January 2019 testing

Hello lovely,

Apologies, I'm new to this thread, are you saying your AF has arrived?

I totally get it, I remember the rollercoaster of emotions when trying for our first. I promise you there is light at the end of the tunnel. I would suggest 'forgetting' about it all for a couple of days, but I know that is near on impossible. I'm sorry, sending you lots of good vibes. It is so so hard, but when you do get your BFP, all of this heartache will melt away.

xx

hi thanks, i cannot wait for this to be over with, i am sooo glad that i will never have to do it again once ive had one! And yar, nah its not easy to just forget really :( i gotta call drs etc now and at same time im trying to keep cool and calm and emotionless but i cant not ahhh can get me crying again now. ridiculous hate hate hate! all this so so so much

I am sorry Kristen :-( have you called again? Do you think it might be possible that you ovulated later than you thought?
Not that this helps you - just sending big hugs - TTC is a big mind f**k!

X

possible cd:18 but thats by going by temps. i had a post o dip cd:16 , cd:15 blazing + opk and a v good positive 16 aswell by 18 had gone.
to try and justify my lateness i took all opk results off ff and it gave me cd:18 but second i put a + opk at day 15 it puts me straight back at 16. well its all over again. im going to try and call them again now. i have an appointment 4th feb but ideally sooner.

re: clearblue opks
When it detects a rise in your level of estrogen it displays High Fertility (flashing smiley face), and will continue to display High Fertility in the following days whilst it looks for your LH surge. When your LH surge is detected, the test displays Peak Fertility (static smiley face).
so, do you feel it is of the essence to know when estrogen is surging? for you personally? i figure a general cheap opk only captures the last part (static smiley).
i have tried clearblue before but part of me is intrigued to go there again, but im really not sure if its worth it! im not sure what it will achieve?
If i go for SMEP this month, and opk test 10+ what do i achieve seeing a flashy smily vs a nothing? i hope you get what i mean :)
im just tearing head up about whats best way to go..
No it doesn't bother me personally to know of an estrogen surge but as previously said the cheapie opk's dont work for me. I never get a blazing positive so never sure when exactly that i ovulate so the clear blues work much better for me. I like that the flashing smiley means i am in my fertile window and ovulation will happen soon and also like the fact i only have to use the once a day with fmu.
Its not good for me to use the cheapies 3 times a day and stop my drink intake.

I have zero idea, I'm only on cycle day 12 but I had a left side pain on CD5 so if for some miracle I did ovulate I imagine I'm 7dpo if any dpo. x

Will just be repeating what Char said, although if it was CD12, i personally would only be about to ovulate  do you know roughly how long your cycles are?x

Guys , should i either invest in some clearblue opks just for sake of it and why not for a cycle again or buy some coq10 supplement?
I do get + opks with the cheapies at fmu i add, i dunno wot i expect cb to do differently tbh..?
Very torn as been told if is egg quality issues coq10 cant help alone anyway..
Is there anyway at all naturally of cleaning up egg quality or unblocking tubes (if issue). But to add to this, wouldnt with tube blockage you notice this with eggs getting stuck and stuck etc? I might sound daft but?

Do you have any reason to think you might have egg quality issues? How long have you been trying x

Thank you for the welcome!

Ok here goes...
First two pics from last night.
Following two this morning. I don't know if the two last night were a fluke. xx

I can see a line on the top one but it does seem early to get a line.

Are the top and third pic tests from the Co-op? I have used them and always get a line on them - they seem notorious for getting evaps!

I am trying again on Saturday - when are you trying?! Exciting :D

This is the thing, I've not had a proper AF yet, just the withdrawal, and that stopped CD3. I had endometrial tissue removed before my BFP last year so might be that, but equally, I could have ovulated straight after the withdrawal. or I could be seeing things and I'm ovulating now. My cycles are pretty regular when I'm not on the pill. :) x

YES. Bloody coop. Who knows... I don't know if i can hold out. I just want to know. Might go get some tests from superdrug now. I did not miss this insane level of psycho-ism! x

I would definitely stock up on some more tests for in a few days time.
FRER are probably the most sensitive and if you don't have a blazing on that then i am doubtful you will get them on another brand.
I know its hard but definitely hold out because if you are only 7dpo then it wont show for another few days. xx

technically im now cycle 14 (but i had no idea what i was doing December 2017 none at all plus i was getting married Dec 2017 and not sure we tried adequately lets just say we didnt dtd a lot on our honeymoon probably not as much as normal people), i dont have any idea what it is at all. people say could be blocked tubes stopping sperm getting there but to me if sperm cant get there how does an egg get down then? wouldnt if you ovulated monthly you end up with almost a queue of eggs stuck? (if i make sense at all).
his sperm tests have always come back good, at home ones, so making me think its me. i dont have a problem with fsh as i done that test atleast but theres no other ones i can do at home that i can see anyway :(
only thing i can think of is either his sperm isnt getting there at all cause of my cm..
or, my eggs are crap!

*i also wish i had a higher sex drive i have none! like the mention of my honeymoon above is an example where i just didnt wanna.. didnt even on wedding night.. (embarrasing to admit actually haha)
i dunno if there is somit wrong with me for not wanting to..

But over the 14 cycles i have only had 1 anovulatory that was april 2018 and im so convinced was due to me taking a pregnancy sup' .. i know i sound stupid but honest it messed me up a lot, also in 2ww i had symptoms like youd never believe super awful awful! and reading reviews realised it also messed peoples cycle up, dried up cm and gave them pg. symptoms.

yeh i can see appeal of knowing your bodys ramping up to O tho.
i personally also couldnt see a positive on my 2pm etc opks so i also use fmu for cheapies
i just dont see how a cheapie test fmu would operate different to a clearblue one? god i wish i could be stupid with money and buy both for one month just to see.! problem is we have a lot of saving to do, and i just spent £40 on supplements already.. but i am sorely tempted to.. should i?

I got an IC positive on the same day this month with both fmu and 6pm wee with no attention paid to drinking levels - they were identical.

I agree how can it read it differently - they all look for LH at a certain level!

Well i don't have loads of money but TTC is important to me so i make cut backs elsewhere so i can justify buying products that work best for me. I'm not judging anyone for not being able to afford the more expensive opks but i also would't judge someone for spending thousands if that's what made them feel like they had a better chance. This is what works for me so this is why i use the Clear Blues rather than the cheapies.

For me the line on the cheapies just dont ever go as dark or darker than the control line so it causes me stress. The Clear Blue basically give you a yes or a no and this is why i find it works better for me. I'm not saying there is any difference in how they read the LH surge x

oh yeah i see what you mean dont worry. :)
i mean as in we probably have ivf to pay for .. £8000 basically so i am worried to waste money potentially but also what if it isnt a waste and helps? minds so torn over it all

i mean ive even looked at Stork for this month.. if it wernt for poor reviews, id be paying for it.

Nothing wrong with it at all, i am exactly the same, zero sex drive! In all honesty - I would rather be going to sleep then getting down to it  i have been with my partner 8 year so that might be why lol.

I am now basically 5 months pregnant and havent dtd since we found out, which doesnt bother me in the slightest  and i dont care to admit it, even my friends know and we all joke about it. My husband doesnt seem to be 'that' bothered by it either, so i am not worried, but when you are ttc it is rather annoying and sex does feel forced, but you have a goal at the end of the day x

I am now bascially 5 months pregnant and havent dtd since we found out, which doesnt bother me in the slightest  My husband doesnt seem to be 'that' bothered by it either, so i am not worried, but when you are ttc it is rather annoying and sex does feel forced, but you have a goal at the end of the day x

aint that right tho :p haha i just dont know why we had sex in first place. last year feels it only for 1 thing like i cant even remember doing it just cause..

he has higher sex drive then me, but hes not super on it.. like we did do it saturday but that was cause i had matalic cm and i wanted to attempt to force af to come on faster.

we been together 7 years this year, we got married end 2017.

I caved. I'm not doing it again now. I'll just wait patiently for AF.

Your eggs just disintegrate and disappear with 24 hours of being released Kristen, so there won’t be a queue of them stuck in your tubes as they simple don’t last long at all, if that makes sense, best thing for you to do is to go to your docs appointment for the fertility tests (both you and your OH), and be as healthy as you can be with your diet, exercise, keep a healthy bmi and keep with the supplements, keep dtd at the right time, hope you get your bfp soon x
