*** January 2017 Mummies ***

Quoting works so so with the app.

Tried to say we refer to it as "the VIP"

We haven't got a name for it yet, trying to remember if we had one with Leo or not, can't recall! It still seems too bizarre that there's a baby in there! X

We have a thing for giraffes (weird I know, hubs was trying to say I was tall when we were a new couple and instead said I was massive like a giraffe haha!) so we googled what a baby giraffe is and we call it calfy'! Xx

Hey girls how are we all? Random question, anyone get any aches / funny sensations in their lady bits now and again ?

I have also got a bit of a trapped nerve in my left butt check as well !

Hey! I've been so tired and nauseous most of the week. It's really getting me down, but I know it'll pass eventually. The food thing is also annoying, as I usually eat everything and anything, but now I'm so picky about what I can stomach (Hula Hoops and peanutbutter toast - very healthy)!

The amount of gas I am producing is embarrassing. I feel as though I'm making a significant contribution to greenhouse gases.

I get funny sensations in my uterus region! Like stretchy feelings, dull aches and slight cramping sometimes like if I sneeze hard. I feel a bit periody sometimes. Is that what you mean? xx

I have had that FTTBN usually high up, it was a sharp pain for a few days, bit concerning but there must be so much going on.

Oh no BlondeP, hope everything is ok.

I am finding it hard waiting for the scan to know that everything is still ok, it's weird that it's all going on invisibly and we just have to hope.

Sending you all the best wishes BlondeP xxxx
As for random pain- yes i have had quiye sharp pain very low down.. Comes on quickly and then disappears..

Oh BlondeP hope everything is ok when is your scan? Have you managed to get an early one?

Yes I think it's all the stretching and growing that's happening I'm sure they are making use of all the room they have

Last couple of days I've had a headache late afternoon and then poor hubby I've been falling asleep on him on the sofa in the evening lol

Blueflower I'm exactly the same especially when I feel well I worry that everything's going ok in there and we just have to trust our bodies and our babies! X

I was wondering just how tired everyone else is at the moment? I am only 8 weeks, but I have felt like a zombie for about two weeks. I really struggle to keep my eyes open in the day, and as soon as I get home from work or have the day off, I can barely get out of bed. Even standing up to cook a meal is really hard. Is this normal, or excessive? I am wondering about whether it's safe to try an iron supplement, as I guess I could be anemic.

Unfortunately I think being exhausted is normal. In my first pregnancy I couldn't get to bed quick enough.. Especially around 7-8 weeks. I actually felt like I must have some awful disease coz it couldn't be normal but it passed. I think it would be best not to take any supplements without seeing your mw/ doc.
This time round I am working less so I don't feel quite a crushed but I'm totally the same with cooking. Way too much effort and when I get really tired I start throwing up.
There is light at the end of the tunnel tho... I promise it won't last forever. Look after yourself xxxxx

Hope everything is ok at your scan BlondeP, keeping everything crossed for you. Xxx

Absolutely shattered today. Didn't manage to sleep at all last night as I was so sick. Low point was almost vomiting on the dog. I feel like I'm losing the plot a bit now with it all, struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm feeling exactly the same and also not sleeping/ feeling really sick a lot of the time. It's hard, because no one else can quite understand how rough it is at the time. I'm just trying to sleep it off as much as possible, which isn't easy when you gotta pee and eat every few hours! Hope things subside for you really soon xx

I have been feeling extra tired too, I have to make dinner as soon as I get home from work, make my lunch and do any other jobs before sitting down otherwise I just won'the be capable later!

Thanks ladies. Baby is ok and heart is beating away, apparently it's me that's the issue! I've got a graze up there somewhere and every time I do strenuous movement like run, dance or do the the deed I aggravate it so it bleeds :( :( :( I am so lucky to have such a brilliant local Women's & Childrens Unit though! I was fed tea & toast as I had to wait 3 hours to see the doctor and got a bit upset about it all! I never prepared myself for the anxiety and upset early pregnancy bleeding can cause xxxxx

Wonderful to hear that baby's ok but sorry about the bleeding, that must be so worrying.
