**** july mummies 2018 *****

sorry so many of you are having difficult days, family and work can be havoc

shanivy I'd just refuse to do it. there's no way I'd work Christmas day with my lo at home no chance. I used to work Christmases before I had her as I always feel its more important for people with children to be at home but there's no way I'd do a job like that now. my family comes first

well I've told DD our news she was very excited, for all of 3 minutes before she started talking about tractors haha but she can't wait to read stories to her sibling. got my 20 week scan date today to, 5th Feb at 9am. already can't wait to find out

Awww yay I'm glad it went well and she was excited hehe at least she didn't cry or freak out haha xx

Just back from Drs. I went in with stomach pain, had for weeks. He was worried about baby so tried to listen to heartbeat, said he should
e able to hear it at this point ... Couldn't get one, so he's sending me for an emergency scan on Monday. Tried to get me in tonight but couldn't. So yay a whole weekend of wondering if my baby is alive.

Aw hun its neverending. Stay positive the midwives don't try for a heartbeat for a few weeks baby is tiny and wriggly. hugs. what about taking yourself to a&e and saying you've had bleeding to try get an emergency scan? i know its wrong but they've left you all weekend. i'm positive for you anyway xxx

Omg I'm so sorry! Big hugs! That is ridiculous that they would leave you like this over the whole weekend! Have they really no awareness of the fact that the stress of this could affect the baby too!? And for yourself! I'm so so sorry xx

LuckyLaura that's definitely not on at all. Any of it! She certainly had no right to announce anything that wasn't hers to announce. And her comments are outrageous hun. I'm sorry you're dealing with that but I'm glad to hear your hubby is a good support for you :hugs: xx
Thank you I dont mean to come on here and moan but my hubby gets really stressed out when he hears stuff happening like that. He gets frustrated that he can't really say what he really thinks cuz he wants to try keep a relationship with his in laws and also we are living in their house. They wouldn't cast us out but it would be awful to have that atmosphere... Xx

Have you seen us? Moaning is fine here honestly lol. It must be hard for both of you. I'm sure he hates seeing you dealing with this too. Will you be able to move out beforehand baby comes? I had to live with my in laws for 2 months when dd was one. I understand how difficult that must be right now. You definitely deserve better from your family, living in their house doesn't give them the automatic right to say and do whatever xx
Probably not :( it's a long story but we just came out of the worst 2 years of our lives and were rebuilding our lives after having been forced to live apart for 1 year of that. We are halfway through clearing our mountain of debt and have made a start on a house deposit which is about £1k so very little still. We decided to start ttc thinkin it would take ages and we also were hoping to be ahead financially than we are. We had a wee plan to follow jut had some unexpected bills for the car and other stuff. Xx

try to stay positive I know that's hard. to be honest I'm really surprised the GP tried to listen at this stage it's very early. even at 16 weeks my MW was like "I'm going to try but it may be too early to hear a HB"

I hope Monday comes around quickly for you

it's funny my midwife said at booking "you'll have your scan and all being well then you go to maternity for your bloods and then get your 20 week scan date" and I kinda thought what? no surely I'll not get it there and then, I had to wait for a letter last time so I'm very chuffed. hoping I'll be able to catch the tale end of the sales to

Thanks ladies.
Gonna try my own Doppler when I get home. Pretty sure I felt movement again yday. When a Dr puts that in your head though kinda just makes you go numb. Didn't cry in the Drs office tho thank god. Hubby's getting us a Chinese to make me feel better.
I'll catch up soon, just feel to shit atm xx

Sounds tough hun. :hugs: Hopefully things start to pick up soon with the baba on the way. Cant help it when unexpected bills etc happen. I really hope it gets a little easier for you living there too. Maybe when baby arrives their attitudes will change too xx

Okie doke hun. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. Honestly GPs are the fucking worst when it comes to pregnancy. Take care for now and dont stress yourself out with that doppler xxx

Bless you. It seems really early to me for a GP to be so certain he would hear t so try not to worry too much - easier said than done I know...

Totally understandable but really don't worry that the GP couldn't hear anything. I asked my friend who is a GP, trained as an anaesthetist and did gyn specialism. She said it's bonkers to try to hear it at this stage unless it's as part of an ultrasound.

So, please, as hard as it is, try not to worry. I kind of agree with just going to A&E as well. Xx

This. Its ridiculous that he's worried you like that and made you wait until monday after all that. I've been to see the doc before pregnant and they have actually had to get a medical textbook out. I feel like he's been very irresponsible here. If you're still worried, which I'm sure you are, and trying with the doppler honestly go in just to get peace of mind :hugs: xx

morning ladies

my 12 weeks scan today went Great! baby was very lazy lying on it's back twirling it's fingers around. she's dated me at 12+4 which is great as I had 12+2 so pretty much bang on. and the NT measurement was 1.5 which is a relief.

I haven't been able to upload a picture with this useless phone but we got some beautiful ones. I'll maybe try with the laptop later.

just about to pick up DD and tell her the news over a pub lunch.

fantastic news, glad it went well

I'm sure everything will be fine, try not to worry, easier said then done I know. big hugs

Hope everything is okay PB. Don't panic too much, I agree with what everyone else says the GP might not be able to hear heartbeat yet. Not nice having to wait for so long over the weekend :( xx

Burgers are going well, I sold out tonight and a load of other locals saw them being served and asked what hours I have the kitchen open over Christmas :)

PB, my friend got back to me again tonight to say, "what the fuck was a GP doing trying to listen to a heartbeat at that stage anyway? Tell your friend to really not worry at all and to report the twat that's worried her. There's always a little risk if there has been cramping but with no bleeding, it's probably all absolutely fine"

Hope that helps you over the weekend. I think she's quite angry at your gp. Xx

it's great that you're doing so well in the pub GG; I'm sure if we all lived local we'd all be there haha

happy weekend ladies, hope you all have a nice one, any nice plans?

we're off to deliver Christmas cards and see family quite a bit of driving but it'll be nice. there's also a little water fall walk near one of the villages so we'll have a stroll with DD, she loves waterfalls and woodland walks.

I had a good sleep last night 9-630 but I'm still shattered. although thankfully so far I've not been sick this morning

Thanks gg :)

I did my Doppler this morning with a very full bladder, baby is right next to the placenta! No way would you hear it with no full bladder, well pretty sure it was the babys HB cos it disappeared after a few seconds. Feeling much better x
