How are all you new mummies doing?

Aw I hope so nat - she's not strange with people at all but that still has plenty time to come. She seems to think that on a Monday when she is off she can have her sometimes, to be all nice and push the pram about kidding on she's a good granny! Not on my life is she taking her - she knows nothing about her!

Aw no toria!! Guildford is amazing, my favourite town. We have freebie train tickets after being 2 hours delayed last year so coming down the beginning of the year.

The dental nurse in me screams - no juice!! The non dental nurse says everything in moderation. S defo won't know what juice is til she can ask for it haha.

I seen a few things in babies r us yest, wee noisy toys and stuff that I'll get S. If anyone has asked I've said vouchers for next so I can go Boxing Day and get her next size up.

Come visit us :-)

Haha, yeah a wee pf mummy cup of tea! :-)

We have a next outlet here but it seems to be all the crap of the day there don't know about yours I witch?

There's one about 45/50 mins away

It means going into the thick of the Black Country :( not sure I can be bothered lol!

Nah if it's like mine then totally not worth it! I did get a winter coat for myself one year tho. That's a distant memory tho... Buying clothes for myself haha x

I rarely step in them Jen! Just thought it might be worth a shot. The company hubby works for used to be owned by next so they have a staff shop (got a pair of jeans for £3.50. A gorgeous coat for austin for £4 & a jumper for him for £2!) & we used to get 25% off all next stuff including furniture but it was sold to capita so their cars only gets them in the staff shop & now I begrudge buying their stuff lol

Hi ladies just catching up! I'm suprised u have commented as nice as you have bex! lol as if ur not doing all you can?!
Well hope u have had a nice weekend! I've had a busy one did the first day of my nail course I'm doing to try n up my income a bit then I got home sorted Macie then cooked a chicken dinner then u will be proud bex I made loads of little meals for Macie put of ak book then ironing! I'm so tired now there's not enough hours in the day! Xxxx

Haha am I that bad for advocating home made meals :/ :( sorry guys lol

But well done ! I made my own recipe the other day , poached a chicken breast ( chopped ) in whole milk then added mushrooms for a few mins - then put it into some cheese sauce and added some sweetcorn - zapped it all down - he loves it! Would recommend people doing it - cheese sauce recipe at back of an AK Book :) or any old
Cheese sauce with Mild cheeses like cheddar etc would work :)

Well done nat! Mind I'm a nail tech too, been qualified for 10 years and did it full time up until 5 years ago so ask if you have any questions!

That's amazing I witch. Love a wee bargain! I did a Christmas there one year and it was literally the worst. Staff were horrible, job was crap and it ruined my whole Christmas cos you were in at 5 on Boxing Day for the sale!!

Thanks ladies! I was worried about tooth decay with having juice, but I guess seeing as it will be every so often rather than every day & meal it will be fine. I'll not make an issue out of it, as long as he brushes her teeth! He text me earlier asking if "we can sit down to discuss contact arrangements maturely without prolonging mediation and heading to court?" I've not yet responded as I didn't want to snap, however; part of me really wanted to!

Sounds like a busy day for many mummies & babies :) Hayley came home with really bad nappy rash, been putting on cream each bum change and it's still very red and sore looking!

On the positive, she had a great weaning day! She ate half a jar of fishermans bake, a few tomato slice crisps, ate some mashed mango & apple (the last time she wouldnt let any in her mouth and just kept making a sour lemon face!) So im a proud mummy as she's coming along so well. Again only downside is the sickness, but it actually wasn't too bad today thankfully. I'm going to get her weighed this week as I havent been in a while

Well maybe meet up and see what he has to say - if your not happy then continue with mediation maybe?

Well done Hayley! Wonder what is causing her nappy rash? Is he using same nappies and wipes you do?

Go Hayley - sounds like she's doings great!

I agree with Bex, maybe meet and see what he says x

Not sure theres any point in meeting as he wants Friday evening until Monday morning, he said he won't budge on that. I'm not willing to give that amount to him, so not sure meeting would make any difference except causing an argument. As he always just gets angry, shouts swears and calls me names.

He uses Pampers simply dry nappies, and I have no clue what wipes. I use aldi nappies and johnson's wipes - which i've used since day 1. Her poop have been changing since weaning so not sure if that's caused it?

Jojo, the trike starts at 9 months. The ride ons are from 1 yr but we wanted things he would grow into as we already have a lot of toys from nearly new sales etc..

Bex- dont have to know anything to have an opinion!! ;)

I did one year at schuh in meadowhall! Xmas was bonkers & the sales even worse! Plus all the blokes shoes were upstairs & they're even worse than women for want so many pairs to try on! I dropped loads of weight tho lol!

We went through a week of horrific nappy rash with thomas (first time he'd ever had it) he was pooing every nappy and we were in 3 meals a day at this point. I used nappy rash ointment in the end, just water not wipes and frequent nappy changes above normal and it went eventually. Think it was just the food combined with lots of pooing

My work is why I hate Christmas, this year will be good as I'm off but next year will be back to normal.

Leaving Xmas eve at 7pm not home till 8, back in on boxing day at 7am and all the nutters that can't understand why you've sold out of the good stuff cause it's the week before fing Christmas! Then you get all the rude people trying to refund stuff and throwing things at you and telling you that they hope you die because the top they have had gone down in price by £3 so they can't get their full money back as they have no receipt. Bah bloody humbug

Yay go Hayley! It's funny how weaning suddenly clicks!
Thanks Jen il bear that in mind I'm a perfectionist n was right stressed can't say I was 100% happy but it was my first go abs practise makes perfect I suppose!
Going to try cheese sauce next time we didn't have any cheese left cus some greedy man decided to have loads of cheese on toast! Lol it does give you a sense of achievement when u make your own meals lol just hope the little bugger likes them! She loves fish pie Heinz pouch n Ella's kitchen so I can't see why she wont I've has a little taste and it taste nice she enjoyed the little chicken dinners I made her last time xxxx

OMG nat me and my friends still laugh at my first set!! Haha you will get the hang of it, it's just practice practice practice!

Where do you work again pumpkin?

Question - I forgot to buy porridge and have no blue milk left. Can I give her her weetabix with green instead?

I'm sure semi won't hurt :) isn't it more to do with more nutrients in full fat for weight gain & vitamins etc?

M&S! To be fair I actually love my job on the whole and we get a lot of very happy festive people in which is lovely.

It's just the odd few that ruin it
