How are all you new mummies doing?

Pampers are BOGOF in tesco ladies, 2 50 packs for £10. I'm gonna try them again cos I'm sick of Scarlett pooing out hers as soon as she is in car seat. It always comes out the sides and top of her nappies... Any tips on stopping this? x x

I have to make sure Thomas' legs are in the right position and really pull the nappy out so it's fully stretched so that to outer elastic fans out properly. Hen double check the top is tight enough after he's wiggles in it.

Doesn't always work though

I use Aldi nappies. I haven't had a poo leak for awhile, never had a wee leak. Only time I seem to get leaks is when his poo is runnier or there is a lot

Thanks pumpkin, I'll try anything if it saves her clothes and car seat! ;-) I'm having serious insomnia just now, I get to sleep fine but wake up constant and for long periods in the night. My mind just won't stop running! My mum is coming to see S for the first time in 3 weeks today (she lives 2 mins away but is faaaar to busy in her own life with her bf to see her granddaughter) I'm going to have it out with her about it cos I'm sick of it. I don't know any other grannies that go so long without as much as a text asking how they are!

aw Jen that's awful i hope you get sorted with her without a huge row. My mam rang everyday but my husbands parents have never seen their only grandchild. We fell out 3 years ago but they have never contacted us about the little one once xxx

I just don't understand it. How do they sleep at night? My mums just always been for herself and I just don't get it, why have kids? Most of the time I just think it's her missing out, not S, but this time is taking the p**s!

My mum gets withdrawal symptoms after a day of not seeing Thomas!

In other news, woke up to a solid poo in Thomas's nappy - arrrggghhh!

Not sure if that's normal cause of the purée he's now eating or he's constipated (he didn't poo yesterday but did a normal one the day before) it was brown!

Austin's poops have been like play dog since we started weaning but he doesn't seem to struggle the same passing then like when he was constipated. Sometimes the only way I can tell he's filled his nappy is because of the smell!

Defo not looking forward to they poos!! Yeah think most mums are like that Kathryn... Have to say it makes me slightly jealous! x

Ah that's not nice Jen :( I'd have it out with her too.. Hope your ok x

Stanley has had a weird couple of nights and I really can't work out what it is.. He keeps waking hourly not properly crying but as if something's wrong but still half asleep, I keep putting his dummy in when he does it but I'm not sure what it is, it's very frustrating :|

It can get slightly annoying when I don't get five minutes to myself but it's nice really.

The poo was much easier to clean up so ATM I'm not bothered about the change and he didn't seem to struggle

My mum always sees Macie and is the same has a breakdown if she goes a couple of days without seeing her but Petes mum don't give a shit she doesn't text or anything she saw her yesterday only because we happened to bump into her and Macie screamed at her so she's no Mardy grrrr does my head in!! Xxx

Oscars poohs have become more like human poo since weaning

Like play doh snails but he doesn't struggle to pass them and isn't in pain - from what I've read it's pretty normal so am not worried!

First house viewing tonight and it's not even on the market yet!

I'm sorry to hear that Jen, I dont understand it myself n hope u can have it out with her n sort Things out. Ny Mum wud defo of had withdrawal symptoms by then she can't go a few days n txs me every morn n Eve to see how we r. Even the mil sees him at least once a week n is always buying stuff for him.

Hope everyone's having a good day

Michelle.x

Lady's, when you all started weaning what was LO's head control like? Ruri is 17 weeks today, and definitely doesn't have a lot longer left before weaning but I just worry his head can still be a bit floppy? He hates tummy time!

Stanley is 17 weeks today and I've just started weaning but his head control is very good and doesn't go floppy anymore, not sure if that's any help! He's always had good head control from birth I've thought :) x

Then wait untill it's not :) it's important they hold their head :)

It does help thanks :) I feel like I'm constantly battling with OH and my family about weaning - everyone else knows better than me ;-) lol! Ruri's head control was amazing from birth but just every so often he gets lazy with it haha. Cheers Bex, I think I just needed someone else to reinforce what I've been saying to OH lol!

You'll know yourself when ready! Ignore everyone else!!

Wedding was awesome thanks stace! Really enjoyed ourselves! Nice to have some us time! Felt my stress levels return as soon as I picked Oscar up! He's such hard work these days- constantly crying, moaning , whinging, not sleeping etc - feel like smashing my face off a brick wall sometimes! He's not happy unless I'm holding him! No bumbo, jumperoo, play Matt, amount of toys or teddies will satisfy him! Grr

Thanks :)

Sounds like you needed a break! There's no worse feeling than that and then especially if someone else comes into the room and LO starts smiling like there's no tomorrow. Ruri will do nothing but gurn at me and then my mum or his dad will appear and he's the worlds happiest child!

Yes! I missed him so much though - but could have dropped him back later that day happily for another 10 hours sleep lol!!

Bex I no exactly how u feel! I bloody love her but sometimes the constant whinging drives u mad! All my friends babies are much more content and are happy to sit in chair etc not m my only god send ATM is the jumperoo lol x
