How are all you new mummies doing?

We're away at the end of the month with the inlaws and 2 other families. I'm dreading it! We're sharing a big house. I've got visions of Emma screaming all night long.

I don't think you can predict it maud, thomas has had one fab nights sleep In a travel cot and one horrendous one.

The whole house has come down with this bug now. I've stopped being sick but I feel pretty terrible still

Hayley is back home. My ex told me when picking her up yesterday he needs to bring her home at 9am (instead of the usual 10am) as he's working. Bit annoyed I didn't get much notice, but I know his job can be like that at times so I can't really blame him for it. He asked if she's started solids yet, I told him I've started weaning but told him to let me know what he's feeding her so I know if she has any adverse reactions or even if theres something he finds she really likes so I can make it for her too, but when he dropped her off he didn't tell me about any feeds or how she slept. He did move the straps on her carseat for me though as I had no idea how to do it!

Her cheeks are bright red today so think her bottom tooth is finally almost ready to make an appearance. She refused her morning nap so think ill have a tired & grumpy baby soon, bless

Work has managed to put me in for work 25 hours a week and give me shirty 4 hour shifts so I'm in 5 days a week instead of 3. I'm sonannoyed I could burst!! And every Sunday too - the *******s

I had - they say this is what the "needs of he service" are. I'm going to go in to work and do the bare minimum and nothing else, no niceties, no favours, no swaps, just the bare bare minimum as that's how much they support me. I refuse to give them any respect because they don't deserve it.

I've now disinfected all the bathrooms after feeling Abit more normal. Struggling to get thomas to eat or drink much though.

Managed porridge this morning with a little bit
Of milk, hasn't really eaten his lunch and offered some more nilk but hasn't really had that.

He's asleep again so I'm just going to keep offering milk and food every now and then to see if he'll have any

You need to take the lead kaedin - and tell him what he should give her and when? She needs to have routine with food and if he doesn't tell you what he's had to eat drink or sleep you need to ask yourself and find out ?? It's upto you to ask as much as him to tell you?

Jojo they need to meet the agreed return conditions - tell them to go forth ....

Kathryn, that what Emma was like. I stuck to white bland food too. She kept it down better, and stains to a minimum. Hope it passes quick.

Saw the photos on Facebook Jen I've got a small bouncy castle in the shed I might get out for Emma this week. She will probably love it too.

I dunno who suggested it but a diary/book would be good for that kaedin. If he doesn't complete it then it'll be ammunition at a later date of you need it.

The paedophile hunter is still getting discussed a lot on Twitter! I replied to a tweet then got a user debating with me who then said my comments were vile! She had to apologise because it wasn't my comment she was talking about. All I basically said the child probably wouldn't have been allowed contact with father & that if that was my child I wouldn't want him to!

I got a retweet from Stinson Hunter too like how he actually reads people's tweets!

Have you asked why they've changed it with no discussion? I know they say it's business needs but when you have agreed something already, surely that's a change that's already gone through HR as its a flexible working request
