January 2017 mummies! **2nd Trimester.**

FBTTN8079 I am in Cambridge!

No sensitive downstairs for me, but lots of discharge..

I'm at my family home which is my favourite place to be! I love my parents' house and we live over an hour from them now so not so easy to just pop round like I used to.. In other news I know I am being utterly pathetic but i've just found out a family member is pregnant with her 3rd and due 5 days before us.. I don't know why but i'm so annoyed! She has 2 boys, aged 2 and 1 and she does nothing but moan about how hard being a mum is.. Everything is such a chore for her. I just think i've waited so long for my second and feel like she's stolen my sunshine a bit.. I'm not usually this petty - promise! Rant over :)

My lady bits get really sensitive FBTTN, I also feel like there's a weird pressure there sometimes? I make sure to use really gentle bodywash and wear cotton pants, other than that I haven't really found anything to help..

Ooh Laura I'm about 30 mins outside of Cambridge :)

Sorry I've been gone a few days - we went camping in Cromer which was lovely but I didn't realise how pregnant I am!! We did lots of walking and my hips were absolutely killing, I have to say it was such a relief to come home to my own bed.

Hope you're all doing well. Can you believe we're nearly halfway?!

Where are you Sprout?

Oh my goodness you are brave to be going camping! I've just got a memory foam mattress topper in because my hard mattress was knotting my back and neck up horribly with sleeping in awkward pregnant positions. Sleeping on my back has been out of bounds since about week 14 as it just feels uncomfortable to!

Near Newmarket :)

I didn't really think about what it would be like, so more stupid than brave! Thankfully I put down loads of duvets even while not pregnant and camping, so it wasn't too bad.

I've just ordered a cord tie, I hadn't heard of them at all last pregnancy, it's just a plaited thread that you get tightly tied around the cord, rather than the big plastic clamp which always seems so uncomfortable to me. Got mine from Etsy if anyone's interested :) I'm intrigued to see what the midwife thinks of the idea!

Hello all, I'm new here. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and my due date is Jan 24th. :)

Hi welcome Papermoon! Do you know what you're having yet?

Happy Sunday everyone. I will be slaving over a roast today, can't wait to eat it!

Hi Papermoon! I'm due the 29th so we're not too far off each other. I'm sat doing some work and then we have a family rounders tournament and bbq later. Roast sounds yum Laura, jealous! Cord tie sounds interesting Sprout I might look into that.. xx

Rhiandell how's the sickness these days?
Still pretty bad unfortunately. I'm managing with the pills, but as soon as I miss them or take them late, I get sick again (like 2:30 last night). But finally managed to get the doctor to prescribe more than one week. Midwife said to keep taking them as long as I need to.

Welcome! We're really close, my official due date is the 25th, but I'm having twins so they won't be later than the 11th.

I hate my username too. I thought it was just for login. Now I'm stuck with it.

I feel a bit sore and have a weird pressure down below also. Didn't have it at all with my last pregnancy. It sort of feels like I've had sex which was a bit rough ( I haven't lol)

On another note, how are everyone's bumps? Mine is huge!

I was out with friends for a meal on Saturday and an acquaintance came up to me and said congratulations and said I look amazing etc. then asked how far along I was, I said and she looked shocked. I think she thought I look amazing for 8/9 months, not 17/18 weeks. Ifeel embarrassed when people ask me how far gone I am. I have a wedding next weekend and I feel like people are going to assume I'm nearly due.
