How are all you new mummies doing?

Well me and hubby were talkig. And if his bottles go to schedule (7:30, 10:30,1:30,3:30,6:0) he drinks 7oz when he gets up, about 4-5at 10:30, about 4 at 1:30, refuses his 3pm
Bottle a lot of the time and has it at 4;30-5ish and drinks about 5 then refuses his 6pm bottle which he sometimes wakes for and sometimes doesn't

So sometimes he just has 21oz and sometimes has 26oz tbh I don't think he ever has 31oz lol

Maybe I'll start making his dating bottles down to 5 instead of 6 and giving him 7 in the morning.

I hate days like that jojo! Can't offer advice cos S does it sometimes too and never know what to do!

What a day of highs and lows! Had a great day with S and she had a good bit food and still took 32oz so feeling hopeful she will sleep all night... Or just wishful thinking!

Did any of you see my FIL comments on S video? Does my head in, all I ever hear from them is how big she is still! :wall: going away all weekend with them next week so gonna get hubby to talk to them before we go!

Ooo Jen, just looked. I joke that Emma looks like she ate another baby cause she's so much bigger. But I wouldn't want anyone else commenting. Just ignore it. As I've said before babies need to put on weight to grow. My son was 9lb3 at birth, off the chart for weight and height. Now he's 8, and we can't get enough food in him. He's too skinny.

Ignore him! She's gorgeous!! Luke eats but he's a long skinny thing with a huge head just like his uncle was when he was little.

Babies need to eat and put on weight. I wish like would put on a bit more.

I saw but didn't realise who he was - def get hubby to speak to him. I get the same with Maddie 'ooh what's your mummy feeding you!' And stuff like that - just ignore them she's gorgeous!! Baby's are meant to be chubby in my opinion! Love chubby baby thighs lol :) I said when I was pregnant I wanted a chubby baby girl with lots of hair - def got what I asked for there!

Haha, aw she's gorgeous too! I love chubby babies too, I have no issue with her weight. It's more that they never say positive things, it's always about her weight and I'm sick of it.

Thanks jojo, loved your comment! X x

I get the same, all I ever get from in laws is negative comments - always about what she hasn't got or doesn't do rather than what she does. The one that really brings up the protective mama bear thing in me is when people comment on her strawberry mark - my sil has said a few times oh it's such a shame. I said no it's not 'a shame' it doesn't affect how gorgeous she is in anyway it's just part of her. My in laws always say it's a shame and oh it's not got any smaller and things like that - really makes me want to give people a slap for those kind of comments!

Just seen your video jen! Just ignore him! S is absolutely gorgeous! You must be proud, she's doing so well with her food already, clever girl!

Things are kicking off her with the independence referendum result, riot vans as many No voters are in town waving their union jacks, setting off flares, doing nazi salutes. Absolutely ridiculous!

Took Hayley swimming today and she loved it again :D Sh went to bed early at about 6pm, so i recon ill be up early in the morning as she normally doesn't go to bed until 7:30-8 ish.

Really kaedin?! That's crazy!! How crazy some ppl just enjoy causing trouble!
Jen n Sophie bloody ignore them I have exactly same with my in laws cus sil baby is still in 0-3 at 15 weeks all I get is she's such a chunk she's after her mum etc etc I don't care I honestly do mean wen I say that S and M are both bloody gorgeous n when try start moving about they loose the weight plus I love a chunky baby makes me feel I'm doing my job as a mummy right! Xxxz

I never noticed a strawberry mark on any of your photos! Hayley has a pink mark between her eye brows and a few birth marks on the back of her head. Some people have mentioned them before, mostly people asking if she was lying on something causing a red mark on the back of her head - drives me nuts as it's always people that ive told that she has birthmarks there (and already shown them!!) I don't mind the marks themselves, but it's the silly comments!

Maddie has the same mark between her eyebrows, I forgot what the midwife said it's technically called but some people call it a stork kiss, and she has one on the back of her head too, her strawberry mark is right on her hairline, her hair naturally falls with the parting to that side so I can't hide it really, she looks really odd if we put the parting to the other side lol, doesn't look right and I don't feel the need to cover it either really?!

Emma has a stork mark too. Like a V on her forehead. All my kids have had it. Emma has pink birthmarks at the base of her neck, middle of her back and above her bottom. The thing I always get comments about is Emma's flat head.

Luke had a red mark on the back of his head apparently from the scalp
Monitors they used when I was in labour - it doesn't stick out much and as his hair is growing it's covering over but he's very very blonde so it's still visible - we call it his on switch lol

Like also has a birthmark on his left thigh... I didn't notice it until he was a few days old and tried to clean it off because I thought it was a mark - it's kinda brownish looking.

Thanks ladies, I know I'm biased but I think she's perfect! We are all lucky ladies cos they are gorgous! I've never noticed it either dizzy! Defo brings out the mama bear in you when it comes to the kids. x

I had never noticed Maddies strawberry mark before! I must always be too busy looking at her cute face! I think hayley has these too, took her to the gp when she was young about it - but can't remember if they were called strawberry marks.

My exs cousins baby had the same mark between her eyes and it's faded now (shes about 3) so i reckon it'll go away on it own. If it doesn't i dont mind, as i think its actually quite cute hehe

Stanley doesn't have a birth mark as such.. The only thing I've ever noticed is on one of his ear lobes he has a tiny hole/dimple (looks like a closed up ear piercing!) and on the other lobe in the same spot he has a tiny little bump! It's like the bump is where it should have filled the hole on the opposite ear! So strange and cute haha!

Me and my brother have the same birth mark on the same place on our necks apart from mines a darker shade of skin and his is a lighter shade! I think it's weird how we ended up with the same thing!

I showed my hubby - he was peering over my shoulder and asked who the baby was and he just said "is she Scottish? She sounds like a Scottish baby" lol

I always get fat baby comments!! Without fail. Or 'oh GOD he's big isn't he? How old is he? Oh that's big for that age!'

Img there's a kid on buzz feed who was 15.4lbs and 2ftbwje bye was born! He's now five and is 5ft 7!! His mum is over seven foot tall and suffers from having a rate growth hormone and is still growing at a rate if about 1.5omches every few years.

Yikes!
