How are all you new mummies doing?

That sucks.

My sore throat is still sore, hadn't turned into anything else. Thomas now has his first tooth and hasn't made too much fuss about it which I'm really excited about!

Started to put the christmas tree up but will finish it off on Sunday now as we're out on Saturday.

Today's been Abit weird as we had a massive lay in till 10.30 so we've been abit groggy all day

Aww no Jen! I understand why your feeling like that. 13th jan is ages away especially when you where expecting the test today!

hope your throat feels better soon kathryn.

Hayley slept until 9am this morning, and only had a 15 min nap today (if that!) but stayed up until 7pm - which is her usual bedtime. So will be interesting to see if i get another long lie tomorrow

They want to leave it 6 weeks after her last seizure for her EEG or it would show seizure activity anyway from then. I just feel like I'm never going to be able to relax. She was giving us tips on what we could do so we can relax a bit more at night tho - apparantly you can get a monitor that lights up the parent one when there's prolonged movement?? I need to look up on it. The futures just looking a bit bleak. She kept saying, 'babies grow out of them normally by 3' and I just wanted to say 'that's a bloody long time!!' Anyway the best thing we can do is keep her temp down as much as we can and keep a good eye on her when she's ill.

Everyone organised for Christmas now? It's tree day for us :-)

Hope you get another lie in kaedin and your throats better pumpkin x

Hopefully she grows out of it sooner rather than later Jen. I hadn't even thought about if S had a seizure at night! Is she still in with you? If not, maybe keep a travel cot handy and have her in with you when she's unwell?

I still seem to be buying more stuff for Xmas. Lots of little tikes stuff on sale on amazon today. I got Emma the pirate ship sand and water play table for £39.99. Not very girly, but lots to do so she can have that in the summer.

We are going to put our tree up today too if Chris ever gets up! then I've got to man a stall at the school fair at 11:30, then we're off to winter woodland at Alice holt at 5 to see Santa and his reindeer. then out for dinner. When am I gonna get my nap in!? lol

Supermum strikes again! :-) I wanna be one of those mums that get involved in school fairs and PTA and stuff! I love it.

Sounds like a good Christmassy day :-)

That's a good idea about the travel cot. She also mentioned putting a wind chime on her cot when she's not well which is a good idea. It's defo the night that stresses me out more but hoepfully that mothers instinct would kick in quite quick anyway x

Aw Jen I hope she does grow out of it quickly.

My sore throat has finally turned into a cold, right on queue for meeting Daniels new work colleagues!!

Hopefully S doesn't have another seizure and theyre just being extra cautious.

Busy day Toria!

Hayley slept until 9am :D Tree day here too. Can't wait to see hayleys face when she comes home on sunday and shes all the decorations! So excited :D :D

I just love all the excitement of Christmas! I finally bought some other presents bar S! :-)

Night out with baby group mums tonight. So cannot wait to let my hair down. Hope your all having a good weekend x

What are you ladies buying as stocking fillers?

I bought a new toothbrush, a boat for the bath, a little ball, some blueberry puffs and tomato flying saucers and a pack of choc buttons and a packet of white buttons. I'm also going to put a banana in there (we always got a banana)

I'm all wrapped up, just two more to go for my mum and grandma as I need photos for hem first.

We've had an awful night with Luke last night. He was awake from 1:30-5:30 and I slept in for work (hubby took Luke downstairs at 3:15 so I could sleep but I slept in for work and loomed so dodgy they sent me home by 10:30. We're hoping for a better night tonight. He had a 90 minute nap after lunch so I managed to get a nap on myself but I really can't cope with another night like that tonight

What are you ladies buying as stocking fillers?

We've got her a small rainmaker, bath toy, toy car, toy keys, set of hair grips and (unless I have to start putting them on her beforehand) a hat and mittens. Am spending every evening working on her stocking and can't wait to finish it so I can make sure everything fits inside!

On another note, Isabelle has been major grouchy lately. She's teething, has a horrid cough/cold, isn't sleeping very well and has barely ate anything the last couple of days. I just hope she's back on form by Christmas!

I haven't even thought about Emma's stocking yet. Although. Was wondering if it's ok to give so,etching chocolate as she's so close to being 1. I held out till my older ones were 1. Literally no chocolate till their first birthday, but I don't see how one little treat can hurt.

We've had such a busy day today. Had kids school fair, so was on the stall their wrapping pressies in the secrets room. So nice though, the kids pay £2 to come in, pick a pressie for their mums and dads, then we wrap them. Then this afternoon we went to winter woodland at Alice holt. It's had bad reviews so I was really worried. But was so nice.a quick walk through the woods with fairy lights everywhere. Fed the reindeer then A little play in a yurt, then the older kids did Xmas crafts while they waited to see santa in his own little yurt. Santa was so good. Was for the older kids, but Emma was mesmerised. He wrote down in his book what all the kids wanted, and even though I hadn't paid £20 for Emma as she is under one. He still snuck her a pressie anyway. All was going good till we went for dinner with friends, Emma spewed everywhere, and again when we got home. Think she might have the bug that's going around :-(

Aww that sounds lovely Toria! (Not the spewing!!) we had a lovely day too had swimming lesson then baby sensory Xmas party tomo we hoping to take Macie to see Santa at a garden centre or might go to Nottingham Xmas market meavt to be nice! I've not been off on weekend in weeks!! I havevt got a stocking yet for Macie I need to find a nice one!! Want something special xxxx

Hey forgot to tell u going back to Barclays!! No more co op wahoo!!! Perfect hours all day thu fri and sat 10-2 xxxxx

I'll be filling my own stocking with chocolate Jojo!lol

You fill your own stocking? Lol I filled hubby's with sweets and he fills mine :)

Yip, Chris is useless. I left t to him last year, and it was empty Xmas morning. Only thing that saved him was he actually got me something I wanted for my pressie! I'm sure he thinks Santa gets all the pressies and wraps them too though.
