Thanks hunni but I think it’s safe to say it’s af as always , I think hsg test must have effected my cycle and it’s just spotting way early pre af

I understand you don't want to be hopeful. Still, if you saw IB at 8dpo, you may have implanted that day or even the day before. HCG doubles every 48-72 hours. So even if you implanted at 7dpo, your HCG could just be 1, and then if it doubles every 48 hours:

9dpo - HCG 2
11 dpo- 4
13 dpo - 8
15 dpo - 16

and that's IF you double in just 48 hours. If it's every 72 hours, it would be:

10 dpo - 2
13 dpo - 4
16 dpo - 8

and so on.

Most ICs will only show a positive with an hcg of 25. So if you're at a 2-4 (which would still be normal at this stage) there's no way you'd get a positive, even on the most sensitive test.

If it really is af one positive for next cycle is knowing your tubes are completely clear
Some say even if they appear clear the dye dusts the 'cobwebs' away and some people will catch within the next few cycles

Sorry for the girls that have got af! The sucks!
I'm due on on 5 days and have nothing symptom wise, am itching to test but I'm going to leave it this month as I'm 99% possitive (in my sane mind) that af is coming on the 24th/25th.
I'm roughly 8dpo going on last months cycle!

AF is now 4 days late, got a BFN yesterday, OH asked me to hold off on doing any more testing til Sunday so I’m going to respect his wishes and hold off testing again until then. Hoping stays away. Although it’s really annoying to not have AF and still get BFNs

Sorry Moomin, I’ve had more brown dc it’s got darker and I’ve mild cramping on and off so af will be here tmrw no doubt, just never had brown dc for 4 days but I suspect it’s the hsg test mucking my cycle up. I was told on day of my hsg that I was just about to ovulate so we went home and dtd but prob was just too late or whatever the reason Is I can’t get preggers is. I am still so thirsty and mouth dry and had loads of sensations this cycle so who knows what that is.

I have my next appointment on 30th too. I am hoping they will out us on ivf waiting list on that appt. I read brown spotting before af can be a progesterone problem that the level drops too soon?My progesterone level was taken on day 23 due to day 21 falling on bank holiday wknd and was still 44 so not sure. I have so many questions to ask but I don’t think they can answer them. I am worried I am causing some sort of phantom pregnancy symptoms cos I want it so bad. I am so done. I had a melt down last night about moving to this big house and countryside’s for a family and if we can’t have a family why would a couple like like this. 3 neighbours have all just had babies I am finding it hard being in work around a pregnant colleague and 1 colleague is on mat leave due back in summer and then more baby talk. I literally feel like a man going to have a melt down in work with all the baby chat.

For ivf how much time do you take off...is it like intense for a whole cycle following ovulation, scans injections etc, do most ppl take the whole time off.? Do you need annual leave to cover it or is it given on Nhs if you work for them? I’m worried I won’t have enough annual leave if it happens this annual leave entitlement.

Your temps are really similar to me! I am thinking of doing it tomorrow morning and then keeping another test until after AF is due.

Thanks Millie hunni, The brown dc is getting darker on wiping and I have mild cramping on and off now which I didn’t have so it must be af on her evil broomstick. Not even this snow is stopping her this wknd.

I hope your feeling positive and happy for your fet. Really hoping and wishing it all works out for you guys. I have my next appt on 30th so hoping they put us on ivf waiting list and then at least this hear5 break month after month will soon lead to a BFP. I was hoping to be pregnant by April I have this feeling about this time frame and I don’t know why but I am hoping I don’t get to May and we are still in same boat but if we are we just got to keep going.....and going.....and going. I honestly am finding it very tough when at comes I hit rock bottom and it takes me a few days to deal with it all never mind suffer the af and hormone crash. Oh well on a plus my skin looks great and it never does especially around af time.

Hey wolf I wondered where you'd been hiding. About 8dpo here I think. I have bad a day of heartburn and some cramps and heavy feeling in my uterus. I got a kinda whooshing feeling through it earlier too.
All in my head I imagine as 8dpo is a bit early. Tested with cheapie. Obviously bfn. Lol
