Just a little get to know each other better thing.

I'll go first. I met Nick all the way back in 2003. I had gone away to Portugal during Easter with my family and on the way home I was hanging around Lisbon airport when I spotted this good looking guy sitting on one of the chairs by the window showing the planes. So I walked over and just very naturally commented on the plane next to the window, it was something stupid like strange to think that these big mental tubes fly through the sky. Really lame. Luckly he spoke english and we talked until my flight got last call. We exchanged numbers and then had a long distance romance before making it all offical when he was over in London to visit me

lol how sweet!! i met my OH at school, and we were terrors together getting in all sorts of trouble. i knew we liked eachother but we never really spoke after we left school, until about 3 years later, and hit it off with a bang!! lol x

Everyone will prob laugh at me!! I met Tim at mcdonnalds back in 2005! I was out with my friends decided to pop over to mcdonnalds to get something to eat, he was there with his friends and we got chatting and now 5 and a half years later I still can't get rid of him hehee still love him to bits though x x

I met my OH on the Internet. We started dating on valentines day last year and by the 2nd august I'd left my job and moved across the country to live with him! I love him to pieces and though we've been through rough times we've come through them and I wouldn't be without him!

I never did anything behind my ex's back, me and my OH were just friends for a while then i realised i had falling for him! Luckily id split with my ex and we started seeing each other.

Me and OH joined officer training on the same day, we were best friends for almost 3 years all the way through training (so he saw me in some right states!!) and then one day on a group skiing holiday we just started looking at each other differently and taking the risk on our friendship was the best thing I have ever done because I married my best friend

I meet OH at Young Farmers, i joined the local club and we hit it off straight away, 12 years later, and married for 4 years today. We where both young at the time and it was going to go one of two ways, grow out of each other or grow up together, well not sure if we have grown up, but we have grown together

I met Simon 8 years ago. Our mums went to the same school and the parents would socialise together when we were little. I don't remember Simon as a boy but he does remember me. Anyway, 8 yrs ago, I went to a do in a nightclub in Leeds and Simon was absolutely bladdered! He grabbed hold of me, asked me my name and where was I from cos he had seen me before. Then he held me in a headlock, started tappng on my teeth while declaring that i "had beautiful teeth...just like a horse!" he was totally sincere about it too! I slapped him then grabbed hold of him before he fell over lol! I stormed off to another part of the club in a huff.
It gets worse, oh yeah! His short term memory was gone. He would see me in various parts of the club and we had the exact same conversation again. Several times in fact. All me mates were laughing so hard!
when I saw him making a beeline for me for the 15th time that night. So I ended up saying "look, my name is vicky and yes you have seen me before and yes I have beautiful teeth like a horse, ok!?". Oh his face! He was flabbergasted at how I knew what he was going to ask me! Declared that I was a psychic and therefore the woman for him!

Took him 4 years of grovelling and apologising before I relented and agreed to give him a chance!

I met Chris at school when we were 14 at the time I was in a relationship that lasted 1yr and 9 months, We didn't get together until we went to college, at that point I had bumped into an old school friend of ours and he had invited me to go to the pub and meet up with the rest of our group from school. When I got there Chris had shot up to 5ft 11inch (from 5ft 2inches 7weeks ago at school!!!!) and had a girl with short green hair draped all over him, as soon as I saw him and her I got this intense feeling that I really didn't like this girl being all over him and I only stayed long enough to say hi to everyone because I wanted to punch her!! 3 months ish later they had split up and a big group of us went out to a local nightclub where he made a bet with one our mutual friends that i wouldn't be interested and the rest is history!! Roughly 8 weeks later I found out I was Pregnant with our eldest, we have now been together on and off for nearly 12 years and been very happily married for the last 8 of them XXXXX

I met my husband online. We sent weeks talking toneach other every day on msn and talking on the phone and when we finally met up we just clicked. It was great because I felt like we knew a lot about each other in a shorter space of time. We were also looking for the same thing, friendship and possibly more.

My husband was very shy and socially awkward when we met, and I had my confidence destroyed by two nasty violent relationships in succession.

We moved in together almost straight away and now we are married. We are such similar people, and he is most definitely my soul mate. Our families even come from the same town in Ireland so we have much in common too.

He emailed me first and then we exchenged MSN addresses and spoke every evening after work on MSN for about 6 weeks. We would have met alot soon but I was training hard for a half marathon.

9 months after meeting I moved in with him, we've been together almost 2 years and we're now TTC our 1st bubba!

Nik meet Vicky, Vicky meet Nik...... mortified I managed to say hello before running away!! Three months later I asked my mate for his number and now 8 years on we have our own house, got married and now trying for our first baby x

I met Mark in August 1997, he was a trade counter sales guy and I used to ring his place of work to sell emergency lighting. His mate Andy agreed to come to my 21st party and bring his mate Mark but they didnt show. So, I called on the Monday and gave Mark and earfull over not showing up only to find out there were two Mark's and I'd had a go at the wrong one, oops. Anyways, he asked me out, he lived 30 miles away so we met near his mum and dads, went bowling, I stayed over (was a good girl, had his bed, Mark was a perfect gentleman and slept on the floor).......we were engaged November 1997, married August 2000, had DS April 2006 and expecting DS no.2 in December.

We renewed our wedding vows 14th Feb 2010 (won a competition with BBC Radio Manchester to renew our vows with 50 other couples live on air!!) and just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.
Where does the time go!!!!

ps. Although we had both had previous relationships, we were still both virgins and there was no way we were waiting til our wedding night lol (thank god for the Kama Sutra

We only flirted that night (he wanted more tho). next few days i was of work but when i got back the diferent girls at work said that a big black bloke had been there 100000 times asking for me. i was still getting over my ex but thought Demba would make me think of something else and all he wanted was to get in my knicks. (i didnt let him tho as i enjoyed being taken out )
so we used eachothers and needed eachother but then we fell in love. took me 8 month to admitt i loved him tho.
so he was my rebound and i was just suppose to be another girl to shag, charming

I met my DH in his pub, which was at the top of my road and I had never been in it before my friend asked me to go there as her boyf was watching football so I turned up planning to leave after a while to meet a guy I was seeing, this guy then stood me up so I got drunk with my friend and she kept pointing out this quite blad bloke who was staring at me! we eventually got talking as a group and he was very sweet, but I left with my friends without getting his number then I when Iw as outside the pub I changed my mind and was about to give my number to his friend to pass on when he came running out the doors to do the exact same thing from the very next day we were inseperable felt like I had known him my whole life
