How are all you new mummies doing?

My work has a social networking policy, basically you can't post anything that would defame the company. Hate it though as the number of people who don't realise at work and then I have to have conversations with them.

Good luck Kerry, let us know how your get on

Shitty for you but you'd think they'd have common sense really, wouldn't you?!

I actually like my job but haven't in the past but I would never have said anything bad on social network. It can get back to your employer & you can get into trouble. People have actually lost their jobs because of their stupidity & lack of common sense

That's the worst bit! Having to say "because you posted x, your now being investigated and could be dismissed"

I once wrote something not about work but about a college it wasn't even bad just a joke when I was steaming drunk n she raised a grievece against me worst bit about it was she wasn't even on FB but someone dobbed me in! She later told me the comment hasn't bothered her but my cow of a manager wanted to make an example of me! U have to be so careful I tagged my old work colleagues in a news article about a customer taking a poo on Barclays branch floor and they all got on trouble because the commented under it yuk and I'm not cleaning it up eyc! They take it dead far eyes everywere! Xxxx

Just booked to see Santa in december. I'm unashamedly excited! :-)

I'm not FB friends with any of my colleagues. I don't post about work anyway though. Not worth the risk.

Thing is I didn't say anything bad. I know people who have aaid worse and it hasn't even been mentioned to them.

I'm not friends with work colleagues either lol! I literally - go to work - to work ! It's funny because I must come across as a right hard faced cow but I have my friends outside of work :)

I love the people I work with! You wouldn't like it if you didn't have a sense of humour or were easily offended tho! It's all in jest which is why I love my job!

My work are so strict too! It's not worth the hassle to be honest either. How sad, I got my cupboards shelved today so my night is organising my cupboards... I'm so excited haha x

I don't speak to them outside work, I just like to spy on people lol

Oh I get on well with my team - but now in this open office thing the client care team do my head in!

I guess I have quite a professional image I need to up hold at work - whilst I'm laid back i have that fine line hence not friends with any of them on social networks - sure they Arnt too fussed lol

My best friends are people from work. (Mind you, I didn't know anyone here when I moved other than my cheating, lying, thieving boyfriend) We were at work so much, half of us married other people in the office!

Just booked our trip back to NZ for this wedding end of March! Emma will be 13 months. I'm crapping myself :-/ 13 hr flight, to Singapore. 11 hour stopover then 8 hr flight to Brisbane, then have to overnight there as there's no flights after we get in. Then 4 hour flight to Wellington. Leave here Monday night, get there Thursday afternoon!

That is crazy toria but it'll be worth it I'm sure Did you decide to all go?

Mediation was rather uneventful. Not much was discussed really. as the mediator asked us both what we want to achieve and my ex said he wants to change contact times. So spent ages talking about what we have in place at the moment, what he wants, or other arrangements in between. Then just moved on to discuss communication for the rest of the appointment which was quite good as he's now going to tell me stuff about Hayley - feeds, naps ect ect. So fingers crossed that starts working. Suggested the diary but he thinks too formal and too much paperwork (told him it'd litteraly take 2mins to fill) but he'd rather do it verbal. Which is fine with me as long as I get the info.

Jeezo Toria! :o

Jen and Bex, this is a different wedding. This is my friends March 2015, yes taking all the kids as we are going on holiday after with my dad, brother and 2 sisters and all our kids to the Sunshine Coast in Australia. 3 more babies since I last saw them including Emma. And my kids haven't met 3 of their cousins.

My sisters wedding is March 2016. At the moment will just be me going. I'm sure this trip over will put me off for life!

Kerry, what's his issue with the current arrangement? Good you got the communication but sorted huh

He thinks it's "ridiculous" and wants more access. He wants Friday evening until Monday morning.
