January 2017 mummies! **2nd Trimester.**

Had our 24 week scan today! Both babies looking good, one weighing 1.7lb & the other 1.8lb! Twin 1 umbilical artery PI was 0.93 so the lower of the range they print, I know she struggled getting the reading because of positioning but no one was concerned about anything & everything else was spot on & it looks as though twin 1 placenta has moved away from the cervix :-) I never realised how much of a big day "V" day is until becoming pregnant, such a big milestone ! X

Oh I'm so happy for you Sarah! I can't wait for V Day!!!!! xxxxx

Thanks girls :-)

My bump yesterday, bit of a close up lol!

That's brilliant Sarah :) I had no idea what V day was I just had to google it! xx

I'm going to a breastfeeding workshop/class thing tonight. No idea what to expect but i'm really looking forward to it - I feel like i'm taking control of breastfeeding this time around! I want to be as prepared as possible.. ALSO, has anyone seen Bridget Jones yet?! I'm seeing it on Friday and literally cannot wait! xx

Ah hope it goes well Kate. In waiting to here back from the NCT about classes in my area.

Nope, seeing it next week I hope!!!

Morning all!

Hope the class goes well tonight Kate, let us know.

I'm 21 weeks today and thought it was time to share my very first bumpy picture. You'll see what I mean about it being pretty non-existent, but so many stretchy, achey pains yesterday that baby must be growing... at least I hope so!

Hi ladies! I have a lovely dress that I wondered if anyone wanted before I put it on Ebay? I bought it from Amazon for £14.99 a few weeks ago but the medium fits more like a size 10 than a 12 so I had to get the large! It cost too much to send back so I thought I'd sell it on. (Came from Asia which also explains the small fit!)

Never worn, only tried on once! Its a lovely flattering dress in a stretchy navy cotton, great for work or occasions, had lots of compliments on it. I was thinking £10 if I can post it as a 'large letter'! Or nearest offer!

Hi Ladies!!!

Hope you are all keeping well? Sorry I haven’t been posting but I do catch up and read whenever I can I’m living with my parents at the moment and the old internet and phone reception is horrendous!

Congrats to all you mummies that have hit Viability Day!! Me too last weekend… such a relief and baby has been really noticeably kicking me this week, so my anterior placenta must be smaller than bean now as last night it was like an entire limb kicked out :-)

I also got my last day in the Office 7th December! I can not wait my MAT cover has arrived already for training and is a nightmare... she's trying to show me up every given opportunity (and even creating some) and said she'd be a bit late as she is off on holiday tonight... 11:30am still no in!!! I've got a stinking cold this morning and I could have done with the help :-(

We went pram shopping at the weekend…. OH MY LORD?! I went in armed with a list, I thought I was prepared we had done loads of research got it down to a handful I had the which reviews for each, the deals locally, what each pram weighed and folded to what was included in the base price and what was additional…. And I came out COMPLETELY confused 3 hours later…. The nannies that came for additional opinions were absolutely no help and seemed to disappear off to look a cute clothes every five minutes and then got overly excited about a pram that had ski’s…. coz I need a buggy with ski’s in Billericay, Essex (UK) for daily life LOL…

we got it down to 2.. silver cross pioneer – looked like you’d spent £700, lovely chrome finish, off road tires as we do a lot of came with loads including a car seat and really cozy bedding, but a tad heavy for me.. and the bugaboo – bit more expensive, not a cozy but light and foam round where the feet go which I can see being knocked about..went home had a long chat.. decided on the Pioneer.. and then went to breakfast with our friends triumphant.. only for them to tell us of a design flaw FML… hahah..

SO back to mothercare…for another hour! and we look at the pioneer again, and yes because of the suspension on holes and lips of doors it does get stuck meaning you have to lift the front, and its heavy, my back plays up due to a car accident a few years ago so I saw this as a consideration when testing, but didn’t realize it would be over the tiniest bump.. and then we clock the Icandy – love the fold mechanism, no way will a kid of 6 fit properly, and it has the dreaded foam but it was so light for me but I don’t think it looks like the money they are asking if you get what I mean much lighter than the bugaboo and the fold can be done one handed

So now I’m completely confused and think maybe OH should just carry it everywhere instead LOL is anyone else finding this decision THIS hard?

Lovely bump Holding Thumbs!!

Robbda prams have been seriously stressing me out! I have my heart set on a cybex Priam but it's soooooo expensive! (£1,000++ ) so we are going to the mamas and papas outlet store to look at all of the prams there soon and if I don't find one then I'm not getting one, end of :''D

Hi Robda, your replacement sounds like a nightmare! Mine is lovely luckily.
That made me laugh about skis in Essex!
We are having a nightmare choosing prams too as there are only 4 twin ones, 2 don't fit through most doors, one doesn't let the babies lie flat and one has really narrow carrycots that look like luggage! (But does fit through doors!) We have looked in about 5 shops and spent hours on the internet.
I was on the phone to Mothercare, John Lewis & Babies R Us last night for ages asking where their big stores are then contacting the big stores to ask about their stock. Babies R Us were so unhelpful, I asked the woman which twin prams they had so we could come and try some but she wanted me to tell her a make and model so she could look it up! When I said we wanted to look at a selection she sounded really annoyed and put me on hold to the manager!

Hi Robbda yay for also reaching V day X

Your replacement sounds like a right nightmare ! At least you won't have to work with her for much longer lol!

Before we found out we were having twins I was set on the silver cross wayfarer Eton edition. But with two we've had to change that lol luckily we've been lucky and love our buggy. I've been more bedazzled and confused with car seats and things like what monitors we need to have ha ha ! There's so much to think of isn't there!

Lol is there seriously a pram with skis ?
Which mothercare are you going to? I found lakeside useless but I know it's a little further for you but Romford have just had their store all done up and now have tonnes of display buggies to look at. X

Thanks! Romford is quite far from Brighton but if there's lots we'll make the journey!
