How are all you new mummies doing?

Nope but my friends have. Just remember them saying they felt it was overhyped? They were grateful for being able to charge their ipad tho

My oh is the same. If waking Emma isn't going to affect his sleep, he's not bothered.

After spewing her milk up before bed last night. We put Emma to bed knowing she would be up in the night. Luckily she made it to 5 this am. I got up a few times to try to get her back to sleep, took her in to our bed too, but no luck. She was screaming so I asked Chris to go get her milk while I calmed her. He did it reluctantly. He got back in to bed saying his alarm will be going off in 2O mins. Told him to turn it off. Then fed Emma and she was just nodding off when his flippin alarm went off!

yea the fact you can plug in your Ipad/iphone and play whatever off that onto the TV in headrest seems good, and the extra leg room/6ft tall cabin.. seems really good

wodner if the mood lighting and variable cabin pressures actually make a difference to show you feel coming off a flight? all to do with how the body absorbs oxygen apparently? god knows

just weighing up a dreamliner vs a 'normal' long haul aircraft?

what is it with these men this morning!!

And he's continuing to piss me off!

Booked him a dentist appt as requested. Warned him on Friday that I needed to give 24 hours notice if he need to cancel. Just had a text message asking me to cancel because he's not gonna be back for it. Said that he can't cancel he needs to give 24 hours notice & I got the reply well I won't be there.

F-ing great £18 charge or whatever it is for not giving enough notice! Also means by the time he gets in, Austin's gonna be ratty as hell because it'll be nearly bed time. Cue moaning that he's always grumpy when he's about!!

Oh dear. I don't even get involved in my OH's appointments for that very reason.

Oh my goodness! After Emma spewing her milk early this morning she's been fine. Thought I'd try feeding her dinner. Not a good idea! Ate fine although gave up about half way through, so I cleaned her up and put her on the carpet to play. Pretty much straight away she started spewing. Went through three towels and 2 muslins trying to catch it all. Emma's now fallen asleep. Poor thing. Gonna be another loooong night! That's after I get the orange stains out of my carpet.

I'm so upset :( was stroking one of our cats and she winced, so I had a look under her collar and she had been really really scratching her neck underneath. She'd had on one of those plasticky flea collars so I cut it off and she's raw underneath :( looks like she had an allergy to the collar- I've been told to leave the area just to dry over and scab but to take her back if it gets any worse, doesn't dry out as it should or if she doesn't stop scratching. I feel so awful like I should have noticed! But she's such an antisocial cat and not into stroking bit I feel like a bad cat mama.

Awwww, poor thing. Probably looks worse than it is.

Jojo, what's that mixture you do to get stains out of carpet?

Fingers crossed she's so shattered she sleeps toria!

Jojo did they not tell you to bathe with warm salt water to avoid infection

No, just to come back if it doesn't can over - she actually said to keep not dry and try not to get it wet... If she doesn't stop scratching then she may bed a cone for a while but she doesn't want a cone because it would sit on the infected area.

Toria it rob ably does but I feel like an awful mummy.my poor girl!!
Y mixture is 50/50 white fabric conditioner (like pure) and warm water.

Awww jojo she will be fine don't worry! :( your cats are house cats Arnt they?

Toria I find Oscar is extra sicky if I put him down on the floor and he's on his front ? I have to give him 10 mins after food to let it settle. Hope she feels better soon- do you think bug or reflux?

Yep indoor cats. They're also a little agrophobic. I blame this on the flea ridden cats next door passing heir fleas onto my house and needing the collars in the first place. We've never had these issues before. They never had to have flea collars like that before.

I'm not sure Bex, since I've dropped a bottle she's having more water after her meals. And seems to be then that she is spewing. So I'm wondering if because it's not as thick as her food and milk, it's coming straight back up.

She's her normal self other the being a bit more cuddly. But I put that down to not eating much so being a bit weak.

Oh and she just sits and plays with her toys. So upright still.

Luke is sick if he drinks milk out if a bottle/dippy cup, but if he takes t from an open beaker he's fine

Yea the water probs causing it I reckon!

Can you not just put some flea stuff on the back on their neck rather than a collar?

I had problems with Thomas being sick after water for quite a while. He seems to be used to it now though. His sickness has got a lot better in the last couple of weeks. We only get maybe one puke a day now if that!!

Could you try a gaviscon in the water to thicken it up?

I had thought of doing that. But I doubt she would take it. Might try giving her food, then waiting a while before giving her a drink.
