I need some advice girls. I've had severe headaches for quite a while now. Originally I thought it was sinusitis, as it followed on my cold and I was pretty stuffed for a while. But that seems to have cleared up now, no mucus and only stuffy nose at bedtime which is quite normal for me.
I have no other symptoms of pre-eclampsia, so don't think it's that, even if everyone seems convinced I will get it because I'm fat (despite having no family history of high blood pressure whatsoever).
Seeing as I really don't like my midwife, I would rather not call her. So should I call the antenatal clinic, which I can probably easily get away with as expecting twins, or should I get a GP appointment to be checked for sinusitis?
And are there some risk factors I've missed that could lead to headaches?

I think this is a normal symptom of hormones unfortunately. I don't ever get headaches normally, but since pregnant, I get some horrendous tension ones which last for days. I've been taking small amounts of aspirin, which I'm meant to take anyway to prevent blood clots (like 1/4 of a 300mg pill, but I'll take 1/2 if needed). I find that sleep and aspirin help a lot. If you're still being sick regularly, it could be that you're a bit dehydrated and that won't be helping. Do you keep water down most of the time?
I imagine that if you call, they'll tell you to try some painkillers and then contact them again if it persists. When's your next appointment?
