How are all you new mummies doing?

I'm going back to work at the start of feb working the same days! I wish I could do something else too! Sounds like it's worth you practicing as much as u can to try and make some extra money! My friend makes taggie blankets, she says they're really simple but a big seller :) xx

These are some of the dresses I've made so far.

They're so good dotty!!! You should defo get into making them! :) xx

Aw, thanks hun. I'm not a fan of pink for girls so struggle to find fun designs that I like. I'm hoping some other people feel the same. x

I'm sure they will! I have a friend who hates her LO wearing pink and she gets mistaken for a boy a lot because of what she sends up wearing! Lol

I keep meaning to say ladies, yesterday when in tesco I overheard two staff talking about what they were going to do next, and they were saying about needing to move stuff due to an upcoming baby event!

We got something rough from
Asda today about a baby event, they usually carry one from one another.

We've started putting like in tesco size 4 pull up pants and he's much easier at changing times now. So if they have an event I'm going to bulk buy some of them lol

We had a bad night with Emma too. Wouldn't be able to cope if I had to go to work too. Bad enough having to get the kids to school!

Are any of you using the Angelcare sound and movement monitor? We are,and the alarm is going off at least twice a night. Emma's always fine, just squished in a corner. But it's driving me around the bend! Chris ended up turning it off early this morning, then I had a panic when I woke and could hear her crying but not through the monitor.

I'm gonna change to pull ups too after my stockpile gets used.

Don't bother with it at all now!

I wonder if pull ups will be easier for us? Do aldi do pull ups?

Don't bother with the monitor do you mean? Our issue is Emma's room is the other side of the house. Like down the hall, round the corner. Might just turn the movement bit off and just have sound.

Asda have a baby event starting 17/1 and in store 19/1. Pampers easy ups 69 pack will be £13. I'd say tesco will do something similar. So think I'll wait till then.

Chris just casually mentioned he forgot to tell me he has to go to Hong Kong for work. 5 mins later he adds that it's for a whole week Saturday to Saturday! So I'm thinking, ok later in the year. Then he adds it's March. The week before we go to NZ and Australia! I'm already having a mini panic over getting sorted without any help.

No the sensor Matt!

Oh god that's bloody awful!!! Not what you need at all!! :/

Forgot? How the hell do you forget to mention that??

Spooky! My husband is doing the same!! Although I have known for a while as I made sure I returned to work a few weeks early so he wouldn't be going on my first week back!
He managed to get out of his January trip though thankgod not that he does much to help anyway :)

Tinks, I think he must have known for a while and just waited till I was in a good mood to tell me.lol.

He now keeps dropping in to conversation other little bits too. Apparently some of the others are going the weds before. Few meetings round Thailand the. Koh samui for the weekend before heading off to hk. Think he's sounding me out to se if he could go. Yeah right! Bet none of the ones going have families.

Yeah mine was like that last year, he went twice. Early Jan when I was 27 weeks pregnant with a 2yr old and April when I was 37 weeks pregnant with a 2yr old. They tried to send him in Aug/Sept and I said he'd best tell them where to go or I'd be going myself to have words ha ha

Not sure how I feel about this trip yet as it'll also be sat - sat because of the travel time, think I'm abit in denial and will probably have a full on breakdown the week before! Lol

I told Chris the same. No more travelling now we've got so many kids. To be fair, he does send others a lot of the time. But I reckon he's said yes to this one to get some sleep!lol.

He went to South Africa for almost 2 weeks when we had a 2 year old and 7 week old. He only had 3 meetings! The rest was safari, golf, and like 4 days relaxing at sun city! Couldn't believe it. Didn't help the kids and I came down with a vomiting bug the day after he left too. I try to block that time from my memory. It's was awful.

I just said to him he can go early to the other part of the trip, if I get a 4 day weekend away with a friend. He hasn't answered..... I'm dying to get back to Vegas. This could work well :-)

What a joke toria! I think I'd go mad if mr b tried to pull a stunt like that! Luckily his job doesn't require anything like that!

We took the sensor mat off Ryan's monitor a few months ago now, when he was 6/7mo when he started to crawl, it was going off twice a night, never woke ryan but always me! So I gave up and took it off!
