How are all you new mummies doing?

Ahh so if it touches formula - sterilise until 1 year old

I've been extra proud of Hayley the last few days as she's really been doing well at moving her legs when standing like she's really trying to walk.

Baby centre say only in bottles because beakers are easier to clean...pretty sure the beakers I have are harder to clean than the bottles...

Sterilise until a year - including bowels and spoons because you wash them with a grubby cloth- you say it's silly but I don't think so :)

I cold water sterilise all oscars bowels and spoons etc. And everything at nursery is sterilised.

I appreciate he has toys in his mouth and all that but when it comes to the kitchen I'd never forgive myself if he got a food bacteria related illness or something

Luke does thst lol he's standing up and does a big stomp lol - I've been laughing at him because he's good at sitting then notices his feet, trues to put them in his mouth and falls over lol

Noticed tonight his angelcare support for the bath is getting close to being too small, whst is everyone else going to after 6 months for the bath? I was thinking ine if these but not sure

Oscar still has his baby bath- the one end is lie down and te other end is moulded for sitting up :)

He's got to stay in a baby bath now as MIL doesn't have one! Only a massive walk in shower :)

All Thomas' stuff gets washed in the dishwasher - no grubby cloths round here!

^^same....what's a dish cloth?

Haha same. I go mental if anyone uses our kitchen sink cos the watermarks drive me mental. I wash her bottles by hand each night though which a special bottle brush and that takes me 10mins but cleaning the sink back to my liking after takes half hour!!

Yeah I thought something like that jojo or the ones that are like a bumbo seat. We have the AC support too and S is fine til she starts kicking and splashing with her feet and near enough falls out!!

Am I crazy or is it my OCD speaking, the thought of putting her stuff in the dishwasher grosses me out more cos it has a residual smell inside even tho I regularly rinse and clean mine. Someone tell me I'm mad talking!

Gave Maddie a rusk after her dinner to chew on cos she's been really chewing everything with her teeth bless her and she absolutely loved it! I watched her like a hake but she's loving her food!

I stopped sterilising with Maddie when she was about 7 months, just put everything on a hot wash through the dishwasher which steamed it all like sterilising anyway so no issues there. Will keep going with Emma's bottles in the steriliser though. So much easier wi the microwave steriliser, then just leave the bottles in there till I need them.

No not mad - I don't put her bottles or beakers in there for the same reasons I don't want them mixing with everything else but bowls & spoons go in the dishwasher

Oh and daddy fed her dinner hence the almighty mess on her bib - why is it he makes so much mess when he feeds her??!!

Is that insert for the high chair from ikea?

Don't have a dishwasher here!! No room for one either with the plumbing lay out!

MIL has one though ! Mwahahaha

Jojo, that looks good. I've got our old one from when I had my son 8 and a half years ago. It's just a support that they sit in with a few toys attached. It's good to keep them safe, but still means you've gotta hold them to clean their bottom etc.

Only 30 mins of crying from Emma tonight. 8 trips up. She's getting herself on her knees, then launching herself forward and hurting herself. Not looking forward to when she's crawling and pulling herself up on the cot!
