How are all you new mummies doing?

I'm very sensitive to certain fats (namely lard mainly) and I can't eat them because they're cooked in lard. I just wouldn't do it.

Had my flexible working meeting today. They basically told me come back full time or not at all so that's me jobless! I'm going to take my full maternity leave entitlement to take me up to next march so I get as much holiday pay as I can out of them then will need to find a new job after next march! Grrrrr!!!

My mil asked me if Maddie wanted a slice of that plasticy fake cheese today since 'she's old enough' apparently!!! Wtf??!!!! Yeah old enough for a bit of purée = give her a slab of chemicals

God give me strength!!!

That crap!! I'm not looking forward to my letter about my work. If I don't have a job then were in benifits :( possibly homeless. I'd have to make husband give up work and I really don't want to do that.

Did them give you a reason why you're unable to go back? Can you appeal it?

Omg, that's not flexible at all! Thought they had to offer some compromise? Could you possible go back while you look for something else?

Don't think my almost 6 year old has even had any of that plastic cheese stuff yet. 4 months... Definitely not.

They don't have to, they do however have to consider it and then I've you a written response as to why they can't accommodate it. Has anyone else gone back soon similar to what you've requested?

I took a test and it's a squinted under bright light lol I'm thinking it's an evap.

That plastic cheese is awful!! I don't know why anyone would want that plastic cheese at any age

I can't even get a picture of it which is why I thinknit's an evap. If I get a squinter/evap tomorrow I'll post it lol

Their reasons we're nah we're too busy which is complete bullshit! I just knew they were going to do this. They haven't considered it at all. Their excuses were so pathetic. I've got a copy emailed to me of the meeting and their reasons so I'm gonna look it over when I'm less angry and drcide whether to appeal. It just reconfirms to me though that it's not the right place for me - if Maddie's ill or has an accident at nursery and I have to leave work they won't understand they'll make my life hell about it

I'm sorry to hear this hun, how awful of them but like u say after this u prob wudnt feel so comfortable working there. Didn't even realise they cud do that.

Defo wanna line spot jojo I have a feeling u r preggers!!!

I think if it was it would've showed by now and I don't have sore boobs or anything. I have a sick feeling in my throat but I've had a lot of indigestion lately and I think it's that.

My dad loves that plastic cheese, he basically eats 2 cheese sandwiches every morning lol!

That's rubbish they won't be flexible with your shifts at all dizzy!! Hope you get something manageable sorted soon, it's extra stress you could do without.

Hope you are happy with the result either way Jojo! Is your OH looking forward to having 2 babies so close together or will he be happy either way too.

I'm having an ok day today, Hayleys teeth have been really bothering her but she's been pretty happy overall. My ex has text me and been pretty civil, asking to pick her up an hour earlier on Saturday as he's finishing work earlier and offered to drop her off an hour earlier on Sunday to compensate. Even text me saying he's set a standing order up for the full amount of hayleys child maintenance. I think his solicitor has warned him he needs to be civil to me, or maybe the mediator. Hopefully it continues, as I like living without the stress of him being mean to me

That's good then kaedin you don't need so much stress Hun fingers crossed it continues and he's realised what's best for Hayley xxx

Hubby might freak out at first if I am
Pregnant but I think he's enjoy it - he's a really great dad (even if he does annoy me at times) only thing is of we have 2 close together I think I'll definitely want three children lol I swear if I won he lottery we'd be one if throat couples who haves child every year until menopause lol.

I'm really nervous for next weekend - hubby is away thur afternoon to Sunday evening and I've never been on my own with Luke overnight :( I'm just really nervous about it.

Hopefully, only thing that has annoyed me today was that he posted on FB that hayley is now 5 months old and said it has "flew past". Of course it's flew for him he wasn't there for her the first 3.5 months and now he barely spends much time with her as she's with his family when he's got her! Gahh. Oh well. I'm surprised he even remembered (but I bet his aunt text him to say happy 5 month as she's done it every other month so far).

Really? Haha god being pregnant for 9 months in 1 year was tough enough lol! I'm sure you'll be fine :)

Aww Hayley just woke up and was sick. Wiped her face and gave her a dummy and she's fallen back asleep. She's actually been more sick than usual today bless :(

My mum said she's going to make like a halfday cake when he's 6 months and put a little tea on... I swear I worry about her sanity sometime. Apparently Luke has some new books at hers because her friend was doing her daughters room out and she wouldn't let them go to the charity shop she just made a pile and was like "mummy this is he Luke pile! You can give them to him and say they're from his best friend" she's so bloody cute!!

Kaedin I hope Hayley is better now, Luke has done that a few times and he sleeps ok after.

My work now counts child illness against your absence.. Only because a few idiots used to take the pee and have spoilt it for everyone else now. So 8 shifts in 6 months and it's a written warning! If you have an ill child who then passes it on to you it's quite easy to get up to 8 shifts when you work full time

It stinks that they're making loads of excuses about not being able to be flexible

8 shifts or 8 absence periods? So if your kid is sick for 8 days and you can't get anyone to look after em it's a warning?
