Thank you my love. No never had a cycle this long before but think it all boils down to the CP last cycle. Maybe I just didn’t ovulate at all this cycle. Who knows but the sooner af arrives the better so I can hope for a positive cycle next time x

I know how you feel! I felt like that every month thats why I am determined to bd as much as possible this cycle! I am only on cd9 and already bd a lot just in case of an early ovulation It also works to keep bd even if you think you have ovulated already, Ive heard of many cases where women got pregnant right before their period was due.. so just think positive and keep going xxx

haha yeh. its weird tho because we have actually bd 3 days in a row, my dh cant do more then 2 usually.. we did 2 natural tries and 1 last night where i just really wanted to try a injected insemination one! my opks are now negative, still a hint of a line but negative! so usually that means i have ovulated and they started to fade yesterday. also temperature has gone up to my post o (give or take) temps. i just was a bit of a note freak this month so after every try id write down if i felt postive or negative about the try and why..

is it normal for stuff to leak out after?

and in my injected insemination one yesterday we only got 1mm of sperm and i didnt wait for it to liquify etc.. so feels like thats just a massive waste/mess up

I never tried the injection thing so I wouldnt know much about it, however it sounds like you've done a lot of bd so shouldnt worry!
I think the sperm leaks out in not fertile period, so the cervix is open.. if it's fertile then the cervix "takes" the sperm and closes to keep it there So maybe keep bd no matter the odds and what the opks tell u.. there is a lot of unexplained stories women got pregnant even though they were "not supposed to" ovulate at that time! xxx

I'm no expert, but I've noticed that I am leaking on my not fertile window and not leaking on my fertile window... but Ive also heard that it could mean that there was more than enough of sperm and leakage is rly nothing to worry about.. so don't take my opinion too serious, I am only speaking from what I have noticed in me xxx

Thanks for advice any advice / input is good everyone experiences different things.. i did just have a google and it said there that if a lot ejaculated more leakage tbh this would make most sense.. as before +opk try we abstained 2-3 days and he did produce a lot .. 2nd day was still a bit but not as much and 3rd was naff as always is with him after too much releasing..

out of very random interest does anyone know how long sperm survives once it has been 'deposited' i mean the stuff that doesnt instantly go up the cervix but perhaps does later? i know its a very random question but i just wondered

As far as I believe if it doesn’t enter the cervix it doesn’t survive. It will just eventually fall out of you. Correct me if I am wrong not ladies.

Yea i think you are right Char, i would imagine its as good as dead when it leaves it favored habitat.....i think.

When my oh pulled out there was pretty much leakag most of the time, i would instantly cup down there, in the hope it would keep the swimmers in and we might have a mega athlete among them - it did the job either way. He also held my ankles and gave me a good shake, just for good measure x

Re: survival if not instantly up cervix it seems so weird this would be case and that some wouldnt find entrance quite as instantly as others but would eventually

I caved and just took a test (because I could barely sleep last night just a late night and actually slept a lot in a row I drink a ton of water and pee a lot normally I admit it lol.

I prefer it if we DTD in the evening because I then try to not go to the loo before I sleep so it can roll around up there all night although I often wake up feeling like I’ve wet myself when it does eventually come out haha.

Sorry the 2nd line isn’t more visible @chattychar1990 a good idea to keep testing though because you never know. One weird cycle for you or what?!?

I also always get leakage, I alway run to the toilet quickly afterwards, I don’t sit there with my legs up or anything! We have conceived three times so obviously doesn’t matter too much xx

haha.. yes it does make me laugh you would never really talk about this in public would you? like this couple i spoke to about how they conceived , it felt really awkward and i felt i couldnt go to to much detali

re leg shaking.. yep! honest on opk + day 1 dh genuinely held my legs up and got fed up after 5 mins and shook them like get going you little b-s did make me laugh tho.. oh and to make it better we saw new years day in / eve out doing this so was fun
