How are all you new mummies doing?

My mum has a really bad day! False accusations and a lot of crying about work - took me hours or get her from crying and shaking and when I got home at 5pm mark stopped me at the door and said they'd been an injury (I know it wasn't Luke because he was with me) it was my Virgin Mary statue... My late granda gave it to me when I made my first communion when I was 8... The cats knocked something off and her head smashed into 8
Pieces mark repaired t the best he could but it's got holes in it and I'm gutted it was my most prized possession I've had it for 22 years I know it doesn't seem a lot but I was really upset. The cats are on dry food and a 24hr cuddle and stroke ban!

Two scratches doesn't mean something bad has happened but his response is fucking annoying. I would definitely be texting to say that as he can't take her safety seriously and can't give answers about things in a grown up responsible manor you think it's best she doesn't sleepover for a while. Make sure you point out that you're not stopping him from seing her (he could use this against you) but that contact will have to be arranged during the day.

What you really nee to do (and probably would be if he was capable of behaving like an adult) is sit down together and sort out a schedule of visitation.

Oh and not to be awkward but is take poxtueeS of the scratches and send them
And tell him you want an answer as to why these scratches are on her legs.

Yeh I don't think he would ever harm Hayley deliberately...if i did she would never be allowed near him. But i expect a proper and adult response as to what happened. If he picked hayley up and she had any scratches i would say to him before he leaves, but so he's aware.

He's now finally told me he never knew about them.... how I do not know Theres been times ive accidentally scratched hayley if my nails are a little long or even ragged, but it disappears quickly. This scratch is still there. I changed her bum and she has poo on her foot, and her changing mat had poo on it too. He's now text me saying i was "neglect"ing hayley as i didnt give him nappies when he came and got her. He's refused to give me the huge box of pampers nappies, refused to contribute a penny to hayley, yet im expected to give him everything she needs when with him and at home with me. He's fucking ridiculous.

Annoys me even more as I bloody want him to spend time with Hayley (not too much time as It means I don't get to see her as much as i would like) but he takes her to other family members homes so he just doesnt give as shit about bonding with her. Thought a break up would make him miss her and actually want to sing, play, talk and have fun with her!!

Pampers are BOGOF in tesco ladies, 2 50 packs for £10. I'm gonna try them again cos I'm sick of Scarlett pooing out hers as soon as she is in car seat. It always comes out the sides and top of her nappies... Any tips on stopping this? x x

I have to make sure Thomas' legs are in the right position and really pull the nappy out so it's fully stretched so that to outer elastic fans out properly. Hen double check the top is tight enough after he's wiggles in it.
Doesn't always work though

I use Aldi nappies. I haven't had a poo leak for awhile, never had a wee leak. Only time I seem to get leaks is when his poo is runnier or there is a lot

Luke woke up at 70 with a blood curdling scream! We fed him and trying to settle him and he's calm but just won't sleep!

I've been wedding dress shopping today with my bestie for her wedding next year so jealous it will never happen for me I loved looking at the dresses! Macie been quite a good girl still been having to get up to her but has been settling back off again until around 7 better than being wide awake between 4 and 5! She is being a nightmare with her milk at the mo hardly taking any n it's a right fuss getting her to have it in sure it's her teeth poor baby!

Hopefully you'll at least get a long lie jojo! Aww poor macie! Have you given her anything for teething? I've finally found a teething toy that hayley actually likes! all the others have been too big for her to put in her mouth or just make her gag as too big in her mouth.

I appreciate all your comments, especially as my ex keeps basically turning on me and saying im the one in the wrong, but it's nice for reassurance that it's just him in the wrong. This whole breakup has been really tough on me, and I have been struggling. But I look at Hayley and im just so proud of her, couldnt ever imagine my life without her. Can't understand why he doesn't feel that way towards her. We were together for 5 years, planned a child and he said he would be there. He even said if i did get pregnant he would quit drinking, as i wouldnt drink at all. Should have known when he was drinking every week that he really wasn't interested...

My brothers partner had a child when they got together (she's now 9) and she said it takes her and her ex to make a Kayla...so I just keep reminding myself it takes me and craig to make Hayley. So without him i wouldn't have Hayley, so for that I would never change my past. Just wish i could change my present and my future. But I'll have my girl holding my hand the whole way through life

Jeez! Glad he's settled now. Hayley is sleeping next to me and she just woke and let out a big pained cry, turned her head and went back to sleep. Not sure if she maybe just had a wee bad dream or something as seems sound asleep now!

Luke had a terror one of he nights he was sleeping badly - we just went in and watched him so he didn't hurt himself, but hey say not to wake them or interact with them or pick them up because it makes them

It worried me because when I was a kid I used to have them all the time. I would just open my eyes and open my mouth and scream over and over for about 10 minutes then go back to sleep - I did it every night for fourteen months when I was three... They had me Investigated and everything and couldn't explain it. Even now I talk on my sleep and awtimws sit up and say things like "the monkey saw the cheese... THE CHEESE!" Then fall back down floppy and sleep. It's bizzare

My mum had to give up work for a bit. I once did it at a nap in nursery and they wouldn't have me back so she had to quit until I went to school. Eventually the screaming stopped completely when I was about 9 but left me with terrible gears of odd things if seen on my dreams like piers, canals, old fashioned toilets, copper pipes, underwater shipwrecks, lofts, floorboards and the inside of toilet cisterns. Odd huh?

I had night terrors too so abit worried that Thomas will get them. He's seemed to have had at least a couple of bad dreams. I eventually grew out of them when I was 6 but still occasionally talk in my sleep. I can also have full conversations with people and not remember and wake up undress or turn an alarm off, go back

I still remember some of my night terrors, bowling balls, phones ringing, wonky rooms like in Charlie and the chocolate factory, black and white floors and running away from something but never getting Any further away.

Sorry girls just trying to catch up. Kaedin that is shocking and worrying. Yep little ones get scratches etc but for him not to know she had them is worrying never mind the other stuff. Bless you Jojo I am pleased he has finally settled for you. Well Joseph really enjoyed his night with nana and grandad and we had a lovely night out although I was desperate to go up for him this morning. Hubby is off for 2 weeks so going to try and get things done at home and have a few days out too x
