so scary so I'd go for it if they're still doing it. I know it can be nerve wracking deciding what to do when pregnant, but if it helps I get it every year with no side effects at all. I had it when I was about 6 months along with dd and it was fine too xx

Me, but mine is nausea induced today. HUGE appetite yesterday and Dan took me for an Indian...I absolutely stuffed myself silly, just couldn't stop eating, lol.

Today, I have managed two potato cakes, some crisps and two pieces of toblerone. Need to eat something so will see if I can face some smash or something really plain.

This really sucks. I was the same with DD. I should have added that loss of apetite does not include junk food, I have no problem eating that!!! :/ x

Well then, snap, lol.

Oh, Mariaisabella....great news. Congrats xxx

Back to work today...so can't be bothered even tho it is only for 3 days!

Scan tomorrow, can't wait to see my baby but I am also a little nervous, hope all is fine

OH is on annual leave for a week so that means extra help in the evenings, quite happy about that! Especially that I still feel rather tired x

just got Harmony results. All good and having a boy this time!! :)

That's good news! How do you know you're having a boy? is it from DNA testing or something? xx

Thanks. Yes, its a blood test where I think they test the DNA so its the earliest you can find out the sex. Its also very accurate for Downs Syndrome etc. Much more than NHS.

Finally have my dating scan today :)
Ooh I would love to know gender that early aha. Congrats on your boy :)
Happy 14 weeks and second trimester GG :) x
