How are all you new mummies doing?

I can't decide whether austin would go for the tree or not. His highchair is blocking it when he's crawling about because he's still hit & miss with 'no' he keeps getting Upto it using his highchair but hasn't tried to grab it. Still worried he'd try to use it to pull himself up

Ah bless him. Thomas has those sleepsuits.

Perhaps try without the highchair while you're in the room and see what he does?

I've just glued my Xmas tablecloth to the side table to stop Luke pulling it and it totally works lol between that and the glue dots under the Xmas tree it my do citations ain't going anywhere lol

Just ordered a personalised letter from Santa for Isabelle through the NSPCC. They have several to choose from, including one for baby's first Christmas, which we chose. We're going to keep it safe for her to read when she's a bit older.

I'll try him tomorrow - it'll be there when I leave the room tho. Also have toys around the tv stand so he can't stand up at it (activity table etc)

I bet you got thomas' cheaper tho ;)

Ours came a couple of weeks ago. It's lovely! I'm gonna eventually make a scrapbook & it'll go in there...once I've found the right one

I got the NSPCC letter too, turns out my mum ordered one for hayley too. I'm going to give one to hayley to open and the other ill store in her memory box.

Ha probably! But then the amount I've spent means they've employing me for free anyway!

This was me once upon a time at schuh :D

Just had thomas' appointment letter through for the hospital to check out his indescended (peek-a-boo) testicle.

Literally arrived today and it's for Saturday. They don't give you much notice!

I want to get Emma one of those letters too.

Kathryn, I bet it's been sitting on someone's desk for ages! When I was pregnant with Emma, I got an appointment letter on the day they gave me the appointment!

Is it coz they sent it 2nd class? I usually find this issue with our nhs

Oh I bought some primark Sleepsuits for austin. At first I thought they felt alright for the £7 I paid for the 3 of them but after a few washes they look like he's been wearing them for ages with this faded the colouring looks & the bobbling (I know crawling will have aided this) - I'll stick to the asda ones for the same money. I did buy 3 pairs of trousers from there tho & they're brilliant at £4 a pair! Amazing the difference in the quality of the products from the same shop

We buy loads of stuff from
Primark (hubby works there) and I love he coloured jeans from there :) and tbh I always find all rhe stuff washes pretty well - the ink ones that have really faded have been morrisons ones. But I do find that some of their clothes aren't too generous (usually tshirts) we have a jacket from there that is 9-12 and he's totally grown out of it

Saw the funniest thing this evening. Emma was sleep eating. Lol

Lol that's so funny! My brother used to do that apparently.

I'm trying controlled crying tonight... Tries it last night (evening) and didn't to so well and has to take him out if his bedroom to calm him but tonight he called down and it's 30 mins on and he seems to have completely stopped. I've also put a brighter night light in his room.

I miss chit chat :( don't get any time at the moment

Oscar was at nursery from Monday

He's been off with dad today - up in the night with a 38 degree temp and is ill already

Really debaiting hubby staying off work and pulling him from nursery

Oh no poor oscar bex he's really going through it poor little man :-( do you think it's just the germs going round at nursery? Xxx

Yep- he's literally been ill since he started - this past 2 weeks he's been such a happy little boy as his hips been fine and no illness - 3 days at nursery and he's miserable, poorly, upset :(
