I'm glad. I'm wondering when to talk to work about things, i don't think they'll be happy at all!!

On another note, does anyone have any recommendations for bras to sleep in? My boobs are just so sore I can't sleep and my normal bra has got too tight. I'm usually a H cup so hard to find comfortable bras anyway x

Dont have to tell work until 15 weeks so you could wait until youve past the 12th. Depends on your job. I will be telling my manager sooner cause I have to carry an alarm for certain people I work with incase they get violent so Ill need a risk assessment

Also soft bras/sports bras with no underwire. Marks and Spencer do great ones Im always getting them for clients at work from there xx

Thank you Just hard to get out of Christmas meals and drinks etc. without anyone knowing lol. I think I'll wait until my scan and let them know then. Hopefully my scan will be around Christmas.

I'd be really pissed if my hubby did that. I wouldnt speak to him for a while! I've not decided when we're telling people... I wanna wait till we know the gender but I'll be 13 weeks Xmas day so should have had scan soo might decide on Xmas eve lol.
Was in the hospital last night cos I had severe pain on my right side I couldnt deal with it! The pain calmed down by the time we got there so they said wait for my scan at 6 weeks x
Hope everyone is OK x

PB glad everything is okay!!

I keep getting pain as well, I'm a bit of a reading freak/worrier, so I've read up on everything. I think I've come to the conclusion that my pain is normal, but it's still so scary x

That would be amazing but I don't think they do appointments on Sundays I would be happy with one between 27-29 Dec but I realize how unlikely it is. We will probably both get them early Jan Eeeeeeek!!

Then gender scan week 17 and the big one at 20 and then a loooooooooooooong wait till I think week 36! x

You can get one from 16 weeks, that's what we had with DD (privet). 20 weeks is the anomaly scan (not sure if I got the name right) but they check for various things x

In Scotland they won't tell you at the 20 weeks scan what you are having, they are not allowed to x

I had gender scan at 17 weeks. Then confirmed on the 20 week scan. LMAO it's only 3 weeks but goddd the impatience is unbearable aha.

My early scan is on Wednesday I'll be 6+3 eekk can't wait lol. Anyone else going for early scan?

Firstly, I'm really glad you're okay, sounds like that was a scary night for you.

Yes, I'm going for a scan at 7 weeks for my birthday. Can't wait. Been aittle crampy today but got 2-3 weeks on the digi last night, so gappy about that.

Just don't feel confident with cramps as they've always meant losses before. I'm very constipated though so could be that x

I really want an early scan. The cramping is so bad, but it's been every day and no blood. So I'm assuming it's normal, but it's such a worry. Plus I believe I'm further gone and my last period was a liar, but I don't know!!! haha

GG I had really bad constipation and bad cramps at beginning, I find eating warm weetabix helps me go now, if nothing helps get some lactalouse, my midwife told me a lot of cramping is down to the bowels and is normal but it is worrying she also told me to stay away from bananas as they can make you more constipated which shocked me as i used to have chopped banana on my breakfast before then, fab news on your 2-3 xx

Im very tempted to pay for a private early scan. I'm having very bad feeling about this pregnancy that I just cant shake its driving me insane. despite saying I'm not going to be worried. But Ive looked into it and I dont fancy having a vaginal scan tbh x

I'm confused at your scan times ladies. Are you having a private gender scan if your having it before 20 weeks? I got my gender at my NHS 20 week.

My OHs cousin had loads of private scans ( she had 2 twin losses, 2 single losses before 25) She paid for a 17 week gender scan and found out it was a boy, then found out at her NHS 20 week it was actually a girl lol. So I'm doubtful about going in early for a private gender haha.

But very tempted to have a private one before my 12 week cause Im feeling really funny about this pregnancy right now.

Also for you ladies with constipation, Prune Juice was my best friend last time. It. Works. Wonders!! Drink drink drink and I swear it works lol x

I think NHS wise, from what I've learnt along the way working in Obs & Gynae. You have a dating scan at 12 weeks, then another scan at 20 weeks where you can find the gender and they do all the testing etc.

But I might be completely wrong as I actually have no clue haha x
