How are all you new mummies doing?

We don't have an Aldi near by or I'd be there now.

Good plan Kathryn. Let me know what you get!lol

I got two of the Highchairs (exactly like cosatto noodle supa which retails for £90) they were 29.99 each a a Hauck stroller for £22.99 plus a box of size 5 nappies which I'll store.

Would have got more but couldn't fit anything else in the trolley and I had no arms left. Couldn't be bothered to go in a second time!

Those Highchairs are going like hot cakes though. Was only 3 left after me

Just attempted to feed Luke in morrisons lol I swear there was more food on his face than on his mouth lol his face is still orange dispite the huge number of wipes I went through.

My mum bought some morrisons nappies to keep at hers when we visit... Has anyone ever used them? I mean they're just for emergencies really while I'm there with Luke or when she's babysitting.

havnt personally but meh- for what they are used for i wouldnt be too fussed- most supermarket brans are very similar in hwo they are made - im sure they will do the job for the odd ocasion or emergancy :)

MIL off to the lakes tomorrow morning so i was meant to have holiday tomorrow and next friday! low and behold ive had to bung oscar on my friend tomorrow for 4 hours to come into work ! GAH

not doing it next friday though! cheeky swines!

That's Shirley bex. I have no idea what I'm going to do on he days work sends me on training as they're 9-4 usually and hubby has to be on his way to work by then.

Like slept in again until 9:00 today which is great for me but throws his bottles all off.

Just balanced 2 boxs of nappies whilst pushing the pram to the car park! Love a good bargain at Aldi!

I'm having a little clean out off cupboards and I have some random stuff including a book called "10 spiritual lessons you can learn from your cat. I'm trying to get all the computer consoles (we have 5) apart from our PS3 into the cupboard before Luke starts bubbling in wires lolly house is now a mess! Bit it's gotta get messy before it get clean sometimes

Best way of sorting out- make a massive mess and then sort through!

My coffee table has taken the most damage lol - just really Hoover round apart from that. I have some stuff in my landing though. It's not too had and I have motivation to get it sorted in the form
Of my friend coming around for a cuppa tomorrow afternoon lol

Know that feeling. Ie been sorting through things this week and my sister in law is staying Friday and Saturday so I'm currently trying to clean and tidy the house

My big girl's 6 tomorrow! Just spent all evening wrapping presents. Funny how I end up buying all the presents from aunts, all 3 sets of grand parents and us. Oh and guess who has to wrap them all! Glad it's over, although now I'm tempted to take some of the bits we got back and put in the loft for Xmas. Too much for one little girl.

I don't vote and never have done! Personally I think it's all a fix, they just like you to think you have a say when really they all work along side eachother at the top!

We've had a nice day visiting my friend who is moving to Spain with her OH in a couple of weeks, missed baby social as Stanley still has a bit of a cold :( I'm tired tonight though so think I'll try get an early night.

My great grandmother was a huge advocate for the female vote so it was drummed into me from a very young age that I must always vote and I always do, but never before I've researched each party- if I was Scottish I know what id
vote for but I don't get one so it doesn't matter.

If I were you I'd put them in the loft for Xmas if there's loads.

Speaking of Xmas, what is everyone buying their babies? Luke will be 9 1/2 months at Xmas. We've bought him a walker as his main present and were getting some soft blocks for him that can be used in the bath or on dry land. Not sure what else lol

We've bought mega blocks so far. Will get a few things that are age appropriate and then the rest will be for when he's abit older, like a smart trike.

For his birthday we are going to get him toys to play with in the garden when te weather is better.

He's already got a walker and an activity centre which I bought second hand. Going to another baby sale this weekend so might pick up a few bits then

I don't really know what I'm getting Stanley he already has a fair few vetch toys, he's got a baby walker and goes like mad in it think ill get him one of
Those where you stand and push/walk with it, some clothes and some outdoor summer toys perhaps..

Problem is most the stuff I've bought her are clothes, and new scarf and gloves. Stuff she needs. She wanted a styling head which is the one toy we got her. Maybe I'll let her open everything from people, then put them away after she does the thank you's lol.

For Xmas for Emma I've been buying little things when they've been on sale. Shape sorter, blocks, noisy toys. Want to get her one of those push along walker things, but she may need that before Xmas.

My mum is buying Macie a smart trike thing but we are just getting her little bits as she will have loads off other people and I'm going to next sale on Boxing Day I want to her her ty doc mcstuffin toys as she gets dead excited when it comes on TV lol can't actually wait fir Xmas this year!!
I need to read about the Scotland vote I'm really not sure what it means to us and Scotland I've not watched the news in weeks or read a paper I feel a bit ashamed I always vote as same as you Jo Jo I've always had it drummed into me women died for you to have vote! X

I'm reading about it now without causing a massive debate id love to no what out Scottish ladies take on it was? Xxx
