How are all you new mummies doing?

Haha that cute jojo, she must have a wee accent already ;-) she's got a pretty bad birthmark on her head, it's a raised pink one. I'm always getting asked if she's cut her head. I don't know what'll happen to it when she's older but her hair will cover it anyway x

People need to mind there own and say positive things or keep schtum!

Wow! Imagine being 7ft!!

Thanks girls - I don't 'see' it either iyswim - i just see her face, it's part of her so i don't even notice it anymore.

We all have gorgeous babies!! Everyone else just needs to bog off lol

I'd take it as a compliment when they say about weight! Your obviously doing the right things with her food!

Jojo, we're down to 3 bottles a day. 8.30am, 4pm and 8pm. He has milk with his porridge but his other milk feeds are on their own. With his lunch and dinner he has water.

Thomas has a scar on his head from where they took blood from him while he was still in the womb. Other than that he doesn't have any marks

Just caught up!!

Jen- was so close to posting something just now! Scarlett is perfectly beaut! She's a healthy baby - if we posted pics of our babies at exactly 6 months old- the spectrum would be immense!

My friend came around earlier with her 4.5 month old who's the same size as Oscar! There's like 10 weeks difference and she's 1lb heavier! She's got the most amazing chunky thighs I could munch away on!

All our bubs are perfect :)

I wish we all lived closer to 1 another ! Us regulars on a coffee morning with all the babies - can you imagine the chasos ! Maybe we should plan a day trip !!

Like decided at 8:30 to wake up and he's been up since - we took him downstairs and he's back in bed now and still awake! I swear he's never going to sleep!!

He'll sleep ;) perhaps he's learning something new this week.

It def would be chaos! All the babies in the same room.

People are horrible sometimes, as bex says everyone had beautiful babies and we are all trying our best for them. To have these comments is not helpful! I don't think people understand unless they are in that moment of their lives.

My mil keeps coming out with corkers! She's a food snob so thinks I should be making stuff for him (even though she hasn't said this!, although she's now giving me stuff she's done lol!)

Any way I made oven baked haddock with cheese sauce and mushed frozen peas for Thomas and he hated it! So that really helps me trying new things!! Loves the jars (inc salmon) hates mummies food. I thought it was lovely!!!

He's been rolling onto his front a lot thus week - maybe he's going to try and crawl

5:45am wake up call this am. Was reeeeally hopeing Emma might sleep in this morning. No chance. Pooey nappy, rumbling tummy, and after a bottle bouncing of the cot walls!

Luke woke at 9am. Just wondering what to do about his bottles now

Wait til he tells u he's hungry jojo! Best way to work out what he wants is to let him tell u!

I'm Just constantly worried he isn't having enough. My hv aaid he's about to fall off his centile and I made me feel like a bad mother who wasn't feeding their child enough. He had a bowl of museli thismorning but only 2oz of Milk. His bottle will be ok until 11:30 so I'll try him on the rest later. I just wish I knew why the right thing was. Also I'm trying to get in there before he's hungry because he gets so worked up he won't drink anything if you wait until he's hungry. He doesn't give you a clue he's getting hungry he just screams

Us too toria.. 530 here! Mamas night off tho so I'm defo going for a nap later ;-)

Does he take it if you increase his next amounts jojo and space it out as normal?

Ryan wasn't finishing his bottles and I was getting worried about it so I thought rather than making a bottle when I think he needs it il wait til he tells me he needs it, I was offering it every three hours but when I left him he didn't start whinging til 4 sometimes 5 hours but then he will drain the bottles and actually ends up drinking more in total! X

I always think if u were bfing u would have a clue how much he was drinking each time so don't worry too much xx

Hayley rolled onto her tummy for the first time in her cot. She hates being on her tummy so started screaming until I rolled her over. Hoping she doesn't make this a habit as it took her a little while to re-settle!

Tired her with some porridge today, she was enjoying it. But soon started screaming the place down, not sure why - but I know her teeth have been bothering her.

Ahh maybe! She had her morning bottle at just before 8am and I fed her the porridge at just after 9.

Have you tried giving him his bottle before his breakfast? I do that for 2 reasons - 1 because he drinks milk better before food & 2 I know he'll have 2 decent bottles throughout the day (bed time one). He has 4oz with his lunch & tea. Gonna get some vitamin drops tho because he doesn't seem interested some days!

MW told me to start feeding him before bottle to reduce the amount of milk he takes

I feed him usually at 7am then breakky at 9 but if I feed him at 9 when he got up today he wouldn't have breakfast as well so had to chose one after the other. So he ended up taking the rest if he bottle at 10:30. It's actually the night time bottles km having issues with in drinking so he's having a bottle at 4 then won't take anything and wakes up at 8ish because he's hungry. So I'm trying to tweak his bottles so he has one before he goes to bed instead of refusing it.
