How are all you new mummies doing?

Bumpy bump!

Busy busy day in the life of us!!

Went out in Mother Nature! Petted goats, sat with chickens! Felt earth like haha!

Done jack all! Feeling extremely bloated :/ anyone any tips? Not eaten/drank anything different

Sounds crazy but stress makes me bloated, you've defo had that the last few days! Hope he had a better night x x

I never thought of that Jen! We've had 2 decent nights. Better than when he's not poorly actually! Probably go to shit tonight coz I'm back at work tomorrow lol xx

What do you all do with your hearing in winter? We just had a new control panel installed. The plumber was setting it all up and laughed at me when I said to just leave the heating on 24/7. He said most people turn their heating off at night! Is this true?

Depends on your boiler but it's actually more cost effective to have your heating on constant as turning on and off means the boiler has to work harder than just tickin over

We used to turn our heating down at night by a couple of degrees and then pop it up when we got in from work for a few
Hours then back down but never off and on etc

Well when I say off, I mean down to 14 degrees. May as well be off. Lol. Think I'll just leave it on for now and try dropping the temp when it's not so cold.

We're on a meter and we top up the same amount all year through so we build uk credit and don't have to worry about how muxh were putting the heating on, but we only have it on for a few hours a day. Once Luke is in bed and settled and warm it stays off until about lunchtime the next day, then it goes on for a few hours, then off then back on at 5:30 to heat up for bedtime. I can't stand a hot house.

I think cause I'm used to it always being warm, it's a bit of a shock to the system. Doesn't help the night we had it colder at night was the night Chris put Emma in her summer sleeping bag, and she leaked.

Why don't you hide the bag from him lol

I always put lukes clothes out for mark so he gets it right

We used to only have our heating on for a few hours in the evening, but now I'm home all day with the LO we have it on all day. It still goes off overnight though.

He would find it. I leave the winter bag over the side of the cot. To get the summer one he had to dig through Emma's old crib with old clothes in it. I have no idea how he has managed to do it twice now.

Ack, Isabelle has started grinding her teeth. Really worried she might damage them (I had to have to baby teeth removed due to grinding damage) :-(

It's on and off. Just started yesterday. OH can't stand the noise.

Perhaps it's a new trick she'll get bored of. Can you distract her when she does it so she stops?

We're trying to persuade her to chew her teethers instead, but without much success.

Our baby group are planning on making valentine cards next week. It hadn't even occurred to me to give OH one from the munchkin. Is that normal? Will you be giving your partners cards from the LOs? Are you expecting one from them yourself?

I would never send it from child to parent. Valentines day is a romantic occasion.

Yeah I'm not doing that, only do it for birthdays, Christmas and Father's Day etc..
