How are all you new mummies doing?

None of Stanley's 3-6 shorts/trousers for him anymore either he can still get away with most of his t shirts though..

I'm not sure what I'm doing about work yet my old boss phoned me up a couple of weeks ago offering me a job if and when I want one, I think I'd like to go back for maybe 20 hours a week or something just dunno when! After being so broody and wondering when to ttc again I've figured we'll try next summer cos I really wana do some travelling next year and god knows what it'd be like if I was pregnant and we want to do some travelling before we have another!

Where do you fancy going Stacey? In the camper? Sounds like a good idea. I'm jealous of you ttc next year, we have agreed when S is 2 and a half so that she goes to nursery when bubs is born. Makes sense but seems like aaaages!!!

Judging by your photos dizzy I sooo think you should follow that. Even if you get an evening job in a supermarket or something to bring some money in til it's off the ground.

Hi ladies sorry not posted much so much to catch up on hope you and the gorgeous babies are all good! We are off to the seaside Tomo for the day which will be nice! Has anyone got any plans for the weekend? Is anyone else got the prob of if u leave ur lo with anyone they start screaming I left m with my gran yesterday 4 an hour whilst I went to a job interview n wen I got back she was hysterical n today left her with my aunt for 30 mins whilst I nipped to the shop and the same I'm starting to worry about going back to work and leaving her any ideas? Xxxx

Thanks :) I really want the photography to work out but it'll take a while to get off the ground but I'm working on it!

Maddie started doing that and I thought it was cos I haven't really left her so I've left her with my parents just for 10mins or so at a time while I pop to the shop etc just so se gets used to it and she's not so bad this week

Hayley does this. If I leave the livingroom she'll start crying, but it's not even a real cry. So I've been trying to just ignore her so she doesn't think ill come running everytime. But it's hard to do!

It must be hard with all 3! Bet you can't wait till she can eat what you all eat!

I'm still waiting for the other two to eat what I eat.lol. I now do dinner for Emma at 5ish, Jack and Maddie at 6, then Chris and I at 7:30. Or I'll eat with the kids at 6 if Chris is out.

Just signed up to ocado. Got pamphlet through the post £20 off and free midweek delivery for a year, so thought I'd give it a go and see if I can save some money. Never done supermarket shopping online. Was quite exciting. Also have a baby event on so heaps of organix, Ella's kitchen, Heinz baby food half price, and pampers half price too.

Jen, I put all Emma's 3-6 stuff away at the weekend. Other than a few tops that are loose fitting that she can still wear when it's warm. I went to m&s the other day and picked up a few 6-9 clothes, and also her winter snowsuit. And I've now got an obsession with pretty winter hats. Bought 3 today. Whoops.

Emma does the screaming if she's left with anyone too. Even my oh. I really didn't want her to be clingy. Even if I give her to my son while I do something, if she can't see me she starts screaming. Although she's been fine at nursery, guess cause there's so much going on. Hope it fixes her clingyness.

She's off to nursery tomorrow. If I can coordinate getting her there, and getting the kids to school on time. Then I'm off to the gym if I can find my gym kit, iPod and membership card. Lol. Then to get some food cooked for Emma. Facial if they can fit me in (got voucher for my birthday in November I haven't had the chance to use yet), nails done, then take the older two swimming after school before picking Emma up. Or maybe I'll just come back home and sleep :-)

Abit random, but I just went back to the first few pages of the thread and read a little, so surreal! I instantly had a flash back of long dark nights up feeding a tiny newborn! Why are they growing up so fast!? Xx

Was on the verge of going to hospital tonight :( back pain so bad it was like I was in labour again and severe cramps and heavy heavy period with a lot of clots and awful stomach cramping. Mum thinks it sounds awfully like a miscarriage but I wasn't showing up as pregnant or anything so I'm going to go to docs on Monday ( nobody to look after Luke tomorrow for me to go for something like that) if I'm bad at the weekend.

Go get checked out. Could possibly be ectopic? Takes longer for it to show up on a test.

So you told your mum?

Yeah we're very close. I don't think there's any pregnancy at all if there was one - bleeding is too heavy. Can't get checked out until Monday because there's nobody for Luke

That sounds awful Jojo! Are you able to take Luke with you to the doctors tomorrow? Might be best just to be checked over at least before the weekend. Hope you feel better very soon!

Well if I can get an appointment but it's unlikely on a Friday - too many clinics on. It's hard to take him with me because I don't want to leave him if they want to geek me over and if they sent me to a&e I'd be unable to go.

Of the pain gets worse over weekend I'll go to walking or a&e

Took some strong ass painkillers and it's keeping pain off.

We want to go to France and hopefully some of Europe, we were meant to go to France this year but had so much going on with OHs son and courts etc it just wasn't going to happen plus money also became an issue.
We want to go round the world eventually, I read a book earlier this year about a family who travelled round the world in their vw camper man his wife and 3 kids! It's inspired me haha

I suppose ya got to ttc when the time is right for you both though ey

Jojo I hope you feel better soon cos that sounds awful :|

Been out all day so loads to catch up on!

Jojo, I'm with the others think you should see if there's an appointment to get checked over, hope you're feeling better though.

I'm still using the hipp organic jars as they're on 10 for £6.50 and that's basically 10 meals. I've tasted them and I think they are all really nice. I don't think I could make things that cheap and u figure that once he's on more solid food he can have what we are eating. He has fresh fruit sometimes and he's getting the hand of biscotti now.

My only issue is he really can't be bothered to feed himself. He's much happier for me to do it! (Great cause I can control the mess but not great with introducing water as he can't be bothered to hold the beaker!)

Oscar loves being fed! But I do encourage water drinking with meals - he has a bottle ATM of it - I have to get water in him to keep his stools loose because of thick formula etc though!

Toria that offer sounds amazing for ocado! Was there a code or something? Can't go wrong on half price pampers!

Well it's taken a few days but our bedroom at MILs is decorated and ready for carpet- hubby just fitting the curtain rail tomorrow when we take Oscar around for the day!

I'm off out with a friend tomorrow night for cocktails - really can't afford it but back to work Monday so think I need a few to let my hair down!

Gutted Jen about your return to work! I've hated being away from Oscar this week :(

Oh and we have agreed TTC once settled in new home! And to have baby when Oscar is 3 and gets his 15 hours free at nursery :)
