How are all you new mummies doing?

I'm excited :)

I'm off for a night out tonight. Mum is coming to babysit at 6pm and I'm going to see queen! So excited. On going back to mates hotel for a drink then off home. Exciting.

On the other news I got paid early last month and I now have £3.90 to last me until payday lol credit card binge it is then

Aw I'm the same jojo, i would rather get paid normally!

So jealous of queen - is it with Adam lambert? Loooove him!!

I'm gonna say girl too Bex!

So yesterday I went for an internal at my gps cause of all these sore tummy, dodgy period issues. Other than her finding red patches everywhere that she needs to look in to all was straight forward. Started to get a headache straight after, which by 6 last night was a migraine. I'm still in bed in the dark, but it's getting better. Then this morning I get massive bleeding too. Period not due for 2 weeks. Bit worried.

I just don't like that Adam lambert - queen is not queen without Freddie! I just can't get used to him singing and his makeup and generally his face makes me want to punch him hard? Haha

I duno... A girl would be nice as would be 1 of each? However it's all boys boys boys in our family so I reckon it may be another boy which would save me a fortune on clothes

If I were you Toria I'd ring your GP and mention that? I'd also demand to be referred to gyno to get checked over properly?

Have a nice evening though Jojo! That's what's credit cards are for x

Yeah I will once I can cope with talking. I can hear Emma crying through 2 doors and a whole floor, and it's sending sharp pains through my eyeballs.

I've got an internal scan Friday too, the. She is gonna collate the info and refer to gyno if need me. This has been going on for ages, so need it sorted. Need to know they've found why, or tell me it's just muscle pain etc so I can stop worrying.

My mum had 7 sisters and 2 brothers, my dad had 2 sisters. My brother has 3 sisters, his wife has 4 sisters and one brother, and yet they had 3 boys. So it can happen! :-)

I think Chris is figuring out how difficult it is looking after all the kids. Made him take the day off, he was panicking by 7:30 as he couldn't figure out how he was gonna get Maddie to school for 7:50 for gymnastics, feed Emma and get Jack to school for 8:30. I wake up to Emma screaming downstairs. Went down, and Chris had left to take Maddie to school (20 mins round trip). Jack was watching tv, Emma was in her highchair. Chris had made her toast and left her to it! Jack couldn't get her out as he's not tall enough, so he'd just turned the tv up! Then Chris gets home and wonders why he's getting a telling off. What an idiot!

So he then turns around, gets Emma in the pushchair and walks Jack back to school! When he gets home he tried to feed her breakfast, and was getting all worked up as he couldn't understand why she wouldn't eat. Duh, half her breakfast at 7:30 and the second half at 9. I wouldn't be hungry.

I usually get them all in the car, drop Maddie then leave Jack as soon as there's a teacher in the playground. Then home by 8:45 and feed Emma breakfast.

I love Adam lambert. I followed him around when he did his uk rue a few years ago and know a few people on LA who know him well, met him
A few times. He's a very talented singer and he's not trying to replace Freddie- I hunk Freddie would approve.

I'm a huge queen fan and a huge Adam fan so it's a great combo for me. I've seen him wih hen before in 2012 when they did some shows in London. I did the waiting out in the rain thing, but too old for all that now.

I'm just so excited to listen to Brian may live tonight more than anything. He's still phenomenal ... And i would climb him like a tree given the chance haha!

Sorry ur not feeling well toria :( I can't believe chris left her in the high chair!! Lol I hope you feel better and get some answers soon

My mum text this morning to say that my grandad has prostate cancer :( they've said it's small and they're not worried but he doesn't know much yet. My gran had breast cancer in 2012 and had to have a mastectomy and my grandad had a heart attack last year and has been having a lot of trouble medication over the last year, been a crap time for them lately. They live in wales and as such they haven't met Ryan yet (we live near Cambridge) so I'm feeling rather anxious about them meeting him sooner rather than later! Just not looking forward to the journey there! X

Think I've poked a hornets nest on the breastfeeding at 2 yrs thread. Bloody bugs me though when people boast about those things.

I'm sorry to hear that Mrs b I hope they can treat it quickly and effectively

Does my head in too pumpkin as long as our children are happy healthy and loved what does it matter?!! Because I have bf up at 6 weeks so many people look down there noses at me winds me up!!
Have a great night Jo Jo sounds fab I'm well jealous!
Sorry to hear about your grandad mrs b my grandad is 75 and has gone through radiotherapy for prostrate cancer n is all good now it's very common in older men but when something happens it does make u feel like u should see or spend more time with them I try to go to see my grandad once a week as he only lives 10 mins away and he's on his own he loves Macie to bits bet they will be over the moon to meet Ryan xxxx

Oh hope ur feeling better Toria men are useless think pete understands how much hard work it is now he has her every sat whilst I'm at work! Xxxx

With the BF stuff, it's always annoyed me, mainly because I just didn't produce any milk and therefore didn't have a choice. My other big annoyance is with the whole "oh wow, it's absolutely amazing you gave birth with no painkillers or anything", but no one ever says how amazing it is for someone to go through hours of labour and then have to go through an emergency c-sec or to not go through labour at all but have to have an emergency c-sec, like that isn't worthy of praise too. Childbirth as a whole is bloody tough, why do we insist on congratulating those who have a straightforward delivery but ignore those who go through the mill?

Prostate cancer is common in older men. My grandpa had it when he was in his 70's and he got past it and lived until he was 93. I know how nerve wracking and horrible these times are and your mind is always thinking worst case scenario.

Sorry to hear that Mrs b, I had some devastating news aswell my nan had cancer n they don't know how long she will live probably only weeks, she is in a care home with dementia n they r guna make her as comfortable as poss so she doesn't hq've to go hospital. She doesn't really understand bless her.

So a new life is growing n one ending seems so cruel.

Have a good night Jojo!

Kathryn, I didn't actually want to look at that post as I knew what was gonna happen. Just had to have a look :-/ I think it's fine if people want to continue with breast feeding. But hate it when they put people down who don't, or make out formula feeding is taking the easy way out.

Ella I'm the same with the lack of milk. I had no milk for 10 days with my first. After that it was a minimal amount and he fed for an hr every two hours. With my second it only took 3 days for my milk to come in, but supply was minimal so had to top up with formula. And with Emma my milk came in day two, but Emma was sucking out blood clots too and she was getting poisoned according to the GP. Poor thing lost so much weight cause she just spewed everything up for a week.

Awwww sad news mrs b. Hope it all gets sorted soon. Part of our reason for going back to NZ in March is to spend some time with my dad. He's 75 this year. He's really active for his age, but it's all catching up on him. He had a quadruple by pass about 6 months ago. His second! And had a mass removed from his liver in November. Thankfully not cancer.

So sorry for the sad news ladies :-(

Toria that sounds horrific, really hope your ok.

S had her EEG today and she was a wee star. It was near nap time so she was a bit fussy at first but sat back while the electrodes were on her head and was laughing when they did the flashing lights test. Results on thu so it's going to be a nerve wracking couple of days.

I haven't even looked at the thread, for much the same reasons. I had a tough time of it and would have loved to carry on, I'm very proud of myself for all they weeks of expressing I done! x

Thank you all :) it's good to hear of some success stories. They live in Swansea bex.

Michelle I'm sorry your family is going through that :( must be horrible xxx

The bf thing really grinds my gears, I beat myself up so much when I stopped, I only lasted ten days but he was so big and so hungry and by that point I hadn't slep for more than a couple of hours a night for two weeks and was literally losing my marbles, my midwife came to see me everyday for a week, I think her and mr b were both quite worried about what I might do :/ I don't see bottle feeding as the easy option at all, I know bf can be hard to establish but once u do, happy days! No sterilising no zombie walking to the kitchen in the middle of the night, no throwing milk out after 2hrs, no worrying about talking bottles/powder/water out with u! X

Aww poor S I hope everything is ok!
Oh Jen remember those bf days we were so down about it all it was horrendous I really didn't enjoy Macie as much as I should those first few weeks because of the bf drama it was horrendous I fern guilty for months after that I couldn't do it xxxx

I remember it well nat :-( I defo disnt enjoy my time with S as much as I should have because of it. Sounds terrible but next time I would give bf my hardest but if it didnt work I wouldn't express as long, if at all. Look how I'll S has been anyway!

10 days is a loooong time on no sleep and stress mrsb!!
